Disciplining Xiao Yan

"Ah?" Xiao Yan froze.

"Well, the principal is now my father and as her filial daughter, I can't let anyone being disrespectful to him." Mu Yue said.

"T-then how will you discipline me?" Xiao Yan was curious.

Mu Yue smirked, "Then I will just ignore you until you change and starts to be respectful to my father."

Mu Yue then holds her father's hand and dragged him towards a chair. They sat side by side as Mu Yue asks about the life experiences of her father.

Zhi Li then told her stories, "You must listen to what I'm about to say as this was a funny experience for me. There was one time when Xiao Yan's grandfather..."

Mu Yue laughed from time to time from the stories of her father. The two look like a genuine father and daughter as they talk to each other.

"Then what about your experiences as a cultivator, father. I wish to know so I could have a guide for my cultivation path."

"Well, I'm going to start when I was in the Foundation Establishment." The principal then told his journeys, on what he experienced and what made him to his current self.

Xiao Yan was on the sides listening. She did not feel anything about this as it was common for a daughter and a father to talk to each other. However, their talk continues for hours and it was then Xiao Yan started to get jealous. She could not interrupt their chat as that would be disrespectful and might make Mu Yue more irritated at her.

The father and daughter then finished talking to each other. Mu Yue then saw Xiao Yan looking at her with a pitiful look.

"Will you now start to get respectful to my father?" Mu Yue asked.

Xiao Yan kept on nodding. She then promised, "From now on I will be respectful to the ol- to my father-in-law."

Mu Yue was pleased with this but the same could not be said for the principal. Zhi Li frowned when Xiao Yan called him as 'father-in-law'.

"Xiao Yan! You two are not married yet so you are not qualified to call me your father-in-law." Zhi Li exclaimed. He just started to get close to his daughter and someone was already taking her away from him.

"But it would still happen in the future. We two are already lovers and we will get married when we both reach the minimum age needed. Besides, it's better for me to be together with Mu Yue, or you want her to marry a man?" Xiao Yan reasoned.

When Zhi Li heard the last part of what Xiao Yan said, he imagined the scene and quickly shattered his thought. "F-fine you can call me that. However, you better take care of my daughter or else..."

Mu Yue does not know whether to cry or laugh at the exchange of the two. Xiao Yan was good at giving out a valid reason while her father was tricked to agreeing with Xiao Yan.

"As a reward for being obedient..." Mu Yue then kissed Xiao Yan at the lips which made the girl happy.

'It's the first time for Mu Yue to initiate a kiss.'

"Ehem... Can you two not be lovey-dovey in front of me? Please remember that I'm still here." The principal was annoyed but he couldn't be angry at this because Mu Yue was the initiator. He instead just reminded the two.

The principal then asked, "Mu Yue, why did you ask if I'm connected by blood to Xiao Yan?"

Mu Yue was flustered."I-it was because I read that those in the same family w-will not be able to get married to each other..." Mu Yue explained. She then added, "I don't want this to be the one that stops us from getting married."

"Heh..... I didn't know Mu Yue was this adamant on marrying me~" Xiao Yan teased which made Mu Yue blush.

"Ehem..." The principal faked a cough.

The two chuckled at this. Xiao Yan then apologized while smiling, "I'm sorry FATHER-IN-LAW."

Zhi Li was annoyed when Xiao Yan emphasized the word 'father-in-law'. "You....."

"What is it, FATHER-IN-LAW?"

Zhi Li sighs, "You two should return to your rooms as it's close to night time. Remember to go here in the early morning as we three will go together for the selections of my students here."

"Also, tell my assistant that I'm looking for him."

Mu Yue nodded, "Thank you for your time Father."

"Like-wise my dear daughter."
