Lex was unable to react to the blow, 'He's gotten quicker!' He thought as he spat out blood.

Lex's chest piece was destroyed and time felt as if it was moving in slow motion. 'I thought I came to this world as a second chance...' Lex's empty mind thought as he fell towards the ground.

His whole body started going limp giving into what seemed to be his fate, his vision was slowly blurring.

Lex's body soon hit the ground, his head hit the stone bricks, bouncing off causing him to bleed out of his ears.

'I guess it's over, I'm going to die.' Lex thought as he felt his eyes almost burst out into tears, he was given a chance at life but he still managed to fail.

Bones looked towards Lex with killing intent, 'You fought well for a coward.' Bones said as his red-coated body slowly faded and became ashen again. Lex's eyes remained barely open as he watched the change in Bones' appearance happen.

The change was so significant that the greatsword he wielded was now extremely difficult to carry, yet, strike with. This gave Lex an exorbitant amount of hope.

'HIS ENRAGE WORE OFF!' Lex thought as he forced his body to move.

Lex threw his body to the side and rolled across the floor causing Bones' strike to miss him. Lex proceeded to attempt to get up from a push-up position only for his hand to slip causing him to fall face-first into the ground.

'DAMN IT, MOVE!' Lex cursed as he pushed himself off the floor, he needed to move quickly otherwise this really would be his fate.

"Move, Puppy, Move."

Lex heard this deep voice that echoes around his head, if he had heard this in any other situation he would have frozen, and he almost did. However, he needed to survive Lex's body almost felt lighter, as if the voice gave him enough power to keep going.

Lex gritted his teeth seemingly as hard as the handles on the shortswords that he was fumbling to keep in place not too long ago, Lex dashed towards Bones one more time, kicking him in the ribs causing Bones to lose his balance whilst swinging his sword.

Lex jumped on top of Bones' ribcage now that he was laying on the ground, he slashed away at his neck with sparks and bits of Bones' ashen bone flew left and right as Lex's shortswords mercilessly slashed away.

Lex's mind only echoes one thing

'DIE!'

The shortswords he was using slowly cracked even more with each contact, Lex threw his body backwards, holding the handles of the shortswords tightly Lex threw his body forwards into Bones.

Lex dug the shortswords deep into the void of Bones' eyesockets, his weapons shattering from the impact so that the hilt of his shortswords cracked Bones' eyesockets.

'DIE!' Lex inwardly yelled as he grabbed a nearby piece of brick.

Lex proceeded to slam the rock into Bones' skull until he heard a message.

'Evolve? Am I not Human??' Lex thought whilst looking at this message. Demi-Human players would usually talk about how key evolution was for their kind, it always was a massive boost in their stats.

Although, those players would usually start out as a Demi-Human and would usually choose their evolution path.

'I don't think that this thing would harm me, or if it even can. I need to evolve, otherwise, I will die.'

Lex thought to himself before pressing the Yes button.
