Chapter 36- Unexpected meeting

"Can I know why you hate bread?" Sanji asked, full of curiosity. "No, that is personal, I don't even know how Captain was able to know that..." Law replied, still wondering how I knew about his secret hatred. "Don't worry about it, and don't call Luffy 'Captain'. When Luffy gave us our training programs while he brought you two, Brook got some hellish training since he called Luffy that. In the training, it was also said that he'd beat up the next person who called him captain. When I asked Luffy about it he said that he wants us to have a family-like bond". Law shuddered at the thought of getting beat up by Luffy after he saw what he did to Poor Buddy. "Noted, thanks for the save", Law thanked Sanji. "No problem, can you tell me why you hate bread as thanks?" Sanji asked with a wry smile. "*Sigh* no..." Law continued to refuse as Sanji wanted to pry deeper to know what he could make while still appeasing Law.

"Hey, you! your name is Katakuri, correct? tell me, how do I compare to other swordsmen in the New World?" Zoro asked Katakuri with a somewhat excited tone, which could easily be interpreted as hostile. Katakuri Looked at him, probably thinking if he should ignore him, but after remembering on who's ship he's on he decided to answer. "Compared to the swordsmen of the New World, you are pitifully weak". Zoro looked like he expected this and immediately asked "even with me using haki?", Katakuri was really surprised since he never expected a crew that just arrived in Paradise would know haki. Even if it's Luffy's. "If you know haki then that changes things. I'll watch you practice and then I'll give you an answer". "Right, I forgot. Katakuri would you mind teaching the rest of the crew observation haki? If you don't mind then put extra effort in teaching Usopp since he's our sniper" I "asked" Katakuri. "...fine".

From then on we had smooth sailing as Katakuri started to train the rest of the crew in observation haki. Thanks to my training program most of them knew some already, but it couldn't be compared with Katakuri. We were a couple of days away from Alabasta when some airplane guy and a maid-looking girl flew towards us. "Stop your training for a second, it looks like we have guests", I said to the dead-tired crew members. 'Katakuri isn't even training them that hard... I should ask him to take it up a notch' I thought as I looked at Usopp gasping for air. Katakuri's way of training was one I liked, hit them until they can dodge with a blindfold on. When they do, increase the speed and amount of punches.

as the crew was resting, the maid girl jumped from the air plain and landed on our ship. The airplane man soon landed after her. "Hello, Straw Hat Luffy, how are you doing?" the airplane man asked in a cherry tone. "Firs on all, I don't think that's the first thing you say when you get on someone's ship without permission. Second of all, let's cut the small talk. My crew needs to train some more" I replied with a somewhat annoyed expression. "As you wish. We are an envoy sent by Doflamingo the Warlord, as for our purpose we are here to request an alliance with you. We c-" I cut off the airplane man and asked Law. "Law, Doflamingo wants an alliance, what do you want to do?". Law immediately jumped up as he heard the name, "kill them and then Doflamingo".

"Sure, but don't you think they can be of use?" I asked him. "USE!? tell me how and I'll do anything I can be of use to you!" the maid girl said. 'Oh fuck no' I thought as I used conquerors haki to kill them. The first law for anything, stay away from crazy. "It seems Doflamingo wants to be an ally to us now that Buddy doesn't support him anymore", I say looking at Buddy who was flying high above us. "too bad for him, he lost that chance when you joined us, Law. He'll probably go into hiding now that he know's I'm not on his side, so you'll have you play a little game with him before you kill him Law", I told Law about Doflamingo's plan. "As long as I get to kill him, nothing else matters" he replied.

We arrived at Alabasta a couple of days later, with Law training with much more effort than before. When we got to the harbor, however, all the people ran as if they were on fire. I guess this is how the population will react to us from now on, this sucks. But between the escaping people, there was a group that came forward with weapons drawn. "Look what pray we have here boys", a thirty-something year old with blond hair said. "If you don't want to die, hand over all your loot and beg me for your life in front of this Den Den Mushi", the man said. "..." there was silence. "You do know who we are right?" Law asked him with a deadpan expression.

"Of course, how could I not know the new yonko, Straw Hat Luffy. If we take you down we're going to be famous!" the man replied{since Kaido was taken down by Luffy he's a yonko now}. "*Sigh* you know what? this will be a test for you. Law and Zoro go kill them with your eyes closed" I told the two of them. "That's it? I don't even need Law for this" Zoro said. "Fair enough", I replied as Zoro walked down with his eyes closed. "DON'T LOOK DOWN ON US!" the man said as he ran, ready to cut down Zoro, but before he could speak another word Zoro decapitated him. Zoro then walked slowly as he dodged sword strikes from the other pirates and killed them too.

"C-Luffy" Katakuri suddenly said and pointed with his thumb behind his back. He too called me captain at the start, but I made sure to fix his behavior. "I know, you can come out now, Nico Robin"
