79 Changing the Rules

Shiba and Eini didn't know anything about the conversation that Lina had with her father, nor about their fates.

Once Shiba let Eini on the floor again, she gave up on the battle.

There was no way she would fight Shiba seriously, and their plan was to have Shiba catch the attention of the academy, so it was important that Shiba managed to fight against the students at Rank 3.

Eini also wanted to test herself against the students at Rank 3, but she felt that since only one of them could fight there, it was better if Shiba did it as they originally planned.

"The champion of the Rank 2 competition is Shiba!"

The principal announced it like if that had been the result of a though battle, but Shiba had been exceptional in the previous combats, so most people didn't mind.

"I will be joining the Rank 3 competition using my rights as the winner of the Rank 2 competition."
