1 An undeniable future

Damn! im going to be late again! The unassuming man slid straight into a work office meeting. His tie and clothing were greatly disheveled from his haste.

"Megumi, late again i see." An imposing aura pressed down on Megumi.

Megumi straightened his tie a bit and gulped. "It is a pleasure to greet the company president!" He bowed deeply. "I have a great new idea to invest in the company! We could have as much as 50% marketing profit!" Megumi tried to save himself.

Company Preisdent: "Hmph. I permit you to speak plebian."

President Taphune is no joke. Megumi began to sweat. He looked up fearfully at the domineering presence. it was only then that he finally realized who was sitting at the side of the esteemed President. It was currently the leading company of stenir enterprises. W-what?! Megumi paled. But they...are our leading competition...What are they doing here!?

Taphune grew impatient at the slack jawed idiot before him. "Speak."

Megumi began to shake. "Sir i have found out that people have begun investing huge amounts of time into a virtual reality game Called Hopper Springs. I-I think that if we too invest in it we will increase our stock exponentially."

Company president laughed coldy at Megumi. "There is no need. That is precisely why me and Company President Janine are teaming up to invest a huge amount of stock. You are a step too slow. We have already made an accord. You may leave if you have nothing else to say. You are no longer needed here. Now get out of my sight worm."

"W-what? Did i.....get fired? B-but I've worked here for over 60 years!" Megumi despaired. If i lose my job now then i will have nothing! All the privileges of the company! Even my home is part of the company....So they plan to take everything from me? What cruel Bastards! If only i had more time! He glanced at both presidents figures. They are both peak martial artists. I can't hope to match them in this life time. Megumi growled low in his throat. They would pay someday. "Karma always wins in the end,Doesnt it!" Those were the last enraged words of Megumi Ninse ,Marketing manager for Hakumi Enterprises, as he jumped out of the 50 story high building window.
