104 His Love Life was Not Going Smoothly

Wei Jun Hao cursed as he watched Zhang Yu Han jumped past him and shot the ball into the hoop. It has been two nights in a row that Zhang Yu Han had asked him to come over to play basketball.

Last night, the others had also come out to accompany their captain to play a few rounds, however, this night, it seemed that everyone else had found a reason not to show up.

Some of them had to work overtime, some had to go out and entertained their clients and some of them had a prior engagement. Su Ming Yuan, however, had blatantly given an excuse that his mother did not allow him to go out at night. When Wei Jun Hao heard Su Ming Yuan's excuse, he really wanted to curse and beat his friend to death.

How original! How old was Su Ming Yuan that he still needed his mother's permission to go out at night?

They're friends! A team! Shouldn't they face joy and suffering together? How can they let him be the only one tortured to play a one-on-one match against their captain! Of course, since the others were not present, Zhang Yu Han had beaten him badly and had refused to give him some face.

Wei Jun Hao wiped the sweat on his face and panted. He bent down with both hands on his knee and raised his head to Zhang Yu Han. "That's it. This is enough. I cannot play anymore!"

Zhang Yu Han had a displeased expression on his face. However, he grabbed the ball, bounced it on the floor a few times and walked over to Wei Jun Hao. "How can you run out of stamina this fast. We haven't played that long. Wei Jun Hao, you're too weak."

Wei Jun Hao gritted his teeth, unable to say anything. Who knows what was upsetting Zhang Yu Han that he had asked him to accompany him to play basketball. Wei Jun Hao walked over the corner and grabbed a bottle of drinking water. In seconds, he drank it empty. "Alright," he paused to catch his breath. "What's going on with you? Did someone make you upset or happy? Why are you torturing me to play basketball with you two nights in a row?"

"How is this torturing?" Zhang Yu Han grabbed another bottle and drank half of it. "I was concerned about your health. You spend most of your time sitting in front of your computers. Exercising is good for you. Isn't this a good way for us to hang out?"

Wei Jun Hao thought that if he was still drinking, the water would surely spill out of his mouth. Due to his job, he spent most of his time outside to meet clients, not cooped in his office and stay in front of the computer.

"Even if you want to hang out, why can't you ask us to meet up in a club or something?" Wei Jun Hao said with frustration.

"No. It's too stuffy in there."

Wei Jun Hao thought that playing basketball and getting tortured by Zhang Yu Han like this was making his chest stuffy.

With a heavy sigh, Wei Jun Hao followed after his friend as they walked to leave the basketball court. But just as they were about to reach the parking lot, Zhang Yu Han stopped and turned to sit at a bench.

"The deadline to submit the tender to QL's project in B City is near," Zhang Yu Han said as Wei Jun Hao took a seat beside him.

"So… you were worried?" Wei Jun Hao looked at his friend inquisitively. "What is it? You did not think that QL will win the project to develop the area?"

"It's not that. Li Qin Yao planned to introduce me to Vice President Mo from MH Group before they submit the tender," Zhang Yu Han said. "By the way she was talking about VP Mo, I can see that the two of them were quite close."

Wei Jun Hao looked at his friend incredulously. So, he has been in a bad mood because his love life was not going smoothly?

"How long has it been? You still haven't said anything to her?"

Zhang Yu Han's face turned a shade darker. "Who was it that said I should pursue her slowly?"

"Hey, I also said that you should go ahead and make your move before another man took the chance," Wei Jun Hao said. "Just go ahead and flirt a little. Grab her and kiss her. I heard that domineering man is in trend among girls nowadays."

Zhang Yu Han tried his best to resist throwing the ball to Wei Jun Hao's head.

There was not a moment when he did not think about kissing her. He spent most of his time alone with her in her office. Just a man and a woman together alone in the office, how can he say that he never had the intention? There were times when he wanted to let go and just kiss the girl, but Zhang Yu Han found that he was not brave enough. He was afraid that with one misstep, he might make her hate him.

Call him a coward, but what he wanted was to make fall for him and not to push her into a corner and leaving her with no way out. Judging from Li Qin Yao's personality, he did not think that she would appreciate such a move either. Anyway, wasn't there was a proverb saying a melon forced off its vine is not sweet?

"I don't know why I'm asking for advice from a single man like you," Zhang Yu Han shook his head.

Wei Jun Hao could not resist rolling his eyes. "Then, how about you set me up with your sister? Then I wouldn't be a single man anymore? That would stop my aunt from forcing me to go on a blind date. I don't know what was wrong with her? She's more anxious about it more than my mother."

Zhang Yu Han stared at his friend for a few seconds longer. Though he had always known that Wei Jun Hao liked his sister, he had never heard Wei Jun Hao say it out loud.

Sensing that Zhang Yu Han did not say anything, Wei Jun Hao grew to worry. As Zhang Yu Han's best friend, naturally, Wei Jun Hao knew of how good the siblings' relationship can be. Though the two of them always annoy each other, there was no way that he did not know how Zhang Yu Han can be overprotective towards his sister.

After a long silence, Zhang Yu Han let out a deep breath. "Forget it. Before I get myself a girlfriend, there's no way that I will help you to get one."

Wei Jun Hao was relieved that Zhang Yu Han did not say a word of objection towards what he had said, however, his words still drove him mad. "Zhang Yu Han. I did not know that you can be this petty!"
