Weapon Extravaganza

Zeke was woken up by a moderate banging on his door.

"Boss! Come on boss it's time to wake up!" Dirk's voice can be heard shouting behind the door.

Zeke looked at the window and saw that it's still a little bit dark, but he went to bed quite early last night so he still felt refreshed.

"Yes, I'm coming, just need a little bit of time" Zeke responded.

"Okay! Meet us at the living room boss," Dirk says as he leaves.

Zeke stretches out then made his bed. Zeke looked around his room it looks well kept and clean. He saw that it also lacks decorations and personal items which can be changed once he personalized it. He then went outside his room to look for the bathroom.

Each rooms inside the house have names written on them so he easily found the bathroom. As he opens the door he almost bumped into Wulfric who's just coming out of the bathroom.

His wet toned body is a thing to behold, his well-defined six pack abs is almost hypnotizing to look at. His pink glistening nipples are also hard probably because he just finished showering, only a white towel covers his nether regions, you can almost see the outline of his…. Zeke pried his eyes away respectfully, before Wulfric took notice of his... unintentional analyzing, but it looks like it was too late as he was already looking at him with puzzled eyes.

"Ah boss, do you require something from me?" he asked while rubbing his wet hair.

"Ah y-yeah! No! No no no, I meant no," Zeke said grimacing mentally at his stuttering.

"Okay…well, if you're gonna use the bathroom go ahead, after you're done, meet us at the living room to talk about everything. I also heard that the equipment that the Mayor commissioned for us just arrived, you will have to choose later." He said as he left without saying another word.

That was entirely embarrassing, it looks like Zeke's off to a great start with the leader of his retinue. "Ugh…" he said as he goes into the bathroom. He really needs to work on his subtlety if he wanted to observe more stuff.

After finishing up with his morning rituals, he went down to meet his farmhands in the living room. It seems like everyone is here, including Mr. Aloof Hawke. It also seems like they're all geared up ready for an adventure, while he's still on his casual civilian real-world clothes. How utterly unfit.

Hawke was the first one to notice him. "It seems the boss has finally graced us with his presence, let us start then with our discussion," he said, already serious and straight to the point.

"Alright," Wulfric starts to speak, "the delivery of equipment that we were expecting came just a little earlier and before we start our meeting let's let the boss choose the weapon that he's inclined to use."

Dirk came out of the kitchen dragging a weapon rack which displays various weapons for Zeke to choose from. They look different from the generic ones that they always use in video games that Zeke used to play.

"The Mayor commissioned some of the most special weapons fit only for the farmer of legend" Wulfric explains.

"You also don't have to worry about choosing for us boss," Wulfric adds, "we already chose our own equipment that we're most comfortable with, well?"

Looking at the selection Zeke read their descriptions.

⚔️Polymorphic Sword

"The most basic quality of the multiform sword. It changes into three different forms. "Damage-Form" which boosts the attack of the weapon accordingly, "Defense-Form" which thickens the blade to provide the ability of parrying, and lastly the "Evasive-Form, which makes the weapon feel lighter, reduces the weapon's damage, and gives a small boost of agility to dodge the incoming attacks of enemies weaker than the wielder."

"This sword is good for those who likes to fight with versatility, the only disadvantage of this weapon is it cannot be enchanted or enhanced in any forms, as doing so will fatally damage its ability to form-change."

🛡️Magic-Shield

"This magic-infused shield is great at bashing enemies as well as protecting allies and the wielder with an array of magical spells."

"This shield allows the user to cast magic, but the drawback is it can only memorize three spells at a time so whenever the wielder wants to learn a new spell, they have to erase one of the three spells that the shield currently possess."

"It's a weapon for those who are patient and willing to hang back, support, and only strike when the opportunity presents itself."

🏹Elemental Bow

"This magical bow holds mastery over the six elements and is able to fire fast piercing arrows infused with said elements. Gaining mastery over this weapon grants the ability of 'Elemental Fusion' where the wielder will be able to synthesize two or three elements at once and apply them on an arrow which can deal devastating damage upon their foes."

"This weapon is perfect for those who likes to mix a barrage of consistent destruction with a side of arcane magic."

🔱Devouring Lance

"This lance is classified under the 'sentient-weapon' type. A living weapon means that there's an entity inside the said weapon. This lance currently holds an essence of a monster which when used can change the form of the weapon. In this case, it changes to a maw that gnaw enemies and has the ability to secrete various negative effects on its thousand fangs, it can inflict status such as paralysis or poison for instance."

"This weapon is a good initiator to a fight and can give the wielder's party a chance to render enemies entirely helpless."

🗡️Staffletto

"A hybrid of the traditional staff for spell casting and a edged stiletto-like blade on the other end of the staff."

"The staff serves as everything a fledgling mage needs, but with the added lethality of the bladed end. Mages can now protect themselves and inflict instant damage to an enemy if they ever come into close contact with them."

"This weapon will allow the user to cast and learn numerous spells, but can only be limited to six at a time so the wielder should be very mindful about the spells that they obtain as learning one could potentially replace a random spell in their current arsenal. With Zeke being a person of latent, untapped magic potential the efficiency and effects that this staff gives are multiplied."

⚒️Hammallax

"The last on the selection, but not the very least is the 'Hammallax'. It is the strongest weapon among the selection. It boasts pure damage from its dual sided end, a blunt hammer head and a ferocious blade of an ax. This is a heavy weapon so it is recommended for those with immense strength."

"A weapon of great destruction, perfect for people who want to lose themselves in the heat of the battle and inflict unfettered destruction."

Zeke took the weapon and try to feel it in his hands. This is going to be his life now, a farmer and a explorer. He put away his chosen weapon.

"Now that that's out of the way let's continue with our…..discussion of some sorts," Wulfric said in a calm, procedural manner, "Dirk if you could please start?"

Dirk nods. "As of today, Wulfric is relinquishing the temporary title of the leader of this company, passing all the rights of the house to our boss, the farmer of legend as it should be," he started, "this is to signify that we, as farmhands must be always at the ready to serve the destined farmer, be it as a helper in his sacred farm or in gruesome battle."

All of them turn to look at each other then at Zeke and gave a determined, silent nod. They look like they are waiting for Zeke to say something and firmly establish the brotherhood.

"Thank you everyone, for the trust you all put in me even without knowing me that long. I will make sure that this town will prosper for the years to come, and together we will make the best farm there is." Zeke said with newfound conviction in his eyes.

They all smiled, hope brimming in their eyes. They all went in front of Zeke and knelt with utmost veneration, it's almost as if their his knights and him their sovereign, to show their resolve and will at being his loyal farmhands.

After that heartfelt speech of his, Wulfric started talking again.

"Usually, when you still weren't here boss, we start the day by overseeing the farm, we cleaned and removed all the obstacles and unnecessary huge rocks and wilted trees to prepare the land for you. We also already designated each of ourselves a role in the farm so you wouldn't need to think about where to assign us. We made sure everything runs smoothly before you arrive."

"Seeing that we still really can't start farming because of our lack of seeds, we're just going to do our daily check up of the farm," he continued as he signals the boys to stand up.

"You're free to spend your morning anyway you like but if you're interested in what we actually do, you can visit us and watch us do our work," he suggested.

"Before we go boss, we need to meet up here at the house exactly at eight to start our briefing for our dungeon expedition, I also left the farmers' handbook beside the side table for you. It is an indispensable item that the farmer of legend have."

"I was told by the Mayor that it contains all the necessary information about your predecessors, the things that we need to do and stuff about this world of ours. You can also see the skill set and combative abilities of us, your farmhands so always keep that in mind when we do expeditions."

"Now that everything's out of the way, later boss, we still got a lot of stuff to do." With that note, they all left.
