Will you be my girlfriend?

Dreb's POV

I want Lenna to be my girlfriend. Andrea has Xander, and I want Lenna and me to be together. I don't want her to just rebound and especially I don't want her to think that I'm still not Naka ka move on with Andrea.

While Lenna was sleeping I went out first to buy roses and chocolates. I immediately went to the flower shop and bought flowers.

When I finished, I immediately went to the chocolate sellers. I chose the heart-shaped chocolate. I also put a letter hidden in the flower.

I did not return home because I was planning my venue where I would take her. I just sent it to one of my workers. I immediately texted Lenna that I would be late for work.

it's already 4pm, my hired designers started arranging the decorations. I also bought fireworks to make it even more romantic to confess my love for her.

As 6pm approaches, my heart beats faster and faster, it seems like I will be eaten by my nervousness.

"Sir, all are settled" said one of my servants. I just nodded and thanked him for his help. I am at a Beach resort now, it is owned by the Laurels. Laurel is one of my and Andrea's business partners.

"Dreb ?it's nice to meet you here "I turned around and saw Mr. Laurel. I smiled and immediately reached out his hands.

"it's nice to meet you too Mr. Laurel"

"are you proposing?" its a question that made me laugh.

"I'm just confessing my love to a woman"

"it's that woman is Ms. Andrea?" his question that surprised me.

"no, Mr. Laurel, me and Andrea are not in a relationship anymore. We just became friends." I explained to him. He nodded and said goodbye, he had to do something.

I'm now waiting for Lenna, the nervousness I'm feeling right now is getting worse. at the speed of my heartbeat and my hands are sweating.

"Lenna? I'm waiting for you here in the resort" I texted her

"I will see you there, I'm now preparing. By the way Dreb, I'm wearing a red maxi dress. A floral dress" I ended the call and waited for her.

it's almost 6pm, this place is not crowded today because I booked the whole resort just for this night.

I looked around until I saw a woman in a floral dress. I smiled and signaled to turn off the light and the musicians started playing.

I walked towards her, I feel nervous in my chest now. Excited, cried and what else I feel. I felt mixed as I approached Lenna.

She was already in front of me, her face was not very clear because there was no light.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" when I said those words the fireworks were immediately lit. I looked up at the sky and looked at Lenna.

"Lenna? Will you be my girlfriend?" I asked her again.

"who's Lenna? And who are you?" a familiar voice I heard and began to shine because of the light.

Andrea? Wait, what is he doing here.?

And why they have the same dress of Lenna.

As the light turned on I saw Lenna behind Andrea. She burst into tears and forced a smile. It immediately ran so I followed it.

"Lenna?" I said while running.

"What is it Dreb. Can it be right, I know you still love her. But what did you have to do that? You've showed me you did that to her in front of me?" she asked while crying.

"Lenna, you don't understand, it's all for you. I don't know why Andrea  was there. I  booked the whole resort just for the two of us. I didn't even know Andrea was here. So, please listen to me "

"If you're  telling the truth? Prove that you should have done that to me?"

I looked at her eyes and smiled at her. "Lenna? Will you be my girlfriend?" i asked her with my knees went down and looked at her.

She smiled at me and said "yes Dreb"

I went up and hugged her, I slowly faced her and kissed her gently. "I love you"

"I love you too" she smiled at me and kissed me back.

I felt happy to see her happy right now. after that, we went on the restaurant here inside the resort. Unfortunately, Andrea is here too together with Xander. They were eating as we arrived at the place.

They looked at us and just looked away that they usually do. Xander saw me and went towards me.

"Mr. Mendoza ?nice to see you again "he reached out his hands.

"nice to meet you again Mr. Xander" we both shake our hands.

"What if we share our table together?" He offered and it was a nice idea but I looked at Lenna first.

"is it okay?" she just nodded, we went on Andrea's table and ordered some foods.

the food arrived and was immediately placed on our table. The four of us ate together.

When we finished eating and Lenna and I immediately went home.

We were already at home, Lenna immediately went to her room. She looks tired so that's why she behaves like that.

I also went to my room and went straight to the bathroom. I immediately showered, then I got dressed and went to bed.

"Why did Andrea find all my surprises for all the women for Lenna?" that was my question in my mind as the pillow covered my face.

I close my eyes and fall asleep while the pillow covers my face.

A rainy day woke me up, I yawned before getting up in my bed. I went to the bathroom and take a shower.

I went downstairs and saw Lenna preparing food. I smiled at her and went to her back. I hugged her back and she smiled.

"let's eat?"

I sat down and started to eat. When I finished my meal suddenly someone called me. It's an unknown number and I answer it.

"hello?"

"it's me Andrea, I want to apologize what happened yesterday. But I have something to tell you"

"what is it?"

"I'm offering you a contract, I want to displays perfumes in your mall. Your mall is one of the famous mall here in our country. And I would like to display my perfumes there. Is it okay Mr. Mendoza?"

"let me think of it"

"okay, just text or call me if you made up your mind"

I ended the call and looked at Lenna.

"what is it?"

"it's Andrea, she offer me a contract and want to display her perfumes in the mall. Should I sign it?"

"it's up to you, but that's business Dreb. It's a great offer" she smiled at me. I really love her being this considerate.

I texted Andrea that I agree on her offer. She emailed me the contract and I sign it. I passed it to her.

I went to the mall, I buying some groceries for Lenna and me. I was about to pay for the grocery when suddenly a man with gun appeared on  the mall.

"no one move or else this woman's head will blow" the man said while pointing the gun to the woman's head.

"Sir, put the gun down" I said calmly but he is very angry.

"don't think of going here" he pointed the gun to me and I put my hands up.

"just please put the gun down si-r" he plugged the gun and shoot me.

"Mr. Mendoza!" I heard as I fell down.

The man put the gun down and run. The guards run and caught the man with the gun.

"call the ambulance" I heard some staff and employees said.

I still opened my eyes and looked around. I feel dizzy and I think I'm about to closed my eyes.

I was about to close my eyes when I suddenly saw Andrea.

"Mr. Dreb? Wake up" I closed my eyes and don't know what happened next.

I slowly opened my eyes and I saw a light on the ceiling. I looked around and saw Lenna was beside me. She's holding my hands while she's asleep.

I moved my hands and touched her hair. She noticed and hurriedly stands. She call the doctor.

"how are you Mr. Dreb?"

"I think I'm fine"

"that's great, you're wound will heal after one month. Just take some rest and never overworked." the doctor leaves.

"thank goodness your alright" Lenna said while kiss my forehead. She was in tears right now. I wipe those tears of her and smiled.

"don't worry too much, I'm fine now"

She leans towards me and slowly closed her eyes and kissed me gently. She slowly moved her lips towards mine. I feel the sweetness of her kiss, her lips were soft and her scent is so perfect. It's a romantic kissed we have together.

I closed my eyes and just go with the flow on our kissed. But suddenly I remembered the kisses of Andrea. I stopped, "I want to rest for now"
