Pa..pa..pa

The next morning.

"I had prepare your meals. Just warm them up when you want to eat. I'll going first," Luna informed.

"Where're you going? When are you coming back?" Alex anxiously asked.

He is afraid. Afraid when Luna going out she will never come back.

"I have something to do. Don't worry..I had sorted all your company's files. It's on the side table by the bed. I guess it'll be easier for you to do your works when you sit leaning on the headboard. I'll be going. It's already late. Come baby, let's go."

"..It's not that..just..just come back home safely," Alex nervously said.

Luna just nodded slightly and enters her car. Alex watched until her car vanish before he closes the door. He went into the bedroom and saw the files that Luna's talking about. He slowly lowers his body and leaning on the headboard. He looks through the files and praises Luna for her jobs.

At Mu Corp.

Luna going into her office with Lily in tow. She accommodates her on the guest area inside her office as usual.

"Baby, if there's something you need, you have to ask me, okay? I'm doing my jobs over there."

Lily nodded and smiled. Luna kisses her and pats her head before she sits on her chair and reviewing her pending workpapers.

After some times, she makes a call using the office phone.

"Hello Linda. Good morning. Is CEO Mu inside? Can you schedule an appointment for me? - she taps her fingers on the table - "Yes..if possible, today itself."

Luna waits for Linda's confirmation.

"Lunch hour? Sure..it's good. Thank you, Linda."

Luna glances at her wristwatch and notices she has two hours before the appointed time. She makes herself a cup of black coffee and continue her works. She makes several calls regarding the Mu Corp's new product. She needs to ensure that all the necessary materials and equipments needed to build the product are ready.

The office phone ringing jolted Luna from her concentration.

"Mrs Luna, the CEO is waiting in his office."

Luna looks at her watch and realised it's already 11.55am.

"Ah..yes. Thank you."

Luna jumps on her feet and rearrange the files. She picks her backpack and a medium size tote bag and strode to Lily's direction. She tidy her up for a bit before they get into the elevator.

"Sweetheart, when we get inside the room later, be a good girl as before, alright?"

Lily looks up at her mother and nodded happily.

"Ma..ma..ma.."

"Yes baby. I love you."

"Ding."

They walk out and Linda smiles at her.

"Just go in Mrs Luna."

Luna nodded in gratitude.

She knocks on the door and waiting for a while before she opens the door and walks in.

"Good day, CEO Mu."

Micheal ushers them to take a seat the couch, which Luna gladly comply.

She takes a seat with her back towards the door. So she does not sees the other three person who come in slightly after her.

"Baby, are you comfortable?" - Lily nods her head. - "This is your lunch. Dig in. Mommy needs to discuss something with the CEO first, okay?"

Lily nodded her head again and kiss her mother's cheek.

"You're welcome, sweetie."

She smiled indulgently at Lily.

"That CEO Mu, can we st...?

Luna turns her head and stood up, shocked speechless when she sees the men standing beside the couch that she was seated.

They have different expressions on their face. Micheal rubs his nose awkwardly with guilty expression. Jason stood gaping with disbelief expression pasted on his face. Calvin has a glad and complicated expression on his face. While the last person, Danial has an unreadable expression with slight anger in his eyes.

They continue to stare at each other. The tension in the room increased.

"Pa..pa..pa.."

The tugging on his sleeve and the childish voice of a little girl broke Danial and the others from their stunned states. He looks down and sees a mini version of Luna at his side, tugging his sleeve.

Nobody realised when she stands there.

"Pa..pa..pa.."

Luna is stunned and I'm disbelief when she hears it for the first time. Then when she hears it for the second time, she rushed towards Lily and crouches before her.

"B..baby..baby..what did you say? What did you say just now?"

Lily is confused with her mother question. So she says it again.

"Pa..pa..pa.."

Luna looks up and saw Danial staring at her. She bows her head and hugs her daughter tightly. She felt happy and complicated at the same time. Her daughter had pronounce another word 'pa', but the man that she called as her dad is not her biological father.

"Baby..you had pronounce another word..that's good. But..but..he's not your father."

Danial is angry when he heard what Luna had said. But it's the truth. He is not the father of the child. When Lily tugging on his sleeve and called him 'pa..pa', he felt an unknown emotion rushed inside him.

Meanwhile, the other three were stunned when the situation unfolded in different direction.

Suddenly, they hear a loud wail coming from the child. They turns towards her direction and froze. Lily was cluthing and hugging Danial leg while slapping Luna's hand who trying to take her from Danial. Danial just stood there like a statue.

"Baby..baby..listen to me, please. He's really not your father. Come here, please..Lily sweetheart."

The tears poured down her cheeks and smudge her make up. But she seems didn't care.

Luna wants to pry open Lily's hand from Danial's leg but she was hesitant. She steels her heart and come closer to Danial's position. But Lily continuously slapping her hands away.

"Lily! Stop throwing tantrum. Come here," Luna shouted.

She was stress. When she saw Lily's pitiful face, she takes a very deep breath.

"I'm so sorry baby..I'm sorry..but..but..he's-"

"Stop it."

Danial snapped at Luna and bends down to pick Lily up from the floor. He strode to the couch with Lily hugging his neck.

"Bring me some warm towels."
