Goodnight

"Excuse me Mr. Grande, the footage you asked for is ready." a man said.

"Let's go." Alex then stood up and Sabrina followed behind him. Out of curiosity Sabrina asked him, "You seem to be well known here Mr. Grande, do you stay here often?" she asked.

"I own this hotel." he answered her and she responded with a long "Oooh". She was amazed by him. He's still so young but look at him, he's already so successful! She wondered if she hadn't entered the entertainment industry, would she be as successful as him too?

Soon they reached the Security department office.

"This is the footage you requested Sir." The man then played the footage. There were so many frames on the screen, a shot of every angle in the entire hotel.

Both Alex and Sabrina watched the footage attentively not wanting to miss any important scene.

"Fast forward it." instructed Alex, "There! Pause it there." Sabrina exclaimed as she pointed out a certain frame from the screen. It was a shot from the parking lot.

"Play it back a little," Alexander said and the man clicked the mouse a few times.

In the footage, there was a man who wore an all black outfit. He was wearing a cap and a face mask, it was clearly to avoid the CCTV cameras to capture his face.

He was holding a tool box. He then kneeled and opened the toolbox. He brought out certain tools then started to work on something in the car.

Sabrina knew that he was messing with her breaks.

After the man finished his job, he dialed a number, and mouthed 'It's done'. Although audio can't be heard, Alex and Sabrina were able to read the man's mouth.

It's confirmed! It was clearly a set up to get rid of her.

"I want you to review all the footage here and submit to me all the videos where that man appears. I want it all done by tomorrow." He ordered them. He brought out his phone then took some pictures of the man on the screen.

"Understood Sir, I'll have it prepared." the man answered.

Alex and Sabrina walked out of the hotel. After seeing them the valet boy immediately collected Alexander's car and passed him the car keys.

Alexander opened the car for Sabrina once again, "Get in I'll take you to your hotel." he offered. Sabrina didn't bother to refuse anymore as she was already tired. She got in the car immediately and Alex closed the door for her. Soon, Alex also entered the driver's seat.

Sabrina immediately buckled her own seatbelt not wanting to repeat what happened a few hours ago. Alexander chuckled a little because of this.

"Thank you so much for your help CEO Grande, it means so much." she thanked him from the bottom of her heart.

"It's nothing," he answered. Oh yeah, he was bored, Sabrina remembered.

During the ride, the atmosphere between them was much lighter now compared earlier. The awkward feeling has now evaporated. This may have been all because of their conversation a while ago.

"Tomorrow the videos will be ready, I'll pick you up so we can look at it together." Alex said.

"Oh I have a shooting tomorrow," It is their first day of shooting tomorrow.

"Then I'll pick you up after, give me the address."

"There's really no need for CEO Grande, I can go back tomorrow by myself. I don't want to bother you." Sabrina waved her hands in front of Alex. Then suddenly the car stopped, the traffic light was on red. Alexander then faced her,

"What did I say about refusing me?" He leaned closer to her.

"Uh..O...Oka..y.. Give me your number. I'll contact you tomorrow." Sabrina stuttered. Alexander's face was so close! Her heart was beating so fast right now. She sighed in relief as soon as Alexander leaned back to his seat then brought out his phone, "Dial your number here and make a missed call, I can't use my phone. I'm driving." he said then the car moved because it was already on green.

Sabrina then grabbed the phone and dialed her own number and called it, "It's done." she said and returned the phone to him.

"What time will you be finished tomorrow?" he asked.

"I think we'll be finished by 8 pm if the schedule was followed."

"Send me the address, I'll pick you up tomorrow." Sabrina just nodded.

What a bossy person! She thought to herself. She wasn't used to being bossed around by people but she can't complain to this man obviously, if she still wants to live, she better shut her mouth.

Soon they arrived at the hotel where Sabrina is currently staying, it was already 11 pm and she wanted to rest now.

She unbuckled her seatbelt, "Thank you again CEO Grande for taking me back to the hotel, what can I do in return?" she asked. She was a person who didn't want owing people favors.

Alexander rubbed his chin as he was thinking about what he wanted, "How about you just call me by my first name? CEO Grande is too formal, we're friends now right?" he said. Sabrina was taken aback.

Friends, after a small talk they're now friends?

She really didn't want to agree to it because she feels like she's a person not worthy of calling him by his first name. She's a person of low status compared to him.

But at the same time she was scared of him, she remembered how he reacted when she refused him. She was nowhere curious of the consequences of refusing him so she just answered, "Okay."

She then got out of the car and was about to enter the hotel but she got called again by Alexander. She turned around to look, the window of his car was rolled down. He brought out his head and said, "Goodnight Sabrina."

Sabrina's heart suddenly races because of this. It was just a simple goodnight! Her face was heating up, but thankfully it was night time so it cannot be seen.

She then smiled and replied, "Goodnight Alexander." Then she turned around and rushed herself inside the hotel.

Alexander, who was inside the car, rolled his windows up. A smile formed on his face. His heart was jumping up and down on his chest.

She called him by his name!

He was completely delighted by it. It sounded so sweet to his ears. A lot of his friends call him by his name, but her calling him was on a different level. It made his heart race. And she also smiled while saying it!

This is it!

"Sabrina Pierce, you'll be mine." he said to himself, then started the engine and drove away.

Remembering the events that occured a earlier, he dialed a number on his car screen, "Hello Sir!" the voice from the other line greeted. It was a man.

"I want you to investigate something for me. I'll send you the details later." he said then hung up.

His gaze darkened. Based on the CCTV footage a while ago, he saw a tattoo on the man's hand. He knew what kind of tattoo that was.

It belonged to a notorious gang back in their country who kills for living. He wanted to track down whoever that person was.

He dared to hurt someone precious to him!

He'll make sure to hunt him and get back for what he did to Sabrina. He could've killed her today!
