Afterword

Everyone, thank you for reading LWS: Liye's Legacy.

If you finished the novel, I hope you liked it.

If you have yet to read this novel, I hope you will like it.

As with my previous Afterword, since I don't know if someone is reading this before starting to read the novel, I will avoid making spoilers of the novel here. I will also avoid spoiling Last Wish System.

You can read them in whatever order you like. Although this one comes first chronologically, the other one was written first, and it is highly recommended to finish Last Wish System volume 14 before reaching LWS: Liye's Legacy volume 9. The story can be understood anyway, but you will enjoy it more in that way as volume 9 of LWS: Liye's Legacy spoils way too much of Last Wish System pre-volume 15.

Both novels spoil somewhat the other, but if you want to avoid as many spoilers as possible to find the perfect order to enjoy unspoiled, I have a recommendation, but it may be a bit complicated, so I recommend this only if you are a perfectionist.

Start with the first 300 hundred chapters of Last Wish System and then come back here until finishing volume 8 of this one. Then, return to read Last Wish System until finish volume 14. You can safely finish LWS: Liye's Legacy and return to finish Last Wish System after having finished this one.

Returning to the topic of this novel. LWS: Liye's Legacy has been shorter than I expected at the beginning. I planned to be about a half of Last Wish System, but it ended up somewhat shorter.

However, it is a prequel, and the end of this one is the beginning of the other one, no way to drag it on, and I don't like to extend the content meaninglessly.

Maybe I could have expanded some parts in-between to make it longer, but needing to write and publish on a daily basis, that is difficult a lot of times, and let's say the truth, the pandemic hadn't helped at all. The important parts are all written, obviously, and I bet those following the releases day by day had been happy that I hadn't lost any time since I only published one chapter per day, but I still get the feeling that there are some adventures I could have added if given enough time.

For the next novel, I am taking a lot of time before starting to publish. Why? Exactly for what I wrote previously. I want to write what I want to write without being forced to publish every day, which sometimes closes the gate to add something after having advanced due to not being inspired enough at the release date.

It is not like the inspiration is linear. A lot of times, I am inspired by something I can't write because I need to write something else, and I hope to solve this by having a lot written before starting to publish.

This also means that the release rate for future novels will be higher. I really think that one chapter per day, like it has been on this one, is too little, but I couldn't promise more with how I have been writing just before publishing. I write far faster without that restraint.

I currently have plans for two other novels.

One happens even before this one. Before the universe where this novel and Last Wish System happens was created. Thus, it won't be so directly connected like this one and Last Wish System, although there are still some shared major characters. The setting is very different to these two, as it will be a world with developed science and technology but with also fantasy settings.

The other one is planned to happen after Last Wish System, but all the major characters will be new. Some old characters will make some cameos, but the focus of the story would be the new characters. The place where this story would happen doesn't exist yet in any of the other novels, so the context and worldbuilding would be completely different.

If you want to follow details, you can either follow me on the Twitter account I just made for this purpose @Alemillach_LWS or on the Discord Server, which I recommend since I am more used to it, and I don't know if I will remember to use the Twitter...

I am always open to hearing your opinions and suggestions. I have my plans when it comes to writing, but a lot of things aren't set in stone.

This Afterword became slightly longer than the previous one, but I just wrote what I thought I needed to write. Sorry if it was too long!

Again, thank you, everyone, for reading LWS: Liye's Legacy and Last Wish System. I hope to see you again reading my next projects.
