3 Abrupt Decisions

Ryan finally calming down went out to the main hall heading towards his father's study. Reminiscing the same hallways he left in the dust in his past life. He abandoned the house after his father's death fearing that all of his memories about his father will keep haunting him if he stayed. He could only leave and move on.

Arriving at the wooden door he knocked thrice until he heard his father said the word "come in"

Finally, marching in front of his father Ryan felt overwhelmed unable to keep his usual calm and domineering aura. Seeing his father in flesh again his old memories of his old man lying on his death bed appeared on his mind again.

"I'm gonna make sure that fathers gonna get better or I'll die trying." Ryan resolutely thought to himself

"U-hum son today I called you here to discuss an urgent matter involving you and our company. You see your Uncle Johnson and I proposed that you and her daughter would be married as soon as you two graduated. You two will help each other in managing the company." His father told him exactly was said in his past life and Ryan agreed to it in his mind he's finally going to manage the company.

"Father if I may, I would like to work as an intern at first in the company. I would also like to know everyone in it and would like them to know me as a person. Also, I will try my best to get into your position using my own efforts. As for the marriage please tell Uncle John that I would like to find someone I like to marry I'm sure his daughter feels that way and I'm deeply sorry." Ryan said unwavering looking in his father's eye to tell him that he's serious about the proposition in hand.

"Good Job my boy! I was the same when I was at your age living my life the way I want it to be. I was unbounded by your grandfather's restrictions, way back then I never gave up the thought of someone I love to marry. Best decision I ever made. As for your other request, I understand that you want to meet your future employees as to know who is the one who excels, works hard, and is determined to advance in life. Also to know who's a defect and would probably cause trouble in the future." His father said beaming proudly at him as if he's his prized trophy.

"Father I would also request a few of the latest gaming cabin for me and my bro's if that's okay I know they wouldn't have them at their house I plan on setting them up at my gaming room if that's fine with you." Ryan looked at his father's face nervously hoping that he'll comply.

"I can but what do you plan on playing also how many do you need if it's just a quick buck game then forget it." His father demandingly said.

"It's the new AI generated game "Prairie Fire" I heard that it will be the biggest money making game after its release many companies are already planning to invest in it. I would also like to invest in it to prove I'm qualified to take over. As for the gaming cabins I just needed four of them for my bro's also they will be spending more time in here." Ryan said completely lost in his plans for the game.
