"Uncle really asked you to do that?" Daniel asked Alexander in surprise.

"Yeah," Alexander replied weakly.

"What's the catch if you marry her?"

"My freedom," Alexander answered, "If I marry her, dad won't force me to come back here anymore," he said.

"That's messed up bro," Daniel commented, "What do you plan to do now?" he asked.

"I have no idea," Alexander said, "I don't even know that woman. Dad asked me to court her, date her and then marry her. I have 1 year to do everything," he explained.

"Why do you have to court and date her? Isn't this a fixed marriage?" Daniel asked.

"Apparently, the woman and the woman's family don't know anything about it. Dad said that he owes her family something and wanted to pay them by having them as family," Alexander explained.
