He stops and turn and saw a car rushing to stop so that it won't hit him. He closes his eyes and thought ' I can finally join you mom, dad'

He closed his eyes and prepared for his release when suddenly he felt a pushing force coming from his back, he turns around and saw the dog slipping on the road, pushing him away from the path of the car, and getting hit by the car instead of him.

As He saw the car crash at the dog, he not only forgives the rabid dog, but is also thankful to it because it sacrificed it's life, though accidentally, so he can live.

As he lay on the ground thinking about what happened, he realised something very weird. Since his mother and father died at that fateful day, he was always unlucky. Once,when they were buried, the company that his father managed and grew betrayed him and stole all his money 'legally' and both families of his mom and dad quickly disowned him and left him in an orphanage. At that time he realized that the greed of humans were insatiable and unpredictable.

He was holding onto the hope that they would take care of him, but the opposite happened and they disowned him and left him to fend for himself.

This action caused him to brew hatred and wrath towards the two families and swore that he will get vengeance.

Since then, he lived his life cold and aloof because of what happened with his family he grew alone.He slowly became indifferent and the only thing that helped him throughout his life was his intelligence and fast comprehension of things that other people would take long to understand, he would understand it faster.

Even though he had high IQ, that did not help his life entirely and it was only useful in school, other than that, he was usually bullied because of his scrawny body. Not only that, his whole life, he was very unlucky, and not just one time, it was his whole life.

You might think that by having a high I Q can help him get rich, well, at first he tried playing games by gambling and almost won, but ultimately, didn't. Whenever he would almost win something unlucky happens so it was also at that time that he realized how unlucky he was.

Yet, at this moment he realized how lucky he was for surviving that crash. No matter what reason he could think of there was no way he could believe he was lucky. Yet, it is as it seems.

He shrugged it off and thought, 'maybe its just a one time thing and I used it on saving my life, and well that's not so bad'

He looks around to gather his bearings and continues on his journey to get the VR helmet that was being released today and he immediately set off to get it. That's right,' get' it, the company announced that they will release

5, 000 units in each city for free in a country and although the city he lives in is small, the population still numbers to almost a million citizens. So he immediately hurries to the company to get the helmet.

When he arrived, the line was gone and the receptionist was packing up since she was handing it out from outside and immediately blamed his luck for not getting what he wanted but when he was about to leave, the receptionist noticed him and called out to him, "hey you there".

He turns around and the receptionist was a bit dazed looking at him but immediately snaps out of it and asked, "are you here for the VR helmet?".

" Yes I am" He replied .

She looked at him and contemplated for a bit before saying, "OK, come here and sign this, this, and this and put your name there too."

She proceeds to take out a contract of some sort and pointed to where he should sign.

He was a bit dazed and snapped out of it quickly and did as what was told.

The receptionist, seeing this, smiled knowingly and said,

"this contract that you signed is for a VR helmet or rather a

VR capsule since you didn't get the helmet you can get the

Capsule but you must be warned that this product is still

In an experimental period. "

He hesitates for a bit but decided to be firm and resolute so he can make money more efficiently and although taking a risk its still in an acceptable range and besides he had nothing to lose right? (A/N: what about your life you douche)

He nods at her and proceeds inside the building for a few minutes and afterwards, she came out and held in her hand was a card. She came in front of him and said, "here's your card or Id for the game"

He accepted before looking at it.

But its futuristic looking and has a hole on the side. Probably for the blood needed.

He smiled and accepted it dripped blood on the slot with the provided knife and tries it out immediately.

John replied, "y-yeah, sure"

He proceeds to put his address and says goodbye to the receptionist.

The receptionist seeing his back fading away mumbled under her breath, 'what a lucky guy, boss said that only the luckiest guy can nab this capsule and even though it's experimental, it's still 200% better than an ordinary VR helmet must've used all his luck on this one, poor guy'

What she didn't know was that this was only the beginning.
