When Shi died Ma'am X was devastated. For many days she cried until no more tears could be shed. A few days later a new love came in the mail and his name was Shiro. Shiro was a good lizard who liked to make his Master happy. He liked to be handfed and sleep either in her hand or on her chest listening to the heart. There were calm and peaceful days and turmoil. Days turned into weeks then months. Ma'am X was the star in the limelight at work. There were good and bad days. The mask, which had to be worn made it difficult to communicate with others but Ma'am X did her best. Some young men showed interest in her but weren't interested in an emotional connection so Ma'am X was still single for almost an entire year.
