Chapter 11

Dominic's POV

Wednesday morning

I don't think I have been this excited in all my decades of living. The plan to eliminate the Lycans is finally coming to pass slowly.

I was lucky to get two of the most talented group of hunters in Northern America; Night Watch and The Anti-Werewolf clan despite the fact that Christmas was only three days away.

Today I would tell them all about my plans and I'm very sure that they would be on the same board with me because I found out that they too have been keeping an eye open for Lycans as they are very unique specie of werewolves.

If we can collaborate and strike a deal today my plan to evacuate the Lycans will speed up.

Speaking of Lycans I haven't heard from a certain lycan I keep with me. That boy just likes to test me I think to myself as I put the finishing touches to the grey suit I'm donning.

I'm going to have to punish him for disobeying me. I requested that the files be brought to me yesterday but till now I haven't seen any sign of the document or him.

I mind link one of the pack's omega to bring in my breakfast. Few minutes later there's a knock on the door I say 'Come in' and a tall brunette comes into the room pushing a trolley in front of her.

"Good morning Alpha" she greets me as she also bows her head to me as a sign of respect.

"Morning Alice"

She doesn't look up at me as she sets the plates on the table I'm sitting in right in front of a floor length window that shows the view of the entire pack covered in snow as it stretches on for miles, people are still outside though children playing with snow.

The cold is nothing to us as our body is warm enough from all the activities we do.

Even though I'm not the rightful Alpha of the pack I couldn't help but just praise myself I mean we are the largest and richest pack in northern America. I don't think some Lycan could handle it better than me.

As long as I live and even after my death I would do everything to make sure that some lycan who isn't even worthy of life will become Alpha of this pack; The Red Wolves.

Once I get my hands on the rest of these lycans who have done nothing to deserve such a gift from the moon goddess they will know exactly how evil I am.

Maybe I might even punish Asher with those of his kind with that thought in mind I take a sip of my black coffee.

When I glance around my room I noticed that the omega has gone out of the room. I guess I was so consumed by my thoughts that I didn't notice her leave the room.

I hear a knock on the door and few seconds later my beta is by my side.

"Alpha your visitors are here" my beta Zachary Lin says from beside as he stands with his hands behind his back.

"Good" I pause to take a sip from my coffee."Lead them to my office in the north wing on the third floor". I say coolly.

"Yes Alpha." My beta says bowing his head before leaving.

Maybe I might even leave him the pack when I'm no more I think.

Ten minutes later I open my office door to find the hunters and Zach keeping them company.

They all look up at me on my arrival.

"Good morning my amiable guests" I greet them as cheerily as I can.

None of them respond only a black haired lady whose hair is tied into a high ponytail as I have come to recognize her as the assistant to Boss Duke the leader of the Anti-werewolf clan responds with a neutral morning.

"Morning."

"I'm sorry if I kept you waiting. You know its not so easy to run a pack this size" I say almost nervously as I walk over to my desk which Zach stands beside with a stoic expression on his youthful face.

On the right side of my overly spacious office seated are Crazy Jack and his assistant of the Night Watch group.

Crazy Jack what a weird name but considering his tales of torturing and killing wolves it suits him just fine.

The young man should be in his late thirties. He has a comical appearance with his black hair with spikes that look like it can do some serious injury to someone, and several piercings on his ears and eyebrows.

Beside him is his assistant Tony Cooke, he looks like a scrawny teenager with the pen and notebook his crutching with his glasses that he keeps adjusting on his nose, but I know better than to judge someone by their appearance.

Through my research I've found out that Tony is indeed a mastermind and is talented with the use of knives or any other sharp weapon.

To the opposite of the young men are seated Boss Duke the Leader of the Anti-werewolf clan and his black haired assistant Hilary Sharp.

I had them thoroughly checked before they could even pass the pack's border. So they could not try anything funny during the course of this meeting and after.

"I'm so glad that you could honor my invitation" I say leaning forward on my oak desk.

"Its our pleasure" Tony says adjusting his glasses once again.

"Well let's dive into business" I reply then adding "please help yourselves" I said gesturing to the coffee table filled with finger foods, appetizers, juice and coffee.

"We aren't here for the food I suggest you start talking" Boss Duke replies gruffly.

"Speak for yourself old man" Crazy Jack says which earns him a glare from both Duke and his assistant. He either notices their glare or just plain ignores them because he reaches for a croissant, chews on it loudly looking right at them.

"Okay then" I say .

"I believe that we all know why we are here. The draft I sent to your emails explains most of it actually. The thing is that we are all humans permit me to say I am part human but that doesn't stop us because we are likeminded people and we have the same goal which is to eliminate the Lycans from the face of the earth.

As we know Lycans haven't been spotted on the face of the Earth for centuries but they were last seen in Europe before the war between werewolves, hunters and the lycans, that has now reduced their species drastically, now some might even think they are no more but I refuse to believe that because I know that they are all in hiding somewhere.

That's where my problem lies...I just don't know where but let me say I have a hunch that they are still alive...." I explain to them before I was rudely cut off by Tony, Crazy Jacks assistant.

"How can you just have a hunch, are you joking with us or something?" he asks clearly annoyed.

"I agree with the kid, you can't just decide to plan something big like this with a hunch, you are basically standing on nothing" Hilary says crossing her legs at the knees.

"I'm aware of that" I said with clenched teeth.

"I ha....".  I say before I was cut off again.

"They are both right, you have to have a lead that can open up to something" Jack says taking a lighter from his pocket to light the cigarette in his mouth.

"If you wo....."

"I'm starting to think you just called us here to make a fool of yourself. We are hunters not clowns we do not plan things like this based on a mere hunch".Boss Duke said angrily cutting me off.

"I totally agree" Hilary says looking disinterested by the second.

"If you would just let me explain myself" I clench my teeth and say a little loudly so that I have their attention once again.

"Its just a hunch right, but you have forgotten that it has two sides. I would like us to lean away from the negative side and put our minds in the positive."

"Over the years I have gone on intense research on this same topic of lycans. And I myself have come to the conclusion that they are in Northern America"  I said which earned me a few unbelievable looks.

"How d.....". Tony asks before I cut him off this time.

"I have a few proofs that can help us." I said looking at each of their faces.

"Go on then" Jack replies a puff of smoke coming out of his mouth.

"Every month there is a very bulky order of supply, large enough to feed a pack of lycans. I have tracked down this movement to find out that these supplies are anonymously paid for and I have even had my men track down this movement. From there I found out that these trucks full of supplies often go into the north woods." What I say surprises them because they all sit up straight in their seats.

"Are you for real" Crazy jack says before adding "what if it's just some crazy camp going in there."

"Crazy camp in that dense forest I don't think so" Hilary retorts.

"I mean it makes sense now. Though considering the large amount of animals who lives there it is just the perfect place for a Lycan to reside, the weather conditions are fine enough and the forest is so dense you will need a torchlight to walk through them" Tony says thoughtfully.

"Maybe you aren't a fool after all" Boss Duke said chuckling.

"But the thing is that we know that these trucks can't go into the forests because of the swamps and trees. Somehow they managed to get their supplies without my men knowing and the only thing they found was empty trucks and humans" I said smugly.

"Wow I didn't think you did your homework that well" Boss Duke snickers.

"How did they just disappear?" Tony asks.

"To this day we have no idea, it might be some kind of tech they are using or supernatural powers" I answer.

"What other proofs do you have" Boss Duke asks.

"I also found out that there is a pack in Europe who might know the whereabouts of the lycans in question" I answer him.

"This is where I will need your help I will need you guys to infiltrate the Alpha and Luna of that pack. But before I continue I would like us put this into a non-disclosure agreement and then we can go ahead to strike a deal" I say looking at them.

"What's in it for us?" Hilary asks looking at me.

"Well there will be a payment of 500 thousand dollars for each of you, it will be paid whenever you do a certain task but I will give you an advance of 100 thousand dollars for going into this deal with me." I say, they clearly didn't expect that much because they look quite surprised.

"You can have a quick chat with your partners before we conclude this meeting" I say as they look over at each other and start whispering.

I smell him before I can see him and Zach seems to notice because he asks me whether I should tell him to go away but I tell him its okay.

Right on cue a knock is heard at the door which causes heads to turn at the door at the sound. I say come in and Asher walks inside closing the door gently behind him.

"Sorry for interrupting I wanted to drop these" Asher says clearly gaining the attention of everyone.

"Didn't you know I was in the middle of an important meeting?" I asked through gritted teeth and giving him the look which clearly read 'what the hell is wrong with you.'

He replies "No" giving me a look that was supposed to be innocent.

I did not have time for his shenanigans right now but I'll make sure to deal with him later.

"Just go I'll get back to you later" I say giving him one of my infamous smirks.

Without another word from him he lets himself out closing the door behind him.

A few minutes later Boss Duke clears his throat which draws my attention from the documents I'm looking through.

"We have all come to a conclusion" He says.

"We accept your agreement" Boss Duke says as a grin blooms on my face.

Thank Goodness!

"Very well then, I assure that they will be no problems and before you reach your various homes you will receive your advance payments."

"Nice" Crazy Jacks smirks rubbing the butt of the cigarette he's been smoking on the armchair of my seat.

Does this guy realize he's making a hole in my seat, I think to myself.

"Its a deal"

Few minutes later the contract is signed and each party kept to the agreement stated in the contract.

They left immediately after that with me promising to keep them updated and when to tell them to strike.

I was beyond elated, I couldn't wait to go on through with the plan but there was something I had to do a certain disobedient someone that might just be his early Christmas gift.
