"Yes dad, I just sealed the deal earlier," Jacob spoke through the phone.
"That's good news then," his old man said, "I heard that your girlfriend from before is there shooting a movie, you better not do anything Jacob. You know the consequences," his dad said.
"You don't have to repeat that every single time. How long has it been huh dad? 5 years?" Jacob answered in a disrespectful manner then ended the call.
For 5 years, he stripped himself of happiness for Sabrina's sake. Every day, he was always reminded of how he had to live this way for the person he loved.
For Sabrina.
But now, now for once in his life, he wanted to follow his heart, make his own decisions. He wanted to fight for himself, for her.
And now should be the right time.
Jacob raised his phone and dialed his secretary's phone number.
"How's the signing going?" Jacob asked as soon as his secretary answered.
��Sir we already have 10 signatures out of 15 from the board. It's already enough to kick the president out of his position Sir," his secretary answered.
"That's good then. When is the general shareholder's meeting?"
"It's 2 weeks from now Sir."
"Okay, I'll be back by then. For the time being, make sure that my dad won't know anything about this," Jacob said then he ended the call.
A sinister smile formed on his lips.
Once he takes over his dad's company, there's nothing that can hold him back from getting Sabrina back. He had planned this carefully since a long time ago and everything was finally about to fall in place.
"You're the only one missing Sabrina," he said to himself.
In another place.
"Are you going somewhere?" Sabrina asked when she saw Alexander changed into his business attire.
"I need to visit the company. We're going to open a new business, I have to be hands on," Alexander answered, "Can you help me with this?" he asked, lifting the tie he was holding.
"Sure," Sabrina said as she walked closer to him. She took the tie from his hands and started to tie it around his neck.
"My mom taught me how to tie this when I was 15, she told me that I need to learn it for my future husband," Sabrina smiled at the memory.
"Well I think it has come to use now," said Alexander as a smile also formed on his lips.
"There, all done," Sabrina said.
"Thank you baby," Alexander said, "I'll go now, you take care of yourself while I'm away okay?" he leaned forward and kissed Sabrina on the forehead.
Suddenly, Sabrina pulled Alexander's necktie and kissed him on the lips, "You take care too," she said as she smiled to him.
"Now I don't want to go," he said, holding Sabrina's face.
Once again, Sabrina tiptoed and kissed him, "Don't be a lazy CEO," she said.
"Wait for me to come home okay?" Alexander said and Sabrina nodded in response.
She didn't want to hold back her feelings anymore. She was his girlfriend. She can't be embarrassed by doing simple gestures like this.
Sabrina wanted to show Alexander how much she appreciated him. He was always the one being expressive of his feelings and wanted to reciprocate it. She wanted to show him, make him feel that he was loved by her.
Inside the car, Alexander maintained a smiling face throughout the ride.
Grey, who was driving, can't help it but stare at Alexander weirdly. He looked like a completely crazy person right now, smiling all by himself.
"How cute," Alexander spoke to himself.
"What was that Sir?" Grey asked.
Snapping out of reality, Alexander's smile evaporated as he raised his brows on Grey, "You were saying?" he asked him.
"Nothing Sir," Grey immediately answered. He realized that Alexander was talking to himself.
After 15 minutes, Grey and Alexander finally arrived at their destination.
"Have a seat Alexander," Director Walker said as soon as Alexander and Grey arrived inside his office, "Let me get the script for you," he said.
"Script?" Grey asked Alexander confusedly.
Several days ago, Alexander went to visit Director Walker. He wanted to apply for the new male lead for the movie 'Encounter'. Director Walker asked him to act out some parts of the script before he was accepted.
Although he hated celebrities and acting was way out of his league, he wanted to do this for Sabrina.
Primary reason was his Uncle. Alexander was afraid that he might do something to Sabrina. He can't bear the thought of her getting injured again.
Sabrina was lucky that she only received a minor injury right now, but what about in the future? He may actually kill her already.
Alexander has the option to shut down this production, but he knew that this film was important to Sabrina. It's the big break of her career.
He had no choice but to move in silent.
"Here's the script. We'll be starting the shoot as soon as Sabrina's completely recovered," Director Walker sat opposite to Alexander.
"I'll make sure to practice my lines," Alexander said as he received the script from Director Walker.
"That's good then," Director Walker said, "I never imagined that a manager like you can be so talented in acting. You're a hidden gem Alex. Don't you want to enter the entertainment business?" he asked.
He was still amazed by Alexander when he came to audition. His acting was on point! Completely flawless and all so natural!
"No thanks, I'm just doing this for Sabrina," Alexander answered.
"Oh right! Speaking of Sabrina, can I have her current address? I want to visit my niece," Director Walker asked.
"I'm sorry Director Walker. I can't give it to anyone. It's for safety purposes," Alexander said.
"But I'm her Uncle, I won't do anything to her," Director Walker chuckled.
"Really Director Walker?" Alexander asked as he smiled at Director Walker meaningfully.
"Of course! I won't do anything to hurt my beloved niece," he answered, "She's like a daughter to me Alexander," he added.
Alexander's gaze darkened but he kept a calm composure. As much as he wants to tear this man's face right now, he kept in mind that he was an important person to Sabrina. He can't make a move for now.
"I'll ask her to call you then," Alexander smiled, "We'll be taking our leave now Director Walker. I'm looking forward to working with you soon," he said as he stood up.
"Me too," Director Walker said, "But wait can I ask you one thing?" he stopped Alexander.
Halting his steps, Alexander turned around, "Sure Director, what is it?" he asked.
"I've been thinking about this ever since I saw you, I mean have we met before? You really look familiar; may I know your full name?"
"I'm Alexander Grande," he answered, then turned around to leave.
Left alone, Director Walker fell into a deep thought.

The name sounded really familiar.
"Who was he again?" he asked himself.
After several minutes of thinking, he suddenly gasped at his surprise as he already realized who he was.
An ominous smile formed on his lips, "Look at my niece having a huge backing," he spoke to himself, "This is good then, I can kill 2 birds with one stone," he added.
Alexander Grande, how unlucky could you be to associate yourself with Sabrina?
"Sir may I ask why you're suddenly entering acting? As far as I remember, you hated celebrities right?" Grey asked curiously as he entered the car.
"For the person you love, you can do hypocritical things. I need to protect her," Alexander answered, "About the person I asked you to monitor Director Walker, do you have news now?" he asked.
"He said that Director Walker was pretty normal for the past few days, he didn't leave his house often and he didn't do anything out of the normal," Grey reported.
"Good, tell him to continue to monitor him," Alexander instructed.
"I've been curious Sir, why are you suddenly all eyes on Director Walker?"
"He wants Sabrina dead," he answered casually. Alexander pulled out a pen recorder from his suit pocket and handed it to Grey, "Here take a listen to it, I need you to be knowledgeable. I will need your help on this," Alexander said.
Grey held the pen and kept it inside his pocket, "I'll listen to it as soon as we get home Sir," he said and Alexander just nodded in response.
What could be the content of this? He was curious.
