chapter 17- a "small" incident

I finally arrived at the red line and started to fly above it from a distance to avoid the hypothetical admiral's observation haki. Unfortunately, something went wrong. While I was flying high in the air, using a cloud as a cover, a fight broke out between the admiral stationed at the holy land and Jack of the three disasters who apparently had a mission to do at paradise.

During their clash, they used enough force it created enough air pressure to blow the cloud that I used for hiding to who knows where. And of course, they spot me immediately since I was flying right above the holy land, oh but that's apparently not enough since the admiral fighting was Akainu who immediately recognized me since he saw Garp's pictures and I'm the son of Dragon so he kept an eye open for me. could you tell that I was angry?. In the end, I couldn't find a new cloud so I just tried to fly as fast as possible, I'm not trying to go on a full out war against the world government, not yet anyway.

luckily for me, Akainu was busy fighting Jack so he couldn't fight me but that didn't stop cp-0 from trying to take me out. 'God damn it I really don't have the time to play with you now' I thought as I released just enough of my conquerors haki to knock them out, but as fate would have it a couple of celestial dragons where coming closer to see the new slave cp-0 would bring them and were caught in the crossfire, and hit by my haki. "Shit, shit, shit, shit better hope they forgot about my face. Akainu doesn't know that I'm strong so as long as cp-0 didn't recognize or forgot me I will be ok. *Sigh* let's try to get Brook since he's on the way" I talked to myself to calm down.

As I got close to the Florian triangle, I located Brook together with my observation haki and went to his destroyed ship. When I landed on his ship I saw Brook stare in a certain direction, I don't know why but I got the feeling he was yearning for something. "Hey Brook" I said as I raised my hand to wave at him, "yohohoho you scared me there, I would have jumped out of my skin, IF I HAD ONE yohohoho" Brook laughed as he greeted me back. "May I know what you are doing here? all we have here is a ghost ship, not really an attraction, yohohoho" Brook asked while laughing, "I came to recruit you into my crew" I said "alright then" he immediately answered {this is how it was in the original so don't complain about how quick/forced this is}. 'I feel like something is missing here... better ask before we leave' "do you need anything before we go?" I asked him. "Yohohoho I do have a missing shadow that can help me recover my strength if you can get it for me" brook replied.

"Sure, so who has it?", "it's a guy named Ryuma, but he is a zombie so he won't die by normal means and my shadow is connected to him by a devil fruit ability so good luck. I tried to do it myself but we fought so hard I almost died, IF I WASN'T ALREADY DEAD yohohohoh", 'his jokes are so bad they're good... h-how is that even possible?' I thought as I went to get Brook's shadow back. I located Ryuma with ease, and since Brook's shadow is kept within Ryuma with the help of a devil fruit I can just tear it with haki... and that's what happened. I just came to him, punched his head to oblivion, and tore off his, or I guess Brook's, shadow with a haki-covered arm.

"Hey brook, I got your shadow back", "so it seems, well let's be off then. But you have to carry me if you don't have a ship, I could die of drowning, IF I HAD LUNGS yohohoho" {are my jokes bad enough for brook?}. '*Mind sigh* Nami is going to freak out, isn't she...', and so I now flew back to east blue with a skeleton in my arms.
