Chapter 10

Xavier came home early. I was making some dinner when I heard him enter the house.

We had our dinner peacefully.

I was watching some k-drama while Xav was sitting next to me eating while watching it from time to time.

Xav sat down on the bed and exhaled a sigh. It was obvious that his body was still hurting. The Don was absolutely exhausted.

Xavier sat hunched; his eyes were focused on the fire burning in the fire place across him. His hands rested on his lap. I could see the dark circle forming under his eyes, the aggression in his stance and absolute frustration radiating off of him.

I knew he was worried about the shooting and threats but I couldn't help him relieve. All I could do was pretend everything was just fine. All I could do was be a good and oblivious wife. It's what was expected of me to be.

I quietly made my way into the closet to get ready for bed. I pulled off the dress. I looked through the clothes and was gonna grab a nighty when familiar arms wrapped around my waist. My heart started to beat faster causing me to hear the ringing in my ears.

Xav didn't talk. He simply let his hands roam on my exposed body. I could feel his hard chest pressing against my back and his breathe on my neck. He started kissing and biting the flesh.

Everywhere he touched and kissed made fire ignite in me. It felt really good and I couldn't stop him. I wanted more. More of what he can give me.

He then picked me up before walking up to the bed and laying me on it. He laid down on top of me. My face was all red due to me blushing.

It was then that I noticed he was undressed as well. He only had his boxers on. His upper body was exposed and was a bit warm.

One of his hand went behind me and unhooked my bra while his other hand was cupping my heat. He then pulled on my panties roughly and tore them away from my body.

I was gonna cover myself with my hands but he prevented me.

His eyes drank in my exposed body before resuming to kissing my neck.

He slowly moved down to my breast.

"Xavier." I whimpered as his hand came up and squeezed one of my breast. He stared at them for a while before he took my other breast into his mouth.

It brought me pleasure the way I never felt before.

I couldn't believe this was happening. I have been a virgin for half of my life and never was this exposed in front of another person.

Xavier started to move downwards towards my legs. He parted my thighs and started kissing them. He slowly kissed his way up to my heat.

I could feel his cold minty breathe on my hot heat. It felt so weird to have someone's face so close up to your vulnerable parts.

I tried pressing my thighs together but he had pinned them away.

The moment his mouth pressed a long kiss on my clit I released a loud moan. It made him bit on the bud. I was a moaning mess as time proceeded.

He was full on eating out with my hands in his hair. He would not stop till giving me intense pleasure.

I was so close. I looked down at Xavier only to see him watching me already.

He nodded.

And with one last lick I came all over his mouth.

He licked me clean. He then came up to me and kissed me deeply.

I could taste myself on his tongue. This was the first time we properly kissed. And I do not regret the wait.

We kissed till we were out of breathe.

As Xavier pulled away he buried his face in my neck. His hands were around my waist and my hands wrapped around him as well.

We stayed that way till a minute before he rolled to his side and pulled me on top of him.

"Sleep, Mio moglie."

I was already in deep slumber from exhaustion.

The next morning I woke up with Xavier beside me. His hands were wrapped around my body tightly.

The sun was shining brightly on him from the window behind. He looked so peaceful and off guard. It made all his frowns go away. Not wanting to wake him up by my staring I slowly removed his arm and went to the bathroom to freshen up and do my morning routine.

I pulled on of his T-shirt on with some short shorts. I tucked it in from the front and went to make some breakfast for us.

After a while I heard the water running in the bathroom indicating that Xav was awake.

I smiled and blushed as last night replayed in my mind.

"Why are you smiling like a creep this early morning?"

I jumped at sudden interupption. Bianca stood in the doorway with Matteo.

Embarrassed, I smile at them shyly.

"Good morning."

They both greet me before sitting down.

Bianca offered me help but I politely declined it.

As I was serving food, Xavier walked in and sat down in his chair.

I went to grab his plate and placed the food on it.

As we had our breakfast the guys were having some buisness talk while we girls were jumping from one topic to other.

The house phone rang all of a sudden.

I got up and went over to answer it.

"Hello."

"Luna, It's me Maria. I would like to invite you to a small shopping spree. We could have a mother-daughter bonding time."

"Uh...Yeah, sure."

"Oh excellent. How about I came over after lunch and we will go from there to the mall."

"Ok"

"Bye then. See you soon, sweety."

And with that she hung up.

I put the phone down and walked back to the dinning table.

"Who was It?" Xavier asked.

"Maria." I replied.

"What did the bitch want?" Matteo asked.

"She wanted to spend some time with me by taking me shopping. You know "mother-daughter bonding"

I replied with doing quote action in the air with my fingers.

Bianca rolls her eyes while Matteo shakes his head.

Xavier just stared at me. "Don't go. Stay home. Make up an excuse."

I shake my head. "No. It would be disrespectful.  Don't worry I will be alright. I can take care of myself."

Xavier looked a bit vary but let it go.

"Call me if needed anything. And keep your phone with you the whole time."

I nodded.

Xavier and Matteo stood up ready to leave for the office.

I went and got Xav's bag and gave it to him.

Xavier all of a sudden leaned in and kissed my lips. It was a surprise to me as he would usually just nod and walk off.

We shared a small kiss before the guys left.

I locked the door and turned around to see Bianca standing there smirking and wigling her brows.

I laughed at her and went off to do the chores.

I sat with Maria in the car on our way to the mall.

She had a small smile on her face.

She looked so graceful and elegant; just like a  royal.

In front of her I was just an ordinary peasant girl. 

I was in a simple floral dress while she was in a designer dress with a Gem crafted purse.

We reached the mall and had guards with us but only 2 big bodyguards this time.

It reminded me of the time Xavier and I came here with so many Bodyguards.

I chuckled causing Maria to look at me questioning.

I shake my head and we resume shopping.

We shop for about a few minutes and went to one of a restaurant across the street.

We were seated in a more private area. We ordered our food.

"Okay I will just get to the point. Did suocero(father in law) demote Xavier?" She asked.

"What will you get if he gets demote? I mean I can understand that his father hates him so he wants to make him suffer but what excuse do you have?"

She smirked. "I have a son of my own who I want to see as the Don someday. The sooner the better."

It was my time to smirk.

"Well looks like your wish won't be coming any time soon. Xavier is still the Capo. Xavier is The Don."

Her face fell but she recovered soon.

"How is that possible? Father never gives second chance. Never."

"Xavier is lucky I guess. Don't worry I hope that your dream comes true. But you know what they say; Dreams are nothing but dreams." I chuckled.

And with that I got up and walked out of the restaurant leaving a shocked Maria.

She didn't expect me to speak to her that way but no one bad mouths My Husband.

I don't even feel guilt as she deserves it.

I quickly call a cab and leave.
