Miki was embarrassed. 

" What the hell would I even get from lying to you?!"

Carseain looked bewildered. 

"Nah, I mean you both keep acting like a married old couple and now you say this. I didn't take Toran to be such a wuss."

' I mean it's not like Miki has a fiancé whose picture-perfect or someone better than him whom she loves. 

What problem does he have in walking a flowery path?!'

Miki: "I know, right? Not only is he a coward but there are times that he annoyingly plays l dumb to get out of the sticky situation."

Miki began ranting and Carseain simply laughed. 

It was an amicable atmosphere where little secrets here and there of other people were being shared.

Carseain was hoping to get a clue about Kaiser and Shivran's history. He wanted to understand them better.
