49 Cheese~

Saturday night in the campus is as lively as ever. Many students decided to spend their free time at the plaza, as they watch their friends or other students playing basketball on the nearby courts. Laughters and cheers could be heard all around.

Among them, four male students stood at one side of the plaza, waiting for something or someone.

"Hey, hey..we're here..we're here."

Micheal waves at Wang Hua and LinLin, who is carrying some tote bags. They are looking around the plaza, searching for someone. He quickly rush towards them and helps them carrying two tote bags.

"Wooohooo..these smells so nice. I can't wait to have a taste."

They arrived together at the group spot and put down the tote bags on the tiles. Wang Hua greets them and start to look at Jason and Micheal questioningly.

"What, what?"

"Where's the picnic blanket that I gave to you before?"

Micheal and Jason gaped then started running back to their dorm to pick the blanket. Minutes later, the duo came back, bend on their waist trying to catch their breath. Danial just shakes his head and takes the blanket and unfold it on the floor.

"You two buffoons should exercise more. Just half kilometres back and forth and you already out of breath. Tsk," Calvin mocked.

Everyone sit down in a circle and the girls started to brought out several containers containing some foods. They took out three large bottles of purple water and some disposable plates, cups, forks and spoons too.

"Woww..everything looks delicious and smells so divine. You really cook this?"

Jason asked Wang Hua.

Wang Hua smiled and says, "Dig in."

Everyone serves themselves some of the foods and start eating.

"Of course she do. If not her, you? ceitt.."

"You..! I didn't ask you, stinky girl. As if you're the one cooking."

"Spit it all..spit it back!"

"What?"

"She's the one that cook the spaghetti. Yummy, isn't?" Wang Hua cheekily said.

Jason looks at his plate and cough violently. Micheal pass him a cup of water.

"Serve you right," he whispered.

"It's not as yummy as it looked," Jason mumbled.

"Yeah, says the scoundrel that finished a plate of spaghetti in few minutes."

Everyone laughed when they saw Jason's face, as if he had swallowed a fly.

"Hey, Hua'er..I mean to ask you before. What is this drink?"

Micheal points at the bottles.

"Ah! It's just a ribena sprite. You don't like it?"

"No..no..I do. It's just I never tasted it before."

Everyone eating while Micheal and Jason shared whatever they had been doing and experienced in the market.

"It's really a nice market. The people are so friendly and kind. I got everything extra for my purchases. Hahaha.."

"Yeah, his skills in brown-nosing others is top notch," LinLin quipped.

"And it's also because I have a handsome face."

Everyone laughed and continue to eat until they felt full. There is no leftover as they had vacuumed all.

"Ah~ This is really nice. I got to eat some homemade foods. Although it's not as exquisite as in the five stars hotel, it's still the yummiest. Thank you, Hua'er," Micheal said.

Everyone followed suit.

Wang Hua smile and nodded.

"It's nothing. It's just a simple gratitude from us both."

"If I want to eat something in the future, can I request it from you?" Micheal asked unashamedly.

Danial and Calvin glares at him, but he just sticking his tongue out.

"Sure, if I had some free time. If I cook something else in the future, I'll make sure to save some for you."

"Woohooo..you're the best!"

"I want too," Jason sulked.

"Yes..yes..I mean for everyone of you. Can't let Micheal get the food for himself, right?" Wang Hua jested.

Everyone beamed while Micheal sulked.

"Hua'er, can I ask you something?" Calvin asked.

"Sure, what-"

"If you want to know either she has a boyfriend, nope, she doesn't. So many men try to pursue her, even some send her flowers, love letters, chocolates..but she rejects all. Tsk..tsk..tsk..it's a pity."

"LinLin!"

LinLin sticks her tongue out and cheekily smiled at her. Danial smiling happily inside his heart.

'Thank God.'

Calvin cleared his throat.

"Umm..thanks for the info, but that's not what I want to ask her about."

"What is it?" Wang Hua asked.

"Umm..how old are you? Umm..just that you look so young."

Wang Hua smiled.

"It's because I'm really young. I'm eighteen this year."

LinLin laughs and rolls on the floor when she sees the men's dumbfounded face.

"WHAT?!?" Jason and Micheal exclaimed loudly.

"Seriously?" Calvin asked, unconvinced.

"She's really eighteen, nope..she's still seventeen. She'll be eighteen in two months," LinLin explained while clutching her stomach.

"WHAT?! Seriously?" Micheal gaped.

They all have a comical and incredulous expression on their face.

Wang Hua just nodded sheepishly.

"I..I skipped a grade during primary school, and another grade during high school."

"Woowww!! You're a genius," Jason exclaimed.

Danial is shocked too, eventhough he try to control his expression.

'No wonder she looks so young. We had two years gap between us. It's just nice.'

"No, I'm not. I just study hard..maybe more harder than anyone else. That's all."

"Woohooo..I've a genius as a friend."

"Remember, I'll kicks your balls if any of you dare to bully her. Hmmpphh!"

Wang Hua helplessly shaking her head.

"Wait, wait.. Let's commerate our friendship in a picture," Micheal said while he takes out his phone.

Everyone agreed and sit closer with each other.

"Closer, closer.. At the back, Hua'er move closer to Danial. Jason moves a bit back...." Micheal busy instructing them so they all can fit in the screen.

They move as per his request and Danial takes the opportunity to place his hand behind her back, as if embracing her. Wang Hua could feel Danial's warmth radiated from his body and she blushed.

"Alright..that's better. One, two, cheese~~~"
