"Fine. What do you want? What would it take for you to leave me alone?" Jade was already tired and if it was to dine with him, she may consider it, so long as he left her alone. 

The last thing she wanted on her mission was falling in love and getting distracted from her goal not to speak of, for a guy to pester her. 

Even though he looked handsome, guys like this carried danger with them everywhere they go and Jade being the ever careful and free girl, wanted no part in that. 

Says who she wanted to belong to anybody.

Jade waited patiently to listen to his request and see if she could grant it or ignore him. 

Worse, she could have Arctic give him a sound warning and he would stay away. 

Feeling confident that she got it under control, Jade smiled at Xander, urging him to go on. 

"Simple. BECOME MINE."
