40 Mr. Unknown

"Right now, he's currently at the entrance of our neighborhood. He's looking for you," he answered her.

"Looking for me? Why?"

"I don't know either,"

"That man is completely nuts! How did he even find me? What the heck?" Sabrina vented.

"Ready to meet your old lover?"

"Ugh please, that's disgusting," Sabrina rolled her eyes on Alexander.

He just chuckled and started to drive away.

Arriving at the guard post, Alexander immediately unbuckled his seatbelt, "Do you want to go with me?" he asked Sabrina.

"You don't need me, go deal with him alone," she answered him.

"Okay then," Alexander leaned forward and placed a kiss on her lips before he left the car.

"Mr. Grande!" the guard greeted upon seeing him.

"Where's the visitor?" he asked.

"I'm here," a voice sounded from behind him.

Alexander turned around and looked at the man like he was familiarizing himself, "I'm sorry, do I know you?" Alexander questioned him.

Jacob looked at Alexander weirdly. He didn't know him?

"I'm Jacob Lockwood, the CEO of Lockwood Corporation. Don't you know?" he raised his brows.

"Do I need to know you? And Lockwood Corporation? Never heard of that, is that an amusement park or a kiddie playground?" Alexander answered sarcastically.

Jacob immediately felt his blood boil, but he kept his composure, "Haha I didn't know CEO Grande is much of a joker," he said.

"Do I look like I'm joking?" Alexander pointed at his face which currently looked apathetic, "For a man who I personally don't know, why are you here?" he asked, emphasizing the words 'i don't know'.

Jacob's hand balled into fists. This man was currently stepping on his ego. By saying that he didn't know him, basically means that he didn't find him as a threat.

He was belittling him!

"Are you mocking me CEO Grande?" Jacob said in gritted teeth.

Alexander acted shocked, "Oh is it that obvious?" he said sarcastically.

Jacob couldn't contain his anger anymore grabbed Alexander's shirt, "Where's Sabrina huh?" he asked him angrily.

"Careful Mr. I don't know, this shirt is limited edition and costs a couple of thousands!" Alexander complained but Jacob just tightened his grip on his shirt.

"I don't care how much this costs, I can buy you another hundred pairs of this. Now tell me where is Sabrina?"

Getting annoyed already, Alexander gripped Jacob's hand and pulled it down, "I said careful with my shirt," he said in gritted teeth.

"And why the hell are you looking for Sabrina? What are you even to her?" Alexander questioned him.

"I'm her boyfriend, got a problem?"

Alexander suddenly laughed, "Are you on drugs? I think you're being to delusional," Alexander mocked him, swirling his index finger near his temple.

"Ask her yourself," Jacob said confidently.

"Are you sure? I don't think that's a good idea," Alexander shook his head.

"Why scared to hear the truth?" Jacob answered arrogantly which made Alexander chuckle.

"No I'm just afraid that you'll end up shooting your own foot," he said then turned around to fetch Sabrina.

"What's took you so long?" Sabrina asked Alexander as soon as he opened the car door.

"I'm sorry baby, but I need you to come with me for a moment," he said then placed his hand in front of her.

Sabrina immediately handed her hand and Alexander helped her get out of the car.

Alexander didn't let her hand go as they walked towards the guard house.

"What do you need me for Alex?" she asked but her eyes instantly caught a sight of someone.

"Do you know this man baby?" Alexander asked her.

Sabrina looked at the man from head to toe.

"Sabrina I'm here," Jacob stepped forward.

"I'm sorry but who are you?"

Jacob's steps suddenly stopped, "What do you mean sweetie? It's me Jacob," he said.

Sabrina turned to look at Alexander, "Who is this man baby?" she asked him.

"He's claiming that he's your boyfriend."

Sabrina's brows immediately raised, "I only have you baby, I don't know this man," she pointed at Jacob.

"Sweetie what are you saying?" Jacob tried to approach her but he was blocked by Alexander.

"I guess it's already clear Mr. Unknown, now can you please leave?"

"No! She's just denying it! Sweetie please tell him the truth," Jacob pleaded but the guard already walked towards him.

"You're already disturbing our residents Sir, it's best that you leave immediately or I'm calling the cops," the guard spoke.

Unwillingly, Jacob stepped back, "I'm coming back sweetie, wait for me," he said and turned around to leave.

"Never let that man in," Alexander instructed the guard and turned to leave with Sabrina.

As soon as they boarded the car, Alexander looked at Sabrina with a wide smile on his face.

"What?" Sabrina asked him.

"Call me baby one more time," he said.

"No way. Drive, I'm hungry," Sabrina said irritably.

Alexander just chuckled, his mood lightened up the moment she called him baby.

Inside the car.

"Get me a house at Beverly Hills Gateway now! I want it near Alexander's!" Jacob instructed his secretary angrily.

"Sir are you serious?" his secretary asked him hesitantly.

"Do I sound like I'm joking!" Jacob shouted.

"No Sir.. It's just that we don't have budget for it," his secretary replied.

"What do you mean? I have a lot of money! I can buy any house I want!"

"But Sir houses at Beverly Hills Gateway are extremely expensive! A square meter costs 10 million dollar at minimum and a standard mansion in that neighborhood costs 10 billion at minimum. We can't afford that sir," the secretary explained worriedly.

They will for sure go bankrupt if his boss decided to buy a house in that place.

Frustrated, Jacob pulled over and threw his earpiece. He punched his steering wheel angrily.

"10 billion dollars?" he mumbled.

Jacob felt extremely angry right now. His ego was crushed by Alexander completely!

First when he mocked him, then when Sabrina denied him.

And now he can't even afford a house like his! How hurtful for his pride!

"I'll get you back Sabrina and I will destroy Alexander, just wait for me," he said then stepped on the accelerator.
