CHAPTER 2 MOONLIGHT

Kado was in the process of transformation and a soft but firm hand grabbed him and pinned him to the floor.

'You don't need to do that!

Kado growled more louder and kicked him. Thawn was thrown across and he landed on his feet.

'I am your Alpha! Thawn growled with his eyes shining red 

Kado growling stopped and he shivered.Yet he sneered

'You despise me alot,Thawn said.

'Well,maybe that's because you don't know your role as an Alpha.One of your pack was killed,and till now you have no plans of retaliating back!

'If we go to attack,we aren't strong enough to defeat them! It will end up in more casualties'

'I don't care! Phem was like a brother to me! I wouldn't just let him die like that.Just tell me you have a plan!

'I do.but we need to be careful,Thawn smiled showing his long canines.

'So, endeavor to finish the project given to you by the time duration allocated,the teacher said as he turned to go then he looked back

'Dont forget this is a special project,he said finally going out of the class.

'I am nearly through with it,what about you Max?

'I haven't started,he said in gritted teeth.

'Are you still in pain from the slap',Sam asked.

'what else will I be in pain for?,Max clenched his fist

'We will get through this okay'

'Something happened here,a fight',a middle aged looking man said grabbing the grass which had dried blood on it.

'It doesn't justify that it can be anything out of the natural,Luke said not looking at his father. 'Maybe you are being paranoid okay,when will we be done with this crap?

Grey was about to speak but he saw a traces of blood dropping leading to a way,'Well,maybe', he said going after the traces.

Luke hated to say it but his dad was paranoid but his hunch wasn't always wrong.Still yet he still wished he could let go of things easily. They both got to where the trail of blood ended.

'One of them was severely injured,and based on the look of things it's as if it's even dead as we speak'.

'Dead?,Luke asked. He nodded.'Dead is good,he thought.

'When you get to school,protect your sister and don't go into the woods alone or with out any weapon in school'.

'I'd prefer you to tell me to carry heavy arms to school just to protect her',Luke whined.

'Its not that am born to be paranoid, situations made me.You know since your mother died,I made a vow that I will hunt them till I die',Grey said sadly.

Luke couldn't forget too,his mother was killed by a werewolf and he wasn't there to save his mum. He too secretly was a paranoid even worse than his father but he just tried to make things light by pretending not to think of them.

'We need to go back son',His dad said. I hope am wrong but if am right something must be up in soon'.

Luke understood and he just looked far away....

'Are you okay?Aldor asked Max.

'Am fine Dad',he sniffed and tried to hide his face.

'Were you hit again? I told you to change your school since you didn't want me to come and deal with whoever is doing this to you! Grey was angry 

'Its okay dad,I can handle myself,you need to go and sleep' Max tried to be fine. After much pressuring,His dad finally left. Max sank into his bed and looked at the ceiling wondering when he could ever get out of the mess he's in. Then he heard a little groan in the garden not far from his window,he opened his window looking for whoever is that making the sound but he couldn't see. He closed the window but his mind wasn't at rest,he thought of telling his dad. He shrugged the thought off and opened the window again,he jumped out and with his phone as flashlight he traced the sound and it keeps getting him farer into the woods pass the garden where he first heard the sound.. Then he saw a figure lying on the ground in a pool of blood,he saw that it was human. He rushed over and held the man.

'Hey,don't die on me man.Let me get you to a nearby hospital,he said panickly then he stretched his arm to lift the man. Suddenly the man grabbed it and his eyes shone red

Max tried to scream but air escaped his lungs and he tried to free himself then the man sunk his long canines into his flesh and Max cried in pain cursing the man and finally freed his arm running away from him then the Moon shone brightly.
