_I_ Prologue _I_

I can't believe that I was used and thrown up just like, meaningless, all I did for my kingdom, for her, was useless. They are throwing me up saying that they have to protect the Prince, because the royal blood should continue? And she, she left me because she was scared? Scared of what? Scared of dying? Scared of getting hurt? Scared of remaining ordinary and remain as she is? Yes, that is it, it has to be the only reason for them, her, to leaving me to die whereas the only thing I'll get for my sacrifice will be honour? Screw that! I'll die and all the cheering will go to the Prince to survive won't it, the kingdom will celebrate on the eve of crowning of the Prince, they will just make a statue of me and then after some while it will be lying around somewhere in the royal knight honours.

They kingdom will again prosper and the people will soon completely forget me and the future prosperous kingdom will be build on my dead body. The she will probably also forget me after sometime and marry the Prince, all this saying she was doing it for the kingdom.

No. No! No! I won't die meaninglessly! I won't be forgotten! I will not die!

"Do you want to live~" echoed a voice in my head.

"Yes…"

"Will you do anything to get survive~"

"Yes…"

"Then will you accept a contract with me~"

"Yes..."

"The terms are that I'll give a new start and various powers but with a condition that..... "

"So do you agree?"

"Yes." I replied as I had nothing to lose anyways, all my life flashed before my life, and blossomed the thirst of revenge and scar of betrayal, but the next moment I saw myself in empty void instead of my death place, it had uncountable number of stairs each of different colour. "Where am I?"

"Lucifer ViDooms…" the same voice from my mind echoed, once again.."

"Who are you?!" I called out to the shadow in front of me, it was unrecognizable but I knew it was definitely not a normal human.

"...you shall have the power to shake Artins and Melis and rule over all existed, to either protect it by being the greatest hero to exists, or become its worst and most dangerous enemy… but, remember whatever you chose I will follow you, Lucifer, my shadow will always surround you…" It said and disappeared…

"Who are you? Where am I? And what does all that you said means? Answer me dammit." With that I was sent back in time.
