7 Invitation and acknowledgement

As the lively party continued, a stunningly beautiful young girl arrived at Hannah and Kayden's place. She was accompanied by a strikingly handsome man, who seemed to radiate confidence and charm. "Kayden, that's my cousin Juniper," Hannah announced with a smile.

Juniper was a vision of beauty, her features rivaling those of Hannah herself. She was dressed in a light blue cocktail dress that perfectly complimented her porcelain skin. And by her side stood her boyfriend, Bobby Kentt, the heir of the prestigious Kentt family. At 6'4 tall with a muscular build, Bobby commanded attention wherever he went.

"Hello cousin Hannah, how have you been?" Juniper greeted with a warm smile.

"I've been well. And yourself?" Hannah replied, glancing over at Bobby. "I see that you have tied the knot with the Kentt family. Congratulations."

Juniper beamed proudly. "Thank you. And I also see that you have brought a handsome man by your side." She directed her gaze towards Kayden. "My name is Juniper, it's a pleasure to meet you."

Kayden extended his hand with a warm smile and introduced himself to Hannah. Her gaze was guarded as she replied with a cool, "Well, what do you want?" Kayden took a deep breath before answering, "I was planning on having a pre-wedding party, and I came to invite you and Hannah if you are willing to come?" Hannah turned to Kayden and asked, "When?" He hesitated for a moment before answering, "Ten days from now at the Kentt resort." Hannah nodded in understanding as Kayden continued, "Thank you for the invitation." Just then, Bobby, who had been silent the whole time, spoke up. "I heard from Tyler that he found out you have aura, which is extremely rare." This news surprised both Juniper and Hannah, who were sitting beside each other. Kayden simply shrugged nonchalantly. "Indeed, but I am lacking in comparison." Bobby's eyes lit up as he looked at Kayden with interest. "In that case, I would like to invite you to a martial arts gathering. I believe the details inside this envelope will pique your interest. And on top of that, I would like to extend an invitation for you to join my team with Tyler. We are currently lacking one more member, but I can guarantee a marvelous reward if we win." Juniper and Hannah were stunned by Bobby's offer. Juniper never anticipated him to personally hand Kayden such an invitation, which only allowed talented geniuses of their generation to attend. But something about Bobby's confidence made her believe that this was a genuine opportunity for Kayden.

Kayden's lips curved into a thoughtful frown as he considered the invitation. "Mmm, I will get back to you," he finally said, his voice low and measured. "Very well, but if you wish to join, you should contact me again in three days' time."

Bobby and Juniper exchanged a glance before leaving, leaving Kayden alone with Hannah.

"Tell me, Hannah," Kayden began, turning to her with a curious expression. "Do you know anything about this gathering?"

Hannah nodded her head slowly, her brow furrowed in concentration. "Well, I've heard from my father that this gathering is meant to test the geniuses of our generation on their martial capabilities. And after Bobby told me that you possess aura, I was just as speechless as he was. Now I understand why my grandpa holds you in such high regard – this gathering is a rare opportunity indeed. Even the aristocratic families and secret societies will be in attendance."

Kayden's eyes widened in surprise at the mention of secret societies. "Now I see," he murmured.

Hannah leaned in closer, her voice dropping even lower. "I also heard that the top placing participant will receive an invitation to join the secret society. That's all I know."

"Secret society?" Kayden repeated, his curiosity piqued even further by the mysterious organization.
