100 Broken Frame

The next morning, Sabrina woke up alone in bed. She rolled over to hug Alexander but he wasn't there anymore.

She sat up and checked her phone. It was 7 a.m. in the morning.

"Where did he go this early?" Sabrina asked. She turned to the side table and saw a note on top of it.

'I went out for an important business, be back at 5. Don't skip meals. See you later baby – Alex'

Sabrina smiled. She opened her phone and texted Alexander.

To: Bossy Alexander Grande

Take care! Don't skip meals too, okay? See you later, mwa :-*

As she pressed send, she realized that Alexander's contact name on her phone was still not changed. She immediately went to her contacts and clicked on his info.

"What should I name you?" she asked. Sabrina thought for a minute or so before she came up to a contact name she wanted for Alexander.

'My Bossy Baby <3'

Sabrina smiled at his contact.

Then a knock suddenly came at her door, "Sab! Are you awake?" Kenzie shouted outside of the door.

"Yeah!" Sabrina answered.

"I made breakfast, let's eat together," Kenzie said.

"Okay! I'll just freshen up!" Sabrina said.

She stood up from her bed immediately and went straight to the bathroom to wash her face and brush her teeth.

As Sabrina brushed her teeth, she noticed bruise-like marks on her neck. Her eyes instantly widened as she realized what they were. She grabbed the collar of her shirt and pulled it down to check.

There were more.

"Oh gosh," she said. Sabrina immediately rushed brushing her teeth and washing her face. Then, she ran back to her room and searched for her concealer. She walked towards the mirror and covered them one by one.

"Hide, hide," Sabrina spoke restlessly.

After applying a thick amount of concealer, she checked herself on the mirror once again to make sure that her love bites weren't visible anymore. Assured, she went out of her room and headed downstairs immediately.

But on her way out, she bumped into a cabinet and a frame fell down.

Sabrina picked it up and it was Alexander's photo.

The glass of the frame cracked.

"Why did you suddenly fall," Sabrina said. She suddenly felt heavy because of it.

The elders used to say that broken frames indicated bad omen, but she didn't want to think negatively.

"Should I call him?" Sabrina spoke worriedly.

She shook her head, "This is pure accident, nothing supernatural," she said. Without thinking too much into it, "I'll just fix you later," she returned the frame back in the shelf and ran down stairs immediately

"What took you so long to come down?" Kenzie interrogated her.

"I had to take a call," Sabrina reasoned out.

"But why do you look so nervous?" Kenzie asked.

"Me?" Sabrina pointed at herself, "I feel fine! Ha-ha!" she smiled awkwardly.

"Okay, if you say so," Kenzie shrugged.

Sabrina sighed in relief. She walked around the kitchen counter and sat opposite to Kenzie.

Both of them ate breakfast in silence until Kenzie decided to talk.

"Oh right," Kenzie started, "I heard a scream coming from Boss' room yesterday, what were you guys doing?" she asked, which made Sabrina choke on her food. She coughed out the food that was inside her mouth.

Kenzie immediately handed her a glass of water, "Are you okay?" she asked her worriedly while she patted Sabrina's back.

Sabrina grabbed the glass from Kenzie's hand and chugged it down.

"I'm fine," Sabrina spoke while coughing.

Suddenly, Kenzie looked at her with a mischievous smile on her face, "Tell me," Kenzie said, "What was that scream from yesterday night?" she teased her.

Sabrina's face immediately heated up with Kenzie's question, "Nothing h-happened!" Sabrina defended.

Kenzie suddenly chuckled, "What's with the stutter then?" she asked her.

"I didn't stutter!" Sabrina raised her voice.

"Why is your face red then?" Kenzie questioned her while pointing at Sabrina's face.

Sabrina cupped her cheeks, "I'm not okay!" she defended herself.

Kenzie poked Sabrina on the shoulder teasingly, "You did it with him didn't you?" she interrogated her.

"We didn't, okay!?" Sabrina answered in frustration, "He turned me down," she spoke weakly which made Kenzie burst out laughing.

"What!?" Kenzie laughed out loud, "Boss did what?!" she asked.

"Can you stop? I'm frustrated here, can't you see?" Sabrina vexed.

"Oh sorry, sorry," Kenzie apologized while trying to hold her laughter back, "It's just too funny," she laughed once again.

Sabrina just sighed heavily. She was really helpless towards Kenzie.

Later afternoon in the same day, Kenzie and Sabrina decided to go shopping together. Both of them headed to the mall to spoil themselves.

Before they left, Sabrina didn't forget to text Alexander.

To: My Bossy Baby <3

Out with Kenzie. Might be back late.

From: My Bossy Baby <3

You guys take care. I might be back a little late too. I miss you baby.

Sabrina just smiled at Alexander's reply.

"Oh right! It's your birthday tomorrow isn't it?" Kenzie asked Sabrina as they walked around the mall.

"Yep," Sabrina answered.

"Does Boss know?" Kenzie asked.

"I don't know. I don't think I have mentioned my birthday to him yet," Sabrina responded.

"What do you plan to do tomorrow then?" Kenzie asked once again.

Sabrina shrugged, "Maybe just a little celebration with you guys," she answered, "Just a simple one," she said.

It was already 7 PM in the evening when the ladies finished shopping. Both of them decided to just dine outside since the boys were going to come home late.

"So, how's your relationship with Grey?" Sabrina asked Kenzie while eating, "I think we haven't talked about it," she said.

"It's all going really well," Kenzie answered, "He's just a complete package for me. Although he's really annoying sometimes, I can't help it but love him more," a smile formed on her lips.

"I can see that you're so into him," Sabrina chuckled.

"Oh no! Correction," Kenzie said, "He's the one who's so into me," she confidently said.

Both of them had a good chat and laugh with each other during dinner. They talked about things about their relationships and some other woman stuff, until Kenzie's phone rang.

"Let me answer this real quick," Kenzie told Sabrina.

"Yeah go on," Sabrina answered.

Kenzie answered the call immediately.

"Hey babe, what's up?" Kenzie greeted as soon as she answered the call, "What did you just say!?" she suddenly exclaimed which alarmed Sabrina.

"We'll be there right away!" Kenzie said then ended the call.

"Who was that?" Sabrina asked.

"It was Grey," Kenzie answered.

"Why what happened?" Sabrina worriedly asked.

"It was boss," Kenzie said, "He's got into a very serious accident. He's in the hospital and Grey said that the doctors just revived him. He flat lined not too long ago," she spoke seriously.

Sabrina suddenly dropped the fork she was holding. She felt her body suddenly go weak as soon as she heard what Kenzie said.

"Let's go," Sabrina said. She grabbed her back immediately and headed out of the restaurant.

She originally had a bad feeling about this day the time Alexander's frame broke. But she didn't want to think negatively about it so she brushed the thought off.

But here it was.

"Please be okay," she whispered as tears started to flow down her eyes.
