61 Selection Starts

The two girls went back to their place. The others saw their good mood and Liu Yang decided to approach them.

"What happened to you two? Looks like both of you had fun since you two are in a good mood." Liu Yang asked.

Xiao Yan brightly smiled, "Mu Yue was adopted by the principal as his daughter. Then I managed to tri- convince him to let Mu Yue get married to me when we are at the right age."

Mu Yue's happy expression crumbled to that of a shock. 'Why did she include the marriage part?!'

"Congratulations on getting her father's approval." Liu Yang said as she observes the pair. She then asks, "Since I got curious, I might as well ask. What made you two to fall in love with each other?"

"I like hugging Mu Yue every night. Then slowly I fell in love with her when we were together. Her cuteness is also another reason." Explained Xiao Yan which made Mu Yue blush.

"I like Xiao Yan's warmth." Mu Yue said. She liked both the literal and figurative meanings of the word.

Of course, the others also heard what they were talking about.

"Ugh... When a girl has more charm than you..." Fei Hong sighed while Jun Qing pats his back.

"It's not only you, some of the students back at our school hoped that it was just sisterhood. This will shatter their fantasies. You better focus on cultivating instead." Jun Qing said as he shakes his head.

After a short exchange to the other students, the two then proceeded to enter their room.

"Mu Yue, are you fine not having your own children? We are both girls and it's impossible for us to have them." Xiao Yan asked while hugging Mu Yue on the bed.

"We can always adopt a child that has no family like what happened to me." Mu Yue suggested.

"Then I wanted to have a daughter!" Xiao Yan exclaimed.

It was this which made Mu Yue confused. "You seem to like girls too much, Xiao Yan. What made you like that?"

This was what Mu Yue observed from her. Xiao Yan cares for girls more than boys. An example would be her being attentive to Liu Yang when they were hunting.

"Oh, it's what I learned from my family. Maybe the way I grew up?" Xiao Yan reasoned.

"Speaking of your family, when will I be able to meet them? Would they agree to us being together?" Mu Yue asks, wondering about Xiao Yan's family.

"You will meet them when... we both became celestials?" Xiao Yan replied.

Mu Yue stops asking. Although it will take a long time to reach the celestial realm, it was what she planned as she also wants to meet her master.

The next day, both of them went to the principal. The teacher in charge already knew about it and let them separate from the group.

"Good morning to you, father." Mu Yue greeted when they met the principal.

"Good morning to you, Mu Yue." The principal greeted back. He then saw Xiao Yan and quickly greeted before the girl can say hers. "The same to you, Xiao Yan."

Xiao Yan glared at the principal as she wasn't able to say 'FATHER-IN-LAW' to annoy him while the principal only smirks at this.

"Xiao Yan!" yelled Mu Yue. This was to remind Xiao Yan for proper conduct.

Xiao Yan retracted her glare and said, "Now Mu Yue is on your side."

"Hehe, what are you gonna do about it?" The principal taunted.

"Father! The same thing also applies to you." Mu Yue reminded. She then added, "Why are you two always against each other? It's not a good thing to do..."

"Well, it was started by Xiao Yan when I visited her family." Not letting Xiao Yan defend herself, the principal then changed the topic. "Now we must go to the selections. I must not be late since I'm the principal."

They went to the area that has multiple platforms where the students will fight each other. The trio entered a room that has a great view of the platforms. They then sat at the seats, waiting for the event to start.

This was noticed by the other students. Only VIPs could sit in the room, which caused them to wonder who the two little girls are.

A teacher then whispered to the principal. After hearing it, the principal then stood. He also had Mu Yue and Xiao Yan stand.

"All of you that are currently here were chosen by the teachers as they see that you are worthy. However, only a limited number of students can represent the school. Fight with your all and claim the spots!"

"As for who I am currently with, on my left is my daughter, Huang Mu Yue. On the left is the granddaughter of my close friend, Feng Xiao Yan. These two are included in the students that will represent the school of Qi Condensation students. They will also graduate and go here in a few months. Bother them and I will be the one to beat the crap out of you!"
