1 Fan Girl of her Stupidity

"Miss Buds, may I know if you've really stolen Miss Brigand's lyrics? All the lyrics till now belongs to your best friend? Did you betray her?", reporters were swarming around her & the sea of flashing cameras blinded her eyes under the dark shadows of the concert hall.

Betray her? Huh! The girl's porcelain face was like the bottom of a pit. Her dark eyes were hidden behind the shadows. Her perfect jawline was twitching with anger. Her straight nose was flared. Alice was going berserk with all those types of questioning. No one from her agency came ahead for her PR. Not even her manager! Amidst the flood of reporters, a voice was raised, "Please clear a path for her. We'll provide an explanation later." Alice saw her manager from Starlet Super Media. She finally smiled. Hopefully, someone came for her rescue. Her manager, Jenny, a 40 something lady, wearing a thick pair of spectacles, pulled her by her arm & dragged her to their agency van where Rose, her best friend, Peach & Sofia, her teammates were standing. They're glaring daggers at her which was unknown to Alice. She smiled through tears & cried out in a low voice, "You finally came." She immediately hugged her manager. Seeing this, Rose narrowed her eyes while the other two glared furiously at them. Her manager pushed her away, "Look, Alice, your contract's still on for 2 years. Rose will officially take over the team. I know it's you, who created the group. You've had enough of your taste of fame. Since the scandal as already blown up too much, we'll announce your retreat. But, you'll be the lyricist of Bliss." Bliss, her own made girl band was being usurped by her best friend. Or her so-called best friend. She stared blankly in the dark while her tears dried up. Alice closed her eyes.

"Are you listening? Complete the lyrics! Now!", Rose's bickering was making Alice's ears deaf. Rose was someone known for her tenacious nature. Her thin lips were twitching into shapes & curves because of her continuous yelling.

Alice slowly opened her eyes. It's already a year since her so-called stealing scandal. 'Bliss' was still thriving with her lyrics while Rose, Peach & Sofia were stealing her limelight. Since last year she thought that she was just pushed to the edge & continued writing because of her love for 'Bliss'. But what she learned today, made her stop writing. And yet, they were pleading her to write since they'd an arranged fan concert coming soon. "It's better if they were in the acting industry", Alice thought to herself.

That morning, when Alice had gone up to submit her lyrics they needed, she heard Jenny & Rose argue about yesterday's fan concert at Star City.

"How can you be so childish, Rose? Why did you say that a new song will be released soon?", Jenny was furious.

"Why? Alice has always been so first in her writing. Why not this time?"

"Don't forget that you yourself released her scandal. If we pressurize, she might have a nervous breakdown again."

"Yeah, you're right. Don't worry. I won't pressurize her."

Alice supported herself on the nearby wall before walking back to her desk. The Alice Buds who created 'Bliss' with her own two hands was going to destroy it! She'll destroy them herself!

Alice opened her eyes, "Let me have some time. I'm having a headache."

Peach narrowed her eyes, "Take your time." Alice noticed the viciousness in the eyes of the girl whom she thought as kind & cheerful, before nodding & leaving. Sofia silently gritted her teeth which was also noticed by Alice for the first time.

Right now, Alice was sitting in her dark apartment floor provided by her agency. She didn't know how she reached here. She had been crying bitterly for an hour before a bitter smile crept into her face. She stood up & switched on the light. Then, she approached her Dad's smiling photo hanging on the wall. She wiped away her tears & said, "Dad, I promise I'll take back what's mine. 'Bliss' was the result of your dream & I was the torch bearer. You always said so, Dad, right?"

"Don't worry. I'll destroy what I created as a dream, but turned into hell."

"I'm sorry, Dad. But, I've to destroy 'Bliss'. I promise Dad I'll not back down without proving my innocence." Then, she glanced at the fresh draft of the lyrics before an evil grin flashed through her face. She was still working under Starlet Super Media but was publicly blacklisted by them. But for now, she needed rest.

The next morning

Alice woke up earlier than usual & opened her laptop to catch up with the hacking skills she'd learned for years. She stretched herself & her fingers flew across the keyboard. Within moments she hacked into the official website of BLISS. A smile lit her up. How foolish she was! She had been attending all the fun events of Bliss to notice people's reactions. That made her happy to call herself a fangirl. Actually, she must be the fangirl of her own stupidity! Not only that, she worked as the lyricist behind the scenes, she also was the assistant behind the fan events & concerts.
