Lily knew why Lisa looked startled. Imagine if an adult woman wearing a hospital gown asks a stranger to take her home like a lost child, surely they would also be shocked and find the situation incredulous. So she explained herself to Lisa. "Actually somebody robbed me of my purse a few days ago then I fainted somewhere due to extreme hunger. It was a good thing somebody sent me to hospital and helped settle my hospital bills, but they could not help me further. So I was hoping if I could get any help here."

Lisa looked at Lily with an enlightened expression then said" So you must be a tourist right? Where do you come from? " She knew why Lily asked helped from her, since she was a police officer it was her duty to uphold justice and protect the people. So where could Lily possibly ask for help except from the police?

" I'm from Tulip city." Lily replied.

" Oh, that's sure is far. But if you travel by plane I think it would only take six hours though. Wait, do you happen to know anyone from the police station in tulip City? I know some of them, and if you're friends with some of them i think can help contact them for you."

" I know Captain Scarlet."

" Please wait for a few seconds while I'll contact their hotline number."

"Sure" Although Lily felt a little guilty since she didn't even know why she was here and her story were all lies. She was an honest person after all and she was even afraid of telling the littlest lie, but she just had no other choice this time.

After Lisa dialed the number, she handed the phone to Lily "Here you go."

"Thank you!"

"It's my pleasure."

As the call got through a soft voice rang from the other side "Good day Scarlet Davis speaking... " it was Scarlet's.

" Captain Scarlet its me Lily!" she said excitedly not letting Scarlet finish.

"Lily?"

"Yes, it's me Lily Scott."

"So you just remembered to call now, I thought you were already dead."

Lily thought gnashing her teeth "Sure enough nobody else could compete with Captain Scarlet's vicious tongue."

"Captain Scarlet can I ask you a favor." Lily asked earnestly.

"Why would you ask me a favor? It think I should be the one asking you for it, surely with your talents you've already made it big time there."

"I think youre mistaken. Somebody just robbed me a few days ago, and now I can't go home."

"im picking you up where are you right now?" Scarlet said with a hint of worry.

" No need, I just need you to book me a plane ticket. I'm in Rose City by the way."

"Wow, thats really far. You got there just by yourself and you didn't even tell me?"

"I didn't even know why I was here in the first place!" Lily said in her head screaming. But she remained silent.

"Lily."

"Yes boss?"

"I just wanna tell you that if you're short on money right now you're post is still vacant even after five years. So if you want, you can work as my assistant again."

After years of working side by side, both girls have gotten close.

"Thank you so much boss." Lily felt grateful because even though her boss appeared tough and cold on the outside, she actually had a really warm heart. But soon enough Lily thought something was amiss with what Scarlet said. And in a few moments...

"Wait, what! Five years?"
