Provocation

They spent the night in the inn that was booked by Carseain for them accompanied by the words,

" I wanted to take you guys to my mansion but there are annoying insects which still have not been found. I shall have it cleaned up by the next time we meet and you can probably start working then. "

The next morning the brothers left the territory accompanied by two of the Esselgarde shadows.

They decided to travel on foot for a certain distance.

Cain, who had a normal person's constitution and was obviously not able to keep up with trained individuals, was carried by one of the shadows.

It was the same pair of shadows that were asked to tail Cahill when he first left. The man introduced himself as J11 and the woman as K9.

It was awkward at first but they were able to break the ice soon with some 'Assassin talk'.

K9: " I did not know that drinking salt and sugar water would make you less thirsty and even energized." She exclaimed.
