6 The first deal with the Devil.

"Well, how about this. If within the month you succeed in your breakthrough, we will follow through with the original deal."

"However, if you cultivate diligently as you always have, and don't gain results then..." Lucifer trailed off as he gestured towards Lily who Rikki had yet to notice.

"...I will have my servant serve you for a night."

Lucifer turned to Rikki and smiled, "How about it? Not a bad deal? Either you will gain power or get to spend a night with such a beauty"

Lucifer decided to try and increase Lily's worth. "I mean look at her, not only does she have the perfect looks and figure."

"As her name suggests, she is also pure and innocent like an untouched flower."

Rikki couldn't help but listen to those words and nod along in agreement.

She was a beautiful woman, and with his strength and looks, when could he have a chance to spend a night with such a beauty.

He decided it wouldn't hurt to agree with Licht's strange agreement but would his servant go along with it?

"While a tempting offer, would she even agree to it?" Rikki stood up and asked Lucifer.

"Lily, you've heard him, would you be fine with it?" Lucifer questioned Lily.

Lily was shocked at the turn of events, she didn't expect Lucifer to want to sell her body off.

But because she agreed to go along with anything that happened. She smiled and nodded her head in agreement.

Seeing this, Lucifer and Rikki smiled at each other and shook their hands.

"Looks like we have an agreement Descendant Licht," Said Rikki.

"Yes we do, now let me touch your forehead and your talent will increase"

Rikki was surprised that all he wanted to do was to touch his forehead, but it made no sense to question it.

Lucifer lifted his middle and index finger towards Rikki's forehead.

They started to glow before they finally tapped Rikki's forehead and caused a ripple of energy.

Lucifer moved his hand away, "It's all done. I will see you in a month. Make sure to let up to 10 other disciples know of this."

Rikki opened his eyes and continued to listen to Lucifer. He could already feel more powerful, more refreshed.

He believed this may have worked but he had to test it out to be sure.

"The same offer is open to them. They will get a month and if they fail then Lily will be theirs for an evening each."

"Make sure to not undersell her beauty" Lucifer winked.

Rikki nodded but being eager to cultivate he says "I'm going to get back to cultivating so leave."

He decided to no longer be polite and forced the disturbance to finally leave.

Lucifer took no offence to his sudden change in behaviour, it was to be expected.

He smiled and nodded before turning around and leaving.

Lily followed closely behind Lucifer.

She was filled with questions and worry but wasn't sure how to bring it up.

She could tell that this was no longer the innocent Licht that she knew.

Licht would have never offered up her body even in desperation.

He would rather die than let something happen to her as any cute little brother should.

Licht was truly gone, only Lucifer was left.

Lucifer could feel that she was full of questions, it wouldn't be good for her to start to worry.

We fear the unknown and that usually leads to the death of the unknown.

It was better if she wasn't afraid.

"What worries you, Lily?" Lucifer asked in a gentle voice.

She felt happy hearing Lucifer allow himself to be questioned.

"Do you think he can break through in a month? I mean the jump from 6 months to 1 is quite big." Lily asked, she didn't want to have to spend the night with Rikki.

Or anyone else for that matter. Even if they were handsome she didn't want to be a part of a transaction.

"Not only will he reach it, but he will also reach it in a moment." Lucifer gave Lily a reassuring smile.

"W-what? How can that be possible?" Lily couldn't believe what she was hearing.

"I didn't just increase his talent enough for him to break through to the 2nd stage."

"T-then what did you do?" Lily asked, becoming more curious about Lucifer.

"He should easily reach the 5th stage. If he is talented he could reach the 6th stage" Lucifer said causing Lily to be shocked even further.

"But Luci, if he becomes that powerful won't he cause trouble for you?"

Lucifer smiled, luckily for him Lily was quite quick.

"Yes, that is what I'm hoping to achieve. I only told him he could maybe get close to the 3rd stage."

At that moment Lily realized something. "This way when he reaches the 5th or even the 6th stage he will become arrogant"

"He will think that he is an even greater genius than he originally believed."

"Right, and then he would come here and..." Lucifer nodded his head but his words were quickly cut short.

"...and most likely he would try to take me by force." Lily finished the sentence for him.

Lucifer didn't think she would think that far but then again the cultivation world was cruel.

Even a nice place such as this would have a few men and women go missing from time to time.

He was sure Lily understood this.

Lily then got close to Lucifer and grabbed his arm.

"Aww, Luci, I didn't know you were into pimping out your big sister like that." She started teasing Lucifer.

"Maybe you hoped you'd get to watch, didn't you, you naughty boy" She winked at him before letting go of his arm.

She then ruffled his hair and started laughing.

While she could be in danger. She believed that Lucifer wouldn't allow anything to happen.

They continued to walk in silence but then another realization struck Lily.

"But Luci, even if you can deal with him on his own, what will happen if he manages to gather 10 disciples?"

"Won't they want to do the same thing? After all, in the end, it wasn't until I was offered up that he agreed."

What Lily said made sense. Lucifer wasn't even a cultivator so dealing with someone at the 6th stage would be impossible.

But what if 10 of them came? Even infinite lives wouldn't be able to save you.

Despite this, Lucifer remained calm as this was all part of his plan.

"Just wait Lily, in a week 10 disciples will come."

"3 weeks later I will become a new me"

"I will be more than ready by the time the 10 disciples come," Lucifer said in a ferocious voice.

Lily could tell that everything he said, he truly believed.

She wanted to ask more, but she could just wait and see.

As Lucifer promised, a week later 10 disciples showed up as expected and made the same deal with Lucifer.

Lucifer increased their strength by the same amount as he did with Rikki.

Once the disciples left Lucifer couldn't help but smile.

With this, in three weeks he would make the first major step in his journey.

And in a month he would make his presence known to the clan and the second step will be underway.
