Prologue; End of The Start

Five years ago,



His forehead furrowed when his phone rang but a smile automatically formed from his lips when he saw who the caller was.



"Hello sweetheart, miss me already?"



"Troy?"



"Yes baby?" He asked as the excitement in his voice was replaced by concern when he heard the sad voice of the woman on the other line.



"Where are you? You leave without saying goodbye."



"I'm so sorry about that sweetheart. You were sleeping peacefully that's why I didn't say goodbye."



"Still, you should've wake me."



"Sweetheart, where's my conscience if I do that? Hm? Don't worry, I'm on my way now. Why? Is there something wrong?"



"I'm scared. There's only ten minutes left before they take me to the operating room." She cried in nervously.



"Shh, shh, don't cry, don't cry baby. There's nothing to be scared of. I'm here." He could hear the fear and nervousness in her sweet angelic voice.



"You're the first person I want to see when I open my eyes after my operation."



"Of course, of course baby. I'm on your side when you open your eyes. You'll be surprised to see your handsome husband beside you." He joke to ease her worries.



"I will divorce you as soon as I see that you were lying." Hearing his joked ease a bit of worries that consuming her a minute ago.



"Sweetheart, I'm sure you won't do that, instead, you're gonna fall head over heels in love with me all over again.



"Let's just see," She said as she took a deep breath nervously. "Please, come here before my operation."



"I'll try."



"Troy!" She protested, she knew his just teasing her.



"Of course, of course, I will be there as soon as I can possible." He chuckled.



"I'll wait for you, Troy. Please don't be too late, okay?" She pause for a second, then she said. "I have a surprise for you."



"What is it?" He asked, curiously.



"I'll tell you when you get here." She giggled, hearing the curiosity in his voice.



"Can you tell me now?"



"I won't. It wouldn't be a surprise anymore if I tell you now."



"Sweetheart." He protest, but jokingly.



"I'll hang up now. Be careful, okay? I miss you already."



"I will. I miss you too sweetheart and I love you so much." He said lovingly before the call was ended.



Troy smiled shaking his head amusingly and drove the car more faster than usual. He was filled with excitement and eagerness to see his wife that overwhelmed his whole being. He misses her so very damn much, and he couldn't wait to hold her in his arms and kiss her senselessly.



All he could think of is his wife, seeing and be with her all the time.



It was too late when he noticed the ten wheeler truck speeding his way. He tried to avoid it, but it was too late for him to evade.



The collision sounds of iron rubbing against each other tore through the silence of that place.



"P-p-please..... W-wait for m-me s-s-sweet....... heart," he whispered in pain before darkness consume him to a deep slumber.
