Chapter 3 - Updated

After finish eating breakfast, I immediately went to the dungeon that was near in our home town, the dungeon was located in Punta city, about 25 minutes trip from our home.

"I wonder what a dungeon looks like, it makes me a little excited!"

Immediately, I called for a taxi, I am also wondering if how hard the dungeons was. Mother said that

I might die. But with my stats and experience of fighting. I can maybe manage to survive in a white grade dungeon.

"Mom was right, soldiers and players are everywhere. I should look for some assistance"

Then I looked around, I see a receptionist and immediately approached the man, a black haired man, wearing an office black suit.

Daryl: Can I ask for a guide about dungeons?

Man: Yes sir! I can be your guide!

Daryl: Aren't you busy?

Man: No, It's my time to rest so I can explain some points to you about dungeons.

Ignoring the gazes around, I listened to the man in-front of me. From a distance away, I see a white colored portal that is wavering.

Man: What you see right in front of you is the portal of a dungeon. Dungeon Portals have different colors white, blue, green, orange, red and lastly violet. From its order white is the easiest and violet is the hardest.

For now, I should focus in the white grade dungeons, I need to level up fast first, and from its rankings. Maybe the higher the grade, the more you can earn.

Man: Next, is you can get cores from the monsters, or if you`re lucky they drop equipment, you can party up to six people but I'll give you an advice, don`t party with random people some of them might back stab you.

I know that, but thanks for the concern, and I decided that I will solo play for now. So there will be no problem about that.

Man: Before you enter we will give you a card to record your points and your achievements. We don`t need to check your level but don`t enter higher dungeons if you are not confident. And lastly conquering it. If you killed a dungeon boss, the portal will close for 15 minutes before it will open again, and you will receive rewards from us and you can use the dungeon for free for a day. That is all I can give to you for now so. Take care! I`ll give you a dungeon card so that you can start anytime!

That was a long explanation but it helps a lot. I promised my mother that I will not enter today, but maybe if I earn a little money and gain few levels, it can make me happy.

Daryl: Can I start now?

Mark: Yes! You are lucky that you`re early! And by the way my name is Mark Mendoza.

What a late introduction, I told him my name as well, and also thanked him for helping me. After that. I look at the dungeon card that Mark gave to me.

"I should enter the dungeon now"

Sorry mom. I want to test my strength, as I slowly entered the dungeon. The surrounding was narrowing, I immediately closed my eyes because it caused me a head ache. When I open my eyes, I can see trees and plants that doesn't exist in earth.

"It feels like this is not a dungeon, maybe it`s a portal to another world"

I`m really sure of it, that this is not just a dungeon. I only have a machete, and I don`t have any defensive equipment. But I have stats that is superior than others.

After that, I continue to walk inside the so called dungeon. From a rocky area a distance away from me. I see a wolf like monster with red fur and its size is twice than a normal wolf.

"Blood wolf"

"Level seven and also there are seven of them. If only I have two weapons from each hand, I can manage to defeat them"

I should be patient and wait until one of them will be separated. I`m still level 0 and I have high stats but I shouldn't be over confident.

"Grrrr!"

After waiting for a while, I quickly rushed towards the separated wolf. I leap towards it and to avoid howling, I gripped its mouth and used the machete to stab its neck.

I stabbed the wolf four times, three of my attacks dealt normal damage, but the fourth one caused a critical hit.

"My damage dealt is low, I should have distributed the points"

I only cause 338 damage. I kept stabbing the wolf until it died.

Ding: you have gained 370 experience

The experience I gain isn't` high, but it`s still worth it for a first timer. I distributed my stats, putting 8 stats for strength, 5 for agility and 2 for intelligence. I checked my stats again and my HP rise so much. After that I dismantled the wolf.

"So, this is what a core looks like huh?"

It`s shape is diamond-like, and the size is small. But they said it will exchange high price of money even if it`s small. While holding the core, I realize that I did not bring a single bag. Never mind, I will just put it in my pockets. I quickly followed the other blood wolves and killed them one by one.

"Thirty minutes to kill them all, I thought this will be easy"

"I have four cores, gained 2,121 experience and gained a level, not bad for my first harvest. I am facing wolves so it`s a hunt or be hunted game"

The reason why it took me a long time because I only hunt them one by one, if my current level obviously I can`t defeat all of them together. I look at the sky in the dungeon and realize that It`s almost noon, I forgot to bring not just a bag, even food as well. I should not be excited too much next time and prepare well for my next dungeon.

"Better continue grinding"

I continue to walk In the Isolated forest, I have never encounter players. Maybe we will be transported randomly if we enter here, and also if party members hold hands together, they will not

be separated if they will enter as well.

"My target for now are level ten and below"

I slaughtered monsters with low levels while avoiding stronger ones.

"Mutated Mantis"

"Mutated mantis? That name is too obvious"

The monster in-front of me looks the same as a mantis. The difference was just its size and color.

From the look of it, it`s hand can maybe slice a car in half immediately.

"Skrrt-skrtt-skrtt!"

The monster quickly lunch an attack towards, with my agility stats. I quickly dodge the attack. I can solo the mantis but my problem is I don't have any active skills. I hit it`s left hand then quickly stepped back.

"It`s very aggressive and wild, not like the other monsters"

I leaped towards it again, it tried to intercept me but I quickly turn around with a 360 form, then hit its head. While battling for almost a minutes, it`s face and hands are broken.

"Sorry but it`s time for you to rest"

I quickly sliced the monster from head to toe, my machete is slightly broken as well. While it started to split in half, I heard another announcement.

Ding: Your level has risen

I`m now level eight so two levels more is all I need, and have 62 cores in my possession and the materials are wasted because I did not bring a single bag.

"I should rest for a while"

I rested for five minutes, I double check again the surroundings if there are some things that I have left.

"Gruuu! Gruu!"

I was shocked by the time I looked at the direction where the noise was, in a distance. A human size bird was approaching towards me.
