48 Bella Song

The next morning.

"Where the hell is Mike? We has promised to meet here at 7am."

"Be patient, LinLin. It's just 7.05am."

A car's horn jolted them both. They turn to the side and sees two cars parked near them. Micheal excitedly waves at them.

"Here, here..come, come."

They strode to the cars and everyone alighted.

"Umm..this car..is too eye-catching."

Wang Hua inspecting the white Audi Q3 Sportback in front of her. Then she looks at another car.

"That's more extravagant and two seater. Umm..don't you have other car?" she asked no one.

"Eh, this is good. There's no other car, except Jason sport's car. It's also two seater," Micheal said.

"Euu..don't want his car , even it's four seater. His taste in car might be as bad as his face too."

"You..!"

Wang Hua rubs her temple. She felt troubled.

'These rich young men.'

"Wait! Are you coming with us?" LinLin asked when she realized Jason stood at the side of the short-gun seat.

"Yes..yes..he is."

"What?!! No way. I don't want to sit in the same car as him. He might fart later."

"You..! As if I want to stay near you..yukkss.."

"Hey..hey..you guys..stop it. That duo has a tra-"

"We've something else to do. Jason is alone, so he joins you," Danial intercepted.

He felt really unlucky and gloomy that he missed the opportunity to has a date with her..well..unofficial date.

Wang Hua nodded, understood.

"So, shall we go now? I'm excited," Micheal exclaimed.

They nodded and everyone get into their respective car. Before long, the cars accelerate in different directions.

"Beep."

Wang Hua unlocked her phone and check the message.

'Be safe. Take care. -Danial.'

She smiled softly and replied, 'You too.'

Compared to the duo car, their car has a cheerful atmosphere. After Wang Hua told Micheal the direction, they continue to talk about the market, their favourite foods and so on. Well, occasionally there's a round of bickering between LinLin and Jason.

"Hey, hey..turns on the radio. The Hitz channel," LinLin requested.

Soon, a song blaring inside the car while they humming and singing along.

"Wow..this market is huge. I thought it was just 'a market'. Hey Hua'er, that foods that they displayed on their table, can we eat them?"

Micheal pointed at some of the foods testers.

"Yup..it's a tester. Some people want to know how it taste before they buy the products. So the sellers put the testers out. Go on then. Try some."

Micheal excitedly steps forward and take a bite.

"Woooohoooo..this is really tasty. Aunt, aunt..how did you made them tasted this delicious?"

The aunt told him the general process.

"I don't really understand, but I think it might be because of your great skills, Aunt."

Micheal buys some and he get some other things because of his top notch brown-nosing skills.

"I'll gladly ask you to tag along another time, Mike," LinLin exclaimed excitedly.

"Hahaha..sure, sure.."

They leisurely tour around the market and buys more ingredients.

Meanwhile, on their way to the company, Danial mood turns slightly better when he got Wang Hua reply. Before long, they arrived at the Li Corporation and parked.

"Hahaha..that's good, that's good. Ah! Here come the boys. Danial, Calvin, come here."

The duo enter the CEO office with indifferent face.

"This is my friend, Song Jing and that's her daughter, umm..yes..Bella Song. This is my son, Danial and my nephew, Calvin."

The duo greets them, "Hello."

"Oh, she studying in the same university as you, perhaps your junior."

Li Hui turns to Bella, "What's your course again?"

"It's civil engineering, Uncle Li," she smiled bashfully.

"Ah! Yes..she just admitted in the university, so she's your junior."

"Nope."

The duo answer simultaneously. Bella's smile dropped.

"If nothing else, we take our leave first," Calvin said.

Then, he and Danial nodded slightly and left the room.

"Don't mind them, they're always serious and indifferent," Li Hui said, trying to ease the awkward atmosphere.

'That boys..tsk.'

"Come, come, has more tea."

Bella staring at the duo with slight anger in her eyes until they completely disappeared.

Danial and Calvin enter their own small office respectively and doing their trainings. They occasionally enter each other office to inquire about something they felt unsure.

Danial's phone beeped twice. He quickly unlocked his phone as that is a notification tone he had set for Wang Hua.

'We just arrived at the campus. Umm..when are you coming back? - Hua'er.'

Before he could reply, another message come.

'Umm..I'll cook later. What do you want to eat? I mean..just to express my gratitude for lending us your car. That's it. - Hua'er.'

Danial felt he's in cloud nine. He excitedly jumping, running and screaming inside his mind. For him, it doesn't matter if it just because of her gratefulness but she's willing to cook for him, his favourite. He glances at his watch and quickly reply.

'Been there around 6pm. I love chicken quesadillas the most. Other French, Italian food too, but anything is fine.'

'As long as you make it.' He continue inside his heart.

He quickly finishing his works and he urge Calvin to do the same. At 5.30pm, they are already on their way to the campus.
