50 The Reunion

Leaning on the tree, applauding. Tristan smirked wickedly at the scene of his brother plus the bloodshed. Each existence saw him along with his aura filled with hostility, and blood sends shivers. It was thick that the scantiest particles were visible flowing all over him. A pretty face that hid his arrogant and merciless grimace wearing a black robe-like upper attire that bared his chest. Tristan's piercing crimson eyes - unlike Lynx's alluring azure eyes - thin pinkish lips, and his perfect smile.

Their eyes met, Lynx's face darkened. Lynx hesitantly opened his mouth to utter but closed it back. Tristan's face beamed mockingly, "Isn't this a surprise." his deep cynical voice.

"Matthew Johnson Acker, Isn't it nice to see my brother?" Tristan added. "I heard you got your memories back. Is that true?" he asked innocently - innocently meaning, pretending to be - at his twin brother.

Keen observation, Myne realized that Tristan was able to utter Lynx's real name. 'Even those strong angels could not. Who is he?' his inner thoughts trembling.

Tristan tapped his brother's shoulder as he went past him towards Myne. He smiled with his blazing eyes of destruction. Visualizing the blood coming out of Myne was a dream come true. "Isn't this wonderful? The Oplius King and Tristan. Who would've known for us to meet in a place like this." he stated in a bitter expression.

"W-what are you talking about...?" Myne falters, retreating seldom steps away.

"Quite resilient, I see. If you admit your sins right now... I might forgive you." he smiled wickedly.

"I-I... I don't know you." he stood.

Lynx, still dumbfounded by the sight of his brother. Everyone stood still quietly, not moving an inch. Multiple emotions all-at-once flooded their minds. Terrified of dying, they remained silent, except for Ethaniel. Encountering his younger sib on his way to the den after retrieving all the conqueror's cultivation book. He was as well, tortured by Tristan's presence, but due to staying with him for several days, he grew less frightened and more used to his so-called heavy aura.

Ethaniel dove right past Lynx and held Tristan's shoulder, holding him off. Tristan motioned his head towards Ethaniel and gave a deadly glare. "Get that filthy hand off before I cut it." scornfully, he warned. Given by the face of Ethaniel, he seemed to be determined. Expecting to be listened to and obeyed, he got an annoying smile for a response.

"No." Ethaniel declared, never changing his mind. Adding a slight of authority in his tone.

"You are one heck of an annoying brother. Seems to me your way more annoying than George." Tristan sneered.

"Well, isn't that a surprise?" Ethaniel sneered back. Both smiling but giving tension between their eyes. As if lighting were separating their eyes.

"Where were you?" Lynx's face - still dark - he asked, disheartening.

Tristan stood up and moved towards Lynx. He forcefully pulled his shoulder, pulling his twin to face him. His eyes blazed with a worried expression. Forcing a smile to come out of his face. "I'm sorry."

Tears poured down Lynx's cheeks as his heartbreaks. "I was all alone. I was trapped in a lie. Why didn't you bring me with you, huh? Why'd you have to leave me back there-?" his tone wretched. Before he could add more questions, Tristan hugged him tightly, surrounding his younger brother the warmth he yearned for.

"I'm sorry," he repeated, eyes sad as if he was holding his tears back.

Lynx continued to cry. Tristan caressed his back, calming him down. Those who were watching saw something they thought was impossible - they have never imagined Lynx being soft - that dropped all their jaws. Ethaniel went towards the two and hugged both of them.

"I finally get to see you both together," he said sincerely.

Lynx covered his eyes and pushed Ethaniel away. "G-get away..." he commanded while weeping. Tristan caressed his younger twin's head.

"Now, who bullied my younger twin?" he teased.

"S-shut up..." he said, still weeping. Tristan pulled his brother's head and leaned it on his shoulder, letting him cry for a whole twenty-minutes. Lynx sniveled away from his twin's shoulder.

"Are you good now?" Tristan asked caringly. Lynx nodded. "That's good. Your hair grew..." he said.

"You two look exactly alike. No wonder why they say twins are rare." Ethaniel smiled. "Even with John's long hair and azure eyes, you two look the same."

Ethaniel smiled at the two of them and knelt. Without any reason, those who were around felt as if they needed to kneel, and so did the angels themselves were forced for no reason to kneel.

"Stand." the twins said in sync.

Proudly and joyously, Ethaniel stood up. He turned around to where the others were. "Let us celebrate this wonderful day at the sight of two emperors!" he announced happily.
