2 Nen

Amashla placed her left hand behind her back and gave us a thumbs up - she meant that it was safe - as I took back my hand from April's mouth.

"Why'd you have to cover my mouth?!" April pouts. I fought the urge to smile but failed.

"Now what? Why are you smiling, Matt?"

"Nothing. It's just that you look cute." I teased her.

I saw Ethaniel and my smiling face dispersed.

"I'll be going out for a bit. Take care of Brother, okay?" I asked April, and she nodded.

I waited for a minute before I looked around the outside before rushing towards my pathing. I had some paths that avoided Erial Guards or any camps that were laid out by those guards- I came into this pathway where it almost looks like a dead-end, but it wasn't. I found this place long ago after staying here for two years. A base that only I know of- or so I think. In the right corner of the wall, there is a mechanical or red stone material that lays around here in this corner with different unique mechanics. I just had to cut the rope beside it and stand on top of the wooden ground and leads me down.

Down to the depths, darkness engulfed my vision. It looked similar to when I had left it. Automatic lights that lit up right after detecting my presence- you'll see the door, inside this door is where you'll see the first room that's filled with bookshelves lining with each other to make a maze that I arranged myself. Of course, I was the only one who knew the ways to proceed towards my All-seeing Eye room.

Discovering this place was a complete coincidence. As of now, I haven't revealed the secrets this base has. The only information I got is that it has four rooms. Finishing the bookshelves maze, I went straight to the 'All-seeing Eye Room' to proceed with my spying. Coincidentally, this place had the same functions back at the estate. I have no idea how they obtained this, but it lets the user or the person who activates it see through the eyes of animals- almost like magic - cutting a small part on my finger for blood to flow, and I placed it inside a tube-like object that acts as energy.

"Amashla, I know being a Guide is troublesome, and you'd have to deal with lots of dangerous people. The only thing that's popping up in my mind is why you've become so fearless and work as a guide here in this Sea? And, specifically, this city!" Jason asked Amashla while looking at the sky.

"Jason, don't worry about me. I'm fine, and I'm enjoying myself as a guide. I passionately love this job." she explained to Jason.

The Guard stopped, "This is it. I knew I could count on you. It took minutes before arriving here." He chuckled for a moment and changed his face into a serious one filled with desperation."Say, join us, Amashla! Become a knight!"

"I appreciate your offer, Jason. But I have to decline." Amashla answered directly and so straightforward.

"Come on! Amongst our peers, you were the most talented and the known leader!" he insisted. dasdad

"I'm sorry, Jason. I have to disappoint you." Amashla gave out a long sigh.

"No, I'm sorry for trying to force you. Thank you again, Amashla." he handed out five gold coins and headed to his crew.

Amashla turned around and walked. A few seconds later, she drew out a knife and threw it at my device! She knew. I ran towards the maze and out of my base to go back to that house. It took a few minutes until I reach back home, panting.

I went on my knees, and there it was. Ethaniel's glares, shooting towards me.

I glared back, "Don't dare give me that stinking glares of yours!" I stood properly and wiped my sweat. "Anyways, what happened?" he asked, still wiping his sweat and panting.

"Oh, this? Don't worry too much, brother! I'm perfectly fine." He forced a smile,

"Perfectly?!" Atlita exclaimed. "You look like you're dying!" she cried.

"Atlita's right. What happened? Have you fought once again with those Erial Guards?" I knew that he would fight Erial guards since all of them are all over the place.

"Your right, they were increasing, and someone has to maintain balance around here. We can't let those fool run around all over the place." Ethan retorted although it was a lie.

Suddenly the door opened, "I'm back... Man! That was just EX-HAUS-TING!" Amashla went to the other couch and sat. I avoided eye contact and looked elsewhere. "Soon enough, not only Imperials will come here, but semi-guardians will also be here too. Let's hope Aces won't come." Amashla continued with a sigh.

"Amashla? Isn't it a perfect time to tell them already?" Ethaniel asked Amashla. That piqued my interest.

"Well, you're right, Ethan. I presume you guys have heard of Nen Noble Art?" Amashla stood up and smiled.

Nen Noble Art? What did she mean? Does she know? Wait, she knew?!

I was speechless, not being able to anticipate that this day would come. We were so careful about not revealing our second Identity. "Alibaba Nen? Atlita Nen? Ethaniel Nen?" She knew! How and why?! Yes, my 2nd full name is Alibaba Nen, and 3rd name is Jacob of Trash Sea. How did she know?

"I'm your aunt, of course, I'd know. I've known since you guys got here," she explained, putting a smirk on her face.

Still dumbfounded by what was happening, I did not move nor speak.
