26. Kind Heart

After my small chat with Leon, I got into my Taekwondo uniform and posed for Andre as he took pictures of me for the article. Leon walks into the small room we moved too with Chloe beside him laughing loudly, I smile softly before Andre instructs me to head back to the studio so Leon can ask me more questions before the next photoshoot.

I sat back into my spot near Leon and turn to the camera as Andre began to count again.

"After that short break we are back and as you can see Marinette has changed into the uniform she competes in! Looking as beautiful as ever!" Leon smiled happily.

"Thank you," I nod.

"Back to where we left off, we were speaking to Marinette about her relationship with everyone's favorite male martial artist Anthony Yuan, where Marinette has officially declined the rumors of the two opponents being in a romantic relationship," Leon smiled.

"However, we would like to ask more questions about your personal life Marinette, I mean if you and Anthony are not together do you have someone to your liking?" Leon asked.

My smile fades lightly as my brains goes to Anthony and Adrien's faces, I felt my heart flutter as I began to think of Anthony's smile and as for Adrien's it only beats as it did when I had a crush on him, unsure if I want to reveal my feelings I smile softly and nervously nod my head towards Leon.

"My heart is a bit confused of my own emotions; however, I do have a liking to someone, but I would like to keep that private," I mumbled.

"That's alright love we all know how confusing our hearts can be... another question many have asked is how do you Adrien Agreste, the famous model, that has captured many people's hearts? Hell, I'm curious how many more famous beautiful men you know?" Leon laughed.

"Doesn't Mari also know Luka? I heard that he only follows a few people close to him," Andre butted in.

Leon looks at me with an astonished expression "well how many bachelors are after you Marinette?"

I laugh nervously "Adrien is a classmate of mine and I met Luka because I am also really close to his younger sister Juleka which is also a classmate, by all means these boys do not have any interest in me."

"Adrien however comments on your photos on insta though-."

"It's simple thing many friends do," I cut off Andre.

"Sorry if we made you uncomfortable," Leon mumbled.

"I just don't like to spread gossip on my friends also Adrien has a girlfriend and honestly I'm not trying to cause trouble for them," I mumbled.

After a few more questions they handed me a simple light-colored dress as Chloe began to do my hair.

"God I can't believe they kept asking you those things, I mean how the hell didn't they tell that you looked uncomfortable?" Chole grumbled as we looked at the laptop, they handed us to look over the video since Chole was curious.

"I can tell with the way you kept playing with your fingers...," she sighed.

"It doesn't really matter though I mean, if I was a fan I would wonder as well," I mumbled.

"I understand fans can ask questions and all, but they don't have an obligation to ask things so personal or to even have knowledge without your consent," Chloe rolled her eye,

"I'm just saying they could've asked other questions then just about the boys- "

"They did ask about me Chloe," I laughed "look I understand they should've been a bit more considerate, but what's done is done I mean we can't do anything else except explain how to do better."

"... You're right, but I'm still not happy with them," she mumbled under breath.

"Okay," I giggled.

A knock came at the door "come in," Chole answered.

The door opens to Adrien wearing pink extensions and makeup that matched his outfit which was quite different than his normal style.

(Hello, first I would like for all of you to have an open mind to how I dressed Adrien for this Louis Vuitton photoshoot I put him in, for example models do change up their look for many of these shoots and that's all 😉 lets all have an open mind😊)

"You look like a Pink vampire," Chloe began to laugh.

"That-that doesn't even make sense," Adrien rolled his eyes and turned to me with a smile "I brought you some milk tea since you've been busy for the past hour."

"Thank you," I mumbled before taking the drink "how's work by the way?"

"Pretty hectic as you can tell," he chuckled and gave himself a turn "I just have one more look before I'm off, can I take you girls home after?" he asked.

"I was going to ask my dad, but you can take Marinette home for me," Chloe smiled down at me as my cheeks flush and turn my gaze away from Adrien's.

"Is that okay with you Marinette?" I nod softly and look up at him as he smiled at me.

"Adrien hurry let's go- and who is this beauty?" a woman walks into my room happily.

"I'm Chloe thank you for having such excellent eyes," Chloe flipped her hair as the lady laughed nervously.

"I meant the young lady that is getting her hair done...," she mumbled.

"This is my friend I was telling you about earlier, Marinette Dupain-Cheng, this is Isabel she is my photographer today," Adrien introduced us to one another.

"Are you free right now Ms. Dupain-Cheng?"

"Uh you can call me Marinette," I smiled "and I'm currently getting ready for my last photoshoot before waiting for Adrien to take me home."

"Perfect! I just got a call that the female model I hired to be with Adrien's photoshoot got caught up with something and won't be able to model for us today-."

"Elise cancelled?" Adrien asked confused.

"Yes, and now if you won't cut me off, I'm trying to fix the problem and ask your lovely friend if she can replace Elise so we won't have to redo the shoot and waste more money than we already have," Isabel said to Adrien sarcastically as Chloe laughed at Adrien's face who seemed embarrassed.

"So, Ms. Dupain-Cheng can you help us today?" Isabel turned to me with pleading eyes.

"Marinette, and yes just let me finish my interview, but what will I be doing exactly?" I asked.

"You well be playing as Adrien's lover in the photoshoot, quite easy if I say so myself, we have the dress ready and it seems like it will fit you and the makeup and hair look perfect, so we really won't have to change anything," Isabel smiled happily.

Adrien turns to me with his cheeks flushed as Chloe laughed once again "Adrien won't be able to do his work well since he sees you as just a friend."

I give Chloe a small glare and roll my eyes "I'll see you in a bit, okay?" I smiled at Adrien as he nods softly and walks out the room as well as Isabel.

I sat on the floor as Andre began to take photos of me in my dress as Chole cheered me on the side.

"Please I'm falling in love!" She chuckled as I smile lightly at her comment.

"Marinette?" I look up to see Leon standing there next to Adrien who was wearing a kind of see through long sleave t shirt with Isabel smiling happily behind them.

(Marinette in a different style<3,Adrien looked completely different since that art was done before I actually went on break :$ )

"I made such a good choice choosing you for today's shoot," she clapped her hands.

"Why is Adrien here?" I asked "I still have a few more questions right?"

"Yes ma'am, but we couldn't give up the opportunity to ask Adrien a few questions about you, I mean we will get more views and the boss will be extremely happy," Leon smiled.

Adrien didn't seem bothered but in full honesty I did, I didn't like the fact that Leon basically admitted that I wouldn't get as much attention as Adrien or Anthony, and he is using Adrien to please his boss. I mean I can't really be upset since this is how these things work, but at the same time I wish Leon would've asked first instead of just laying this on me out of nowhere.

"As long as Adrien is okay with it?" I mumbled.

I turn to Adrien who was staring at me with a blank face and his face as red as a tomato, "Adrien?" Once again, no answer.

"Hello Agreste!" Chloe yelled lightly to him as he started to blink quickly and turns away from my gaze.

"Sorry- wha-what was the question?" he asked.

"Leon wants to know if you want to come out in my interview, he'll ask you questions about me," I laughed lightly.

"S-sure... Let me just go sit down," Adrien gave me a nervous smile before sitting himself on the couch I once sat at.

"Well, we are done here you can head back with Leon to finish up the interview," Andre said.

I stand up and make my way to sit beside Adrien who still look flustered from before.

"Hey, you okay?" I asked concerned.

"Yup, j-just tired I g-guess," he laughed lightly.

"You don't have to do the questions if you're too tired, Leon asked enough," I mumbled.

"No, I want too I-I," he looks up at me nervously and I can feel my cheeks blush at the sudden change in the air "I need some air, I-I'll be back," Adrien quickly stood up and walked out the room before entering a few minutes later.

"So, Adrien how do you know Marinette?" Leon asked.

"We were classmates freshman year and half of sophomore year, and now senior year once again," Adrien smiled to the camera.

"Wow so you guys have been friends for a while now huh?" Leon laughed.

I look up at Adrien to see his reaction only to meet his eyes with a confused look "uh yeah... yeah we've been g-good fri-friends for a while," he stuttered out.

"Now can you tell me how Marinette acts, how do you see her in your perspective?"

"Well not to sound rude or anything but Marinette is a very shy and clumsy girl, actually when I was younger, I thought Marinette didn't like me because she would only stutter with me and always avoided me like I was the plague," Adrien laughed and looked at me once again.

"Now that I am older, I understand now that she was just shy towards new people."

"My I would've never guessed the almighty Marinette had a shy clumsy side like you just described," Leon chuckled.

"Yes, when looking back now I feel kind of horrible I thought of her in that small negative way, but then again that lead me to chase after her a few times to try to become closer with her."

"She actually made me something that I cherish and have with me by all times for my birthday," Adrien smiled happily.

I can feel myself begin to blush when I realize he was talking about the lucky charm I gifted him and began to fan myself from embarrassment.

"My! Is it alright for you to tell me what she made you?" Leon asked excited.

"It's actually a lucky charm bracelet, very thoughtful and amazing gift," Adrien smiled down at me with a warm gaze.

"So, what else do you know about Marinette? -"

"Uhm," I stand up quickly kind of tired of all these questions, as well as ashamed.

"It's getting pretty late, and I still have to help Adrien for his photoshoot so if you don't mind," I smiled softly towards Leon "you have enough footage and answers now, correct?"

Leon glances at Chloe who gave him a glare and a cold shoulder which instantly Made Leon nod to my question.

"Perfect! Now time for me myself and I," Isabel grabbed my hand and pulled me towards another room that was filled with more lights and staff.

"Okay! Everyone! Eyes on me! I would like to announce that sadly Elise had to take a day off today due to personal issues! However, we have found Marinette Dupain-Cheng who is a very close friend of Adrien, she will be replacing Elise's spot for today so everyone get ready to start shooting again once she walks out in the dress!" Isabel yelled out loud to the staff in the room as I bow lightly waving.

"Hello," I smiled.

"Okay now Landon take her to get the dress on and her friend," Isabel turns to Chloe.

"Her friend has a name, and the name is Chloe thank you very much," Chloe pushed her back in a sassy attitude.

"Well Chloe, I need you to touch up her makeup, the vibe of this photoshoot is forbidden love."

"How ironic huh?" Chloe whispers as she walks to me and laughs out loud.

"Please," I rolled my eyes at her.

"Okay done, now get your hot ass to the stage and make Adrien regret ever friend zoning you!" Chloe yelled as she dropped her makeup brush and turned to me with an excited grin.

"I don't need his attention Chloe, like I said before he owes me nothing as I don't owe him anything either," I mumbled and looked at myself in the mirror surprised at how captivating I looked.

"Geez... I look like a complete babe," I laughed.

"Ugh I know If Anthony was here, he would be drooling all over again," Chloe laughed lightly.

I felt my heart falter a little at the thought of Anthony.

"Can you take a picture of me so I can send it to him?" I smiled to Chloe.

She looked at me with a small frown on her lips and took my phone that was on the dresser where I was getting ready. "Of course, I wouldn't want him to miss this and get angry that only Adrien saw you in this beautiful gown," she patted my head softly.

"Thanks," I mumbled.

After a few photos we were called for the shooting, feeling nervous for some reason I fanned my face and looked down.

I walk out my small room and look up to the staff staring at me with a gaze that Anthony only looked at me with.

"Wow... Just- Wow- Jesus Adrien how can you never mention you had such a breathtaking friend?" Isabel gasped as she walks over to me and touches the lilac gown I was wearing.

"I-," I turn to Adrien who stared at me in complete shock and scratches the back of his neck embarrassed at our sudden eye contact. "You- M-Marinette you... You look beautiful," He whispered and turned away from me lightly.

"As do you," I smiled and blushed lightly.

I chuckle to myself thinking about my younger self, she would've had a heart attack with the simple compliment he gave me, I would be a nervous wreck for sure. I guess ever since I met Anthony, I have gotten used to getting this type of comments from him, and now he only gets a reaction out of face.

"This is the perfect couple for our forbidden love story we are trying to portray!" Isabel smiled happily "Adrien wearing the dark colors while the background is of a colorful flower meadow and Marinette looking like she was a fairy- no scratch that looking like the goddess that looks after the meadow!" She squealed in excitement.

"Now after gushing I need you to stand here and give me the look of-," She grabbed me softly and moved me in front of the camera "give me soft cute vibes, remember you are a goddess and I need that aura from you, pose in cute or flowy poses," she instructed only getting me confused a bit more.

"Fan on Now!" Isabel yelled and quickly a gush of air was blown onto my face.

I try to keep calm and turn around towards the camera and land a few poses that I made up in my head.

"Perfect! Just a few more and I'm going to need Adrien to hop in."

I do a few more and sit down on the floor as people began to throw flowers in my direction.

"Okay! Absolutely beautiful! Adrien sit behind her and hold her and move on from then," she ordered.

I felt myself tense up as I see Adrien look at me nervously as he walks towards me "may I?" he mumbled.

I nodded and he slowly slides behind me before posing himself, Isabel squeals and yells to add more facial expressions.

"Now I need Marinette to stand up with Adrien and hold on to one another and act like you are about to fall into temptation!"

Adrien holds out his hand to help me stand up, I grab onto it as I push myself off the ground as he pulls me up, I felt my body begin to tense up knowing what was coming next as he looks at me with a small nervous smile.

"I know this can be a bit uncomfortable if you want to stop, we can," Adrien smiled softly "you have no obligation to finish this."

"I'm okay," I mumbled as I grab hinds softly before placing them on my waist softly as I feel him stiffen up.

Isabel squeals and began to take more pictures, I move me head and keep my eyes off Adrien and breath out a nervous sigh "I swear this is just too perfect! Adrien look at Marinette with a smirk like you're planning something mischievous."

For some reason Adrien pulled me even closer than what we were already were and lowers his head to get closer to mine, I felt my cheeks flush at his actions. I feel his breath meet my nose as he stares at me with a confused gaze like before.

I thought my feelings for him were gone but for some reason I felt my heart skip a beat each time I felt his breath tickle my skin, I look down embarrassed and felt my legs beginning to feel like jelly.

Caught up with my own emotions Adrien calls my name softly.

"Marinette," he whispered.

I looked up only to see he has moved even closer and had a small smile on his lips.

"You are so beautiful," Adrien mumbled.

As I hear this my head begins to blur as remember Anthony always saying this to me...

And how I felt when he said that...

However...

My heart... Feels the same way...

Hello Lovelies!!! I posted a day late sorry about that I wanted to finish the art before showing you all this chapter.

Next Chapter I am thinking sad and depressing how about that? Hm?

Honestly love my new art style since ugh it just looks so cute I hoped you all like it :3
