42 EVERYONE!!!! Look At The Sky

" You may not kiss the bride my foot, we have all been waiting for that"

" Look at such a beauty and you want to leave her hanging by not letting the two wedded couple kiss, how brutal for a priest"

" Whoa I've been looking forward to the good part, who knew it could get ruined by such an hottie?"

Comments followed through the air after the round of gasps from everyone. Mabel stared at Holden to find him smirking at the crowd like this wasn't any of his problems. Why cause a ruckus when you didn't have anything else to say? It was nice that he saved her from kissing Luke and all but seriously, the way he smirked was like he didn't care what they thought, who does that? This guy must sure love hitting people in the wrong way.

" Ahem...", Luke cleared his throat to get everyone's attention but the crowd was not even sparing him a single glance. He stared at Jace who quickly understood and screamed. " EVERYONE LOOK AT THE SKY", he yelled out very loudly that all the chattering stopped and everyone stared at the sun before retracting their eyes to the person who screamed for something as foolish as staring at the sky.

" What's up with Jace today?", Lina asked and Petra who was seated next to her shook her head not understanding what was wrong with the guy either. " I dunno what's up with him but I am thinking it's getting somewhere", she said while whistling in some kind of annoying way because she didn't do it right.

"Ahem!!!", Luke cleared his throat again and everyone turned to stare at him. " Whatever Holden said wasn't his fault, I can't kiss the bride", he said to hear multiple gasps, again. The groom was saying he couldn't kiss the bride, why was that. They all understood this was some sort of fake wedding and some things were even turned upside down but like seriously, kissing of the couples should be an exception because wasn't it a thrill for them teens to kiss?

" Does she have mouth sores?"

" Or is she ashamed to kiss in public?"

" Does she not like the taste of you?"

Ok the questions were starting to get quite out of place. Why did Luke had to add such a long dramatic pause? Mabel found herself getting frustrated instead of nervous, I mean the fake wedding was taking another turn entirely, now she was literally regretting ever being in the idea, it was like brain wrecking.

" What Luke means is simply simple", Mabel finally spoke to hear the place quiet down immediately as everyone turned to stare at her. Breathing in and out she calmed herself down with the thought that she could handle this. Afterwards she spoke once more.

" We all actually know that Luke doesn't live around here and his stay is only for a short period of time. I also know that you all might have come from your homes expecting to have fun and Party at a wedding that is once for teenagers and not adults of likely twenty three. Well sorry to say this but Luke has an actual girlfriend, her name is Regina and she's actually pretty, she didn't have a problem with Luke having fun on a pretend wedding

" She just left him one rule, not to have too much fun and we girls and guys should know a bit about that kind of rule. Luke obviously couldn't kiss me just for your satisfaction as he figured that would be going against Regina so he let Holden conclude the wedding in that form", Mabel finished speaking for the others to slowly nod in understanding.

Some guys even joked at the fact that Luke was still restrained even though he was far away. Mabel threw away her one red rose and it fell on top of some strange person's head who didn't even seem to notice as the person just walked away along with the crowd, heading for the reception.

" So much for keeping the tradition of throwing Bouquets", Luke mocked as he walked side by side with Mabel. There was one important factor that she missed in her memories of him. So basically he was a psychopath because she could still remember how he had dropped by Holden's room that day just to give her pain killers.

" At least I kept it safe", she said and he nodded without another word. They were both heading to the other side of the beach where the reception was happening, more like a teenage drunk party. "You know I don't actually have a girlfriend right?", he asked her stopping for a while causing her to halt in her footsteps too.

" I was clever enough to guess you for a trouble maker. I know nothing about you Luke, really. I won't also deny to making that stuff about Regina up. The crowd was going rampage and something had to be done", Mabel said and continued walking ahead of him. She acted like it wasn't much of a big deal but it was, she couldn't remember the last time she lied so blatantly, it was as if she were telling a story of some sort that everyone literally bought

He quickly hurried ahead to her side and got to hear her mumble softly to him. " When next you visit, count me out of your crazy ideas Luke, literally, this was one huge catastrophe, I think I'll pass the other ones", she said and laughed softly.

Luke appeared to be in thoughts for a while before agreeing with her, this was one crazy catastrophe, at least it was finally off their backs. They soon made their way to the middle of the beach, to have that couple's dance they literally didn't practice for.
