106 Psychopathic Fools

Pink Villa

Alice plopped down on the sofa in the living room the moment she entered. It was already dark outside. She didn't even switch on the lights. She pulled out the rubber band from her hair and they fell on her shoulder. She closed her eyes as an attempt to relax. Her tiredness overcame and she slowly fell asleep.

The moments her eyelids became heavy, a loud crash resonated in the living room. Alice sat up with a jump. She stood up and looked around.

"Oh hell! I haven't even switched on the lights", she went up and switched them on. The next moment, she rubbed her forehead thinking that she could even curse at such times. She snorted at herself before she pulled out a drawer from underneath the sofa. She found her life-long musket and loaded the bullets and adjusted the trigger. She took a deep breath. At least, she never dumped her shooting practices. She believed in her aims. She nervously bit her lips and slowly made her way to the entrance. She looked around and found nothing suspicious.

"Your back should be on the less suspicious side while your gun should be on your suspicious side. While your head should be in the middle and should glance between left and right", she remembered her trainee's words. She calmed down her deep breaths to stop making the least bit of sound. She gulped down when she sensed some movements from where the swimming pool was. Yeah, she had a swimming pool but found it irrelevant. She took baby steps with long strides. The invisible light bulb flashed on her head and she took out the phone to activate the security alert on her phone. The first three contacts would get a message that she was in danger, one of which included Daniel. She didn't remember the other two. She didn't care as long as her Danny boy was here.

She placed her fingers on the trigger like she was taught years ago.

"Try to be a professional, huh?"

Alice jumped from impact and turned around gasping.

"So? You dropped her home?" Daniel asked as she typed on his laptop.

"Yes, sir", Lin gave an empty nod, "But, there is one thing bothering the Miss."

"What is it?" unintentionally, a crease formed between his brows.

"A stalker. A celebrity stalker."

"What? When? Where? How?" His crease deepened.

"Sir, it was all about today. Here, she gave me this photo", Lin handed him his phone, "As she had said, I had checked all the CCTV footage and got substantial evidence for later."

"Hand me the footage" Daniel ordered as he transferred the photo in his laptop, "And arrange to get a printout of this guy."

"Will do", Lin nodded, "What next?"

"Arrange for the photos to be circulated among the defense sector and the public welfare sector."

"Sure, sir. Anything else?"

"Hmm", Daniel smacked his lips, "If possible, circulate that among the psychiatrists' community. Stalker needs counseling sometimes."

"Are you sure you want to do this, Sir? After all, it concerns about Madam."

"Whatever, sometimes they are psychopathic fools. We need to support them. So, that they can get back to normal life", Daniel spoke without lifting his head from the laptop screen.

"True indeed", Lin let out a sigh.

Just then, Daniel's phone blurted in a crazy tone, indicating a message. He unlocked it and what he saw made him stand up immediately.

"Lin, bring the car! Al is in danger!"

Lin was startled before he rushed out of the room followed by Daniel.
