'How we'll get out of this? As Zhi Rui stood up she saw Hilda frozen.

Hilda looked at Zhi Rui's eyes "W-We must escape."

Zhi Rui herself was scared, but she knew, in front of a rank three, their chance of escaping was small.

So they need to concentrate. Zhi Rui inhaled deeply

"Oops I talked to much." The level three bastard spoke playfully.

As the carriage started to gain speed, Izaya saw the guard started running with the carriage and clicked his tongue 'He wants to play'

But he didn't move from the place, his daughter is inside the carriage he has to do everything to protect it.

Zhun Xuying who was white as snow was trying to gain more speed, she couldn't concentrate on anything else.

Zhi Rui stood up like Izaya althought she could barely keep her balance. She laughed out loud.

"Indeed I thought that we were going away in tranquility, who'd have thought a clown would appear to send us off!"

the Rank three guard's scrunched at Zhi Rui's remark.

Zhi Rui put on a somber smile and looked at her side.

"Hilda, keep calm, this carriage will gain even more speed and that guy will make sure we don't get away, if we hold him off until we get out of the forest we'll be fine. Use your crossbow. You, Beastman slave. Make sure to keep him off this carriage."

Izaya was startled by the command he looked behind and only saw the same expression she had when they were negotiating his heart calmed down. 'With this crazy woman, maybe we can live.'

With a punch, Zhi Rui opened a whole on the ceiling. "Xuying go down there and give me a slave."

Zhun Xuying blindly followed the commands, she ignored everything else, she knew the animals wouldn't stray the carriage from the narrow path.

The level three guard was jumping around having his fun, suddenly he swiftly waves is arms

she only saw shards of ice falling on the top of the carriage.

With a grunt, Izaya threw a broken ice spike to the side.

The man just laughed.

Hilda looked at the deep cut on Izaya's arm and paled. 'A casual wave from a rank three, can do this much damage to a prepared rank two?'

Zhi Rui smiled at the man "Hilda!"

Hilda reacted automaticly at the call and shot a bolt at the enemy

The man saw it coming and smiled lightly sidesteping

"oy, oy you shouldn't throw things like this around you know."

Zhi Rui eyes shone brightly.

When the man thought he evaded it a sharp pain came in his shoulder.

"ugh! what is this? the man looked at his torn uniform and injured shoulder, just now he clearly evaded. How come it suddenly hit him!?

He looked at the girl beside a hole in the carriage with her head raised 'An illusion type' he stopped fooling around."If you don't want to die, just leave the carriage behind and go away, I won't pursue this."

Zhi Rui looked at the man with a smirk, she got a hold of a slave and looked looked at Hilda, they both understood.

"Since you refuse, then I have to take it myself"

The man jumped forward, Izaya ignored the pain and stood forward to face off against the guard.

Hilda prepared another bolt and took aim, Zhi Rui screamed "FIRE!"

The man looked at the crossbow instantly. Yet the attack didn't come, he looked up, but it was too late a body fell right in front of him he had to jump backward, with that speed he would be knocked unconcious if he tried to meet it with force.

Zh Rui saw they delayed him for a while but it wasn't enough

She reached out for her pouch and gave one pallet to Izaya he would be the main force defending the carriage.

looking back they were still halfway before getting out of the forest, the man came running madly trying to catch up. The man lost his patience "fine if one won't do it, how about one more?!"

With a whizz, two spikes come to them, with their speed, it was possible to see it coming this time, Izaya deflect it albeit with injuries

Soon spikes o ice rained down on them, but as the carriage got faster it turned less and less efective.

Hilda kept harassing with arrows Zhi Rui kept distorting their positions on top of the carriage but the man evaded it at hair's distance. The carriage was suffering too much damage.

sweat was pouring out of their faces

Izaya looked at Zhi Rui, "I can transform, but it'll be for a very short time."

Zhi Rui formulated a plan and with madness written on her face she nodded him.

Izaya started, The veins of his eyes grew large, you could see every muscle pumping on his body.

Hilda could not see what was happening behind her,she was shooting at the man trying to keep him busy

Suddenly Izaya looked ahead his muscles had veins showing all over them"one move" he grumbled.

Zhi Rui did not need more than this, she gave him her heavy mace.

"Hilda shoot as much as arrows as possible." she added.

Zhi Rui used the most of her remaining energy to distort the area around Izaya. She looked at Zhun Xuying inside the carriage "At my signal you stop this, understood? "

Zhun Xuying nodded, and ran to the driver's seat. "Young miss, if I die, know that I died cursing you."

she said hurring away.

Zhi Rui just smirked, "As long as I'm as alive, the number of grudges won't bother me."

Zhi Rui gave three unconscious slaves to Izaya who used them as a shield. The man running at two hundred kilometers per hour sped up even more, When he reached top speed he was five meter away from the carriage. Zhi Rui looked at Izaya, he nodded

She threw the slaves at the guard's foot, he jumped the obstacle.

Zhi Rui saw him in midair held firmly on the carriage and screamed: "Now Xuying!"

Zhun Xuying pulled the reign strongly making the white elk stop abruptly

When the man understood what happened he was too close to the carriage.

Hilda jumped before the carriage stopped, leaving only Izaya to meet the man head on.

With the inertia at his back and the level three Guard coming with total speed, Izaya put every ounce of strength he could muster and swung it the mace at the incoming man.

"Shield!" the man screamed. Ice formed in front of him.

The sound of breaking ice and a weird thumps. was the last thing Izaya heard.

Hilda fell rolling on the ground, She lied there, the smell of dust, the taste of iron in her mouth and the absurd pain in her legs showed Hilda she was still alive. She tried to open her eyes.

She looked at her left.

Her eyes opened wide in shock.

Izaya was unconscious on the ground it looked like a group of beasts had run over him.

She grew restless trying to look all around him when a hand held her head.

"The enemy is dead, no need to worry."

Hilda looked at Zhi Rui's face right above hers.

Zhi Rui smiled with mirth, she put a pallet between her lips and slowly neared Hilda's.

Hilda, opened her eyes wide but when it was about to touch, Zhi Rui just opened her mouth and the pallet dropped on hilda's ready to kiss lips.

"Haha, after you bit my mouth I won't let you taste me so easy."

Zhi Rui looked at the scene around her, it was chaos, corpses dust and ice all around.

but she finally felt... secured.
