A powerful being sat perplexed "Hrmm"

"Humanity has run a muck again!"

A gorgon appeared from the shadows "Shall I go reset them again? Or can I just destroy them altogether, I mean why did you even bother nurturing those filthy microbes!"

"Silence! You should remember your place you filthy demon!" The gorgon suddenly started running in a straight beeline for the exit and began to fly away. "I want him imprisoned for the foreseeable future." The being said visibly angered,

"Also I'm also tired of the humans not meeting status quo, therefore I have decided to active project fantasy." The small servant didn't flinch and responded "you will shall be fulfilled milord" meanwhile on earth humans have turned the air toxic most countries in ruins from the nuclear war, not even leaving the rich safe. In a slum someplace a boy who would have just finished high school in our time around 16 years of age. His name Oliver he like many others was slowly dying from the toxic waste which once was Earth, suddenly the air started to heal and buildings vanish leaving a world untouched by humans. Suddenly a voice rung out "leave you vile creations in the past they are useless here. Instead strengthen your body's to defeat the creatures around you, you should have noticed you now but your bodies have changed." Everyone looked confused especially Oliver when suddenly "aghhh!" A person across from him started to transform into a beast! The man shored back to his normal form and continued to listen. The ominous voice continued "as you all just saw someone near you transformed into some kind of beast. Never fear for you can too." Suddenly an antagonising pain welled up inside. Oliver could hear his bones break and reset until the pain stopped, a moment later he was himself again? "As I said strengthen your bodies and you'll gain power unimaginable strength that is unobtainable through you old crude methods! There is a system in place to guide you however it's more of a Notification Center. It's able to record info but it's not some novel where it's gives exp and missions. For example it will give your throwing skill a level but to level it up your mastery must actually improve you can't just keep throwing and then gain knowledge from a skill level up." Everybody was mostly stuck at the part where humans turned into beasts! "Hey what happened to the world" someone in the crowd suddenly said "*huff* can't you tell we reset it so life could be sustained. Oh and by the way we can destroy this planet with a sneeze so don't be stupid and restart science." Then the voice stopped speaking and no noise was heard across the plant for about 3 minutes whilst everyone tried to fathom what had just happened, whilst this was happening the servant who just finished the announcement was currently breaking off the limbs of the gorgon and removing its eyes and throat before stating "by the time this has healed I would already have you locked up in the black hole for your foreseeable future you scum!"

Back on earth everything had clicked as instead of panic most decided to pray to these mysterious figures thanking them for removing they're sins. However those in power had long been executed and the world renamed the slums there was no status as everyone believed they were done for. Oliver was one of the first to realise this problem and that there was now a power vacuum that was about to ignite war for dominance. Oliver remembered there was a system and decided to try and summon it "status" suddenly a scene showed up stating:
