Visiting

After some time of thinking, Alexander finally went out of his room to look for Sabrina.

Their morning kind of didn't start right. He needed to explain himself to her.

Alexander found her inside her room, wrapping herself around a blanket.

"Go away Alexander," Sabrina said as soon as she saw Alexander enter her room.

"Baby let's talk," Alexander said as he approached Sabrina

"No, I know you're going to blame me. I punched you even though it's my fault," Sabrina answered. She covered her face with her blanket.

"Hey, I'm totally the one at fault here okay? Now talk to me please?" Alexander held the blanket and pulled it gently, "Look at me baby," Alexander said in a gentle tone.

"I don't want to. I'm embarrassed with myself," Sabrina looked away from Alexander.

"Yesterday was my fault okay? I couldn't control myself," Alexander said, "It wasn't your fault that you were drunk yesterday and that you begged me to sleep with you and that you threw yourself at me and kissed me and---"

"Alexander!" Sabrina shouted. She turned and faced Alexander with a death glare.

Alexander chuckled, "Okay okay chill, I'm just messing with you," he said, while raising both of his hands like he was surrendering. Then his eyes suddenly turned gentle, he held Sabrina's face and looked at her in the eyes, "But seriously, I'm sorry baby that I couldn't control myself yesterday. I'm the man and I shouldn't have taken advantage of you like that, but I promise that's the last time that will happen," Alexander held Sabrina's head and kissed her on the forehead.

She was drunk by accident and she didn't know what she was doing that time. Alexander knew that he was the one at fault.

Sabrina held Alexander's hand and smiled at him, "I know you respect me," she said.

Although Alexander had kissed her a few times in sudden, it wasn't like she was against it. He never forced himself to her.

"Have you eaten?" Alexander asked while looking at her lovingly.

"Not yet, I punched you first thing in the morning," Sabrina lowered her head.

"Yeah that was the most violent morning I have ever had," Alexander teased which made Sabrina punch him in the chest, "I'm just kidding baby," Alexander chuckled, "I still love you even though you're brutal," he said then placed a chaste kiss on Sabrina's lips.

"I hate you," Sabrina glared at him.

"You love me," Alexander winked at her, "I'll make us some food, wanna help?" he asked her and Sabrina nodded in response.

Both of them headed downstairs and went straight to the kitchen.

"What do you want to eat?" Alexander asked as he wore an apron, but Sabrina stopped him from tying it.

"Why don't you let me cook for you?" Sabrina asked, "I mean you've been cooking for me ever since I got here and uhmm…"

"Sure, I'd love to eat the food you make," Alexander said which made Sabrina smile.

"Though I only know how to cook one dish," Sabrina said while she tied her apron.

"As long as you cook it for me," Alexander smiled.

Sitting on the kitchen counter, Alexander watched Sabrina as she worked on the kitchen. Sautéing, slicing, frying, boiling, Sabrina looked like she completely mastered the kitchen.

"You look like a master chef there Ms. Walker," Alexander suddenly said.

"Really?" Sabrina turned her head and smiled at Alexander.

"Yeah, you look really sexy," Alexander leaned back and crossed his legs.

"I'll stay in the kitchen then," Sabrina said, which made both of them chuckle.

After running around the kitchen, Sabrina finally placed everything in a large pan and served it with red wine.

"Let's eat?" Sabrina said as she sat down opposite from Alexander.

"Coq au vin," Alexander said while he reached out for his fork and started to eat, "Wow, this really tastes good. You learned to cook this yourself?" he asked as his eyes sparkled.

"I'm glad you liked it and no, my grandma taught me how to cook this," Sabrina answered with a smile on her face.

Alexander suddenly paused himself from eating upon hearing what Sabrina said, "Baby, can I ask you something?" he asked.

"Yeah sure, what is it?"

"How is your Uncle's relationship with your grandmother?" Alexander asked.

"Awful," Sabrina straight up answered the question.

"Why?" Alexander raised his brow.

"I don't know, ever since I was a kid, I always hear them bickering here and there. My grandma doesn't like Uncle Julian very much. I guess because he was grandpa's son from another woman," Sabrina shrugged, "But Uncle Julian is a very good man, he was the one who took care of me when my parents were always away from work. He was also my playmate at home. I felt really sad when he moved away to make distance from grandma. I just hope that grandma will see the good in him soon," she sighed.

"You think he's a good man?"

"Of course, because he really is."

"If he does something that might hurt you, will you forgive him?" Alexander asked.

"I know he has his own reasons for doing what he did."

"Even if he ends up killing someone?"

"That I don't know, but he's not that kind of man. I know my Uncle very well," Sabrina answered.

"What about inheritance? Did your grandfather leave him with any or what?"

"Hmm, I actually don't know about that. But from what I know Uncle Julian wasn't interested in the family business. His interest was film," she said then looked at Alexander weirdly, "Why were you suddenly asking by the way?" she asked while she chewed some bacon in her mouth.

"Nothing, I was just curious," he answered her with a smile then Sabrina's phone suddenly rang.

She looked at the caller ID and picked her phone up immediately, "Let me just answer this," Sabrina excused herself from Alex then stood up and left the kitchen to answer her call.

After Sabrina left, Alexander received a phone call too.

"What's up?" he said as soon as he answered the phone call.

"I currently have a plan on how to make Jacob breach the contract. Do you have time to visit here?" Daniel spoke.

"Yeah, be there later," Alexander answered then ended the call.

Suddenly, Sabrina came running back to the kitchen.

"We have a problem," Sabrina said while catching her breath, "My parents and grandparents plan to visit me," she said.

"What?" Alexander exclaimed.

When things are already messed up, then it gets more messed up.

"Oh this is not good," Alexander whispered to himself.

Yeah pretty messed up...
