2 A down to earth woman

"Sabrina, please look here!"

"Sabrina, what does it feel that you're going to be the lead of a Hollywood movie?"

"Sabrina, tell us your thoughts please!"

The reporters in the crowd are throwing questions non-stop to the person passing through right now. Surrounded by a big crowd, her bodyguards made way for her to pass through.

This was her biggest dream.

"Sabrina, are there any underhanded schemes made for you to be able to get such a role in a Hollywood movie?" asked a reporter.

"We all know that for an Asian celebrity, getting a lead role in Hollywood was something really hard to achieve. There were also no announcements about auditions being held in the city. You acquired not just any role in the movie Ms. Sabrina, you got the lead role! Was it just pure or was there something else?" the reporter added.

Suddenly the crowd went silent. Sabrina who is on her way to board her plane suddenly stopped her steps upon hearing the question.

She turned around and looked at the reporter. She removed her sunglasses and gave him a sweet smile and said, "Are you really that curious?" she asked him.

"No auditions were announced in the city because I was personally picked by Director Walker. Based on your question, aren't you indirectly accusing the Director of being immoral?" Sabrina looked at him up and down, "Do you have the guts to ask him the same question?" she said.

Everybody including the reporter who asked the question was stunned by her answer. Nobody thought that she was personally invited by the director. All of them had no idea how Sabrina got a lead role in Hollywood because there was no news of any auditions being held in the city.

So it turns out that she was personally invited by the director.

Sabrina took a final glance at the reporter before she wore her glasses back then turned around to board her plane.

Everybody knew that the director of this Hollywood movie was someone who they can't afford to offend. He was a world famous director with various international recognitions. Everybody looked up to him because of his amazing works and his clean record in the industry.

The reporters that were left at the airport shared some thoughts with each other. The person who questioned Sabrina earlier was obviously stirring up trouble for the actress. They thought that it was really embarrassing.

He was accusing someone of being immoral in broad daylight, what a brave soul.

"To our beloved passengers, please remember to turn off your cellphones upon take off. Our flight attendants will always be on standby when you need assistance. Sit back and enjoy the rest of the flight."

"Sabrina after we land in LA, you'll have a 2 hour rest before your scheduled interview. We'll head straight to the hotel first to get rest."

"Is that my only schedule for today Kenzie?" Sabrina asked lazily while covering her eyes with her arm.

"Yes, that's all," Kenzie answered.

Kenzie has been Sabrina's manager for a month now, she was already able to understand how Sabrina's mood worked and in this state she was sure that the incident earlier with the reporter gave her a bad mood.

"I think the reporter a while ago was paid by someone to try and slander me," Sabrina suddenly spoke.

"Yeah I think so too. Don't worry I will look into that matter," answered Kenzie.

Sabrina was always disgusted by people doing underhanded schemes in the entertainment industry. Although she knew how the industry worked, she at least wanted to be someone who doesn't rely on anything but herself and her talent.

Being at the top of the industry was something everybody wanted, and climbing to where she was right now was something she had worked so hard for so many years. She doesn't want anyone questioning her about her morals because she achieved everything fair and square.

"Please let me in, just one signature please! My daughter is in the hospital and she'll be very happy to get an autograph from her idol!"

"I'm sorry Sir. I really can't let you in. Please go back to your seat Sir. You are already disturbing other passengers," the flight attendant said.

"What's happening outside Grey?" asked a man who was clearly irritated by the noise coming from the entrance. He wanted to take this flight peacefully but the person in the entrance was not letting him. He was already in a bad mood earlier today for not having the whole VIP area for himself, and now he is being disturbed which made his mood worse.

"There's a father who wants a signature from someone here in the VIP area Sir," answered Grey who was already used to his boss' mood.

"Go deal with it quickly," ordered his boss.

Sabrina who was trying to sleep was awoken by the commotion happening in the entrance. "Kenzie what's up there?" she asked her manager, keeping her eyes closed.

"I think there's a fan of yours who wants a signature for her daughter. You can just ignore him, he'll leave soon. Just rest."

Sabrina immediately opened her eyes and sat up, "Do you have a pen?" she asked her manager.

"What?"

"A pen."

"Yeah I have one, but what for?" Kenzie asked, not knowing what's going on with Sabrina.

"Lend me," Sabrina said.

"Don't tell me you're going there?"

"Just lend me," Sabrina laid her palms in front of Kenzie.

Kenzie just sighed. She knew that she could never talk Sabrina out of it so she started to search for the pen inside her bag.

As soon as she brought it out, it was immediately snatched in her hands. She just sighed at the figure that walked past her who was holding her pen.

"As expected of her," Kenzie whispered to herself. She just laid back on her seat and opened a magazine for her to read.

"Sorry sir just please go back to you---"

"Sabrina! Can I please get your autograph! It is for my daughter!" the man shouted as soon as he saw a tall figure walking towards his direction. The stewardess who was busy blocking the man turned her head around to see the person who was coming.

"Sorry for the disturbance Ma'am, I was sending him away but he was persistent on getting your autograph," the stewardess explained. She bowed her head as a sign of apology for not being able to handle the situation.

"That's okay I'll handle him, you can go back to your work now," Sabrina said.

"Are you sur--"

"Yes."

"I understood Ma'am," the stewardess said, "If any problem occurs, I will be on standby," she added. Although the stewardess was a bit hesitant, she still turned around and went back to do her work.

"Hi Sir may I know the name of your daughter?" Sabrina smiled and reached out for the notebook that the man was holding.

"Her name is Jean. She's a big fan of yours. She is currently sick and is in the hospital for several months now," the father bowed his head while handing the notebook to Sabrina.

"How old is he sir?" asked Sabrina while signing the notebook.

"She's 20," the man answered, "She's currently battling cancer. She's getting better each day now and I believe you're one of the reasons that she keeps on fighting. She always says that she'll get better soon and be someone like you. I'm sorry for disturbing you. I just really want to make my daughter happy."

"Don't be sorry Sir, I understand how you feel," Sabrina patted the man's back, "I know the feeling of wanting to make the people around you happy. And you know what Sir, I think I have a better idea other than this autograph. Can I please borrow your phone?" the man was puzzled by Sabrina's sudden request, but he still brought his phone out and handed it to Sabrina.

Upon receiving the phone, Sabrina pressed something on the screen and started to record a video.

"Hi Jean! Sabrina here!" Sabrina waved in front of the camera, "So I heard from your dad that you are currently sick right now, I just want to tell you to keep fighting and get better soon! When you get better make sure to tell me immediately okay? I'll give my contact details to your dad. Thank you for supporting me and I love you!" she blew a kiss in the camera and then tapped something on the screen to stop recording. She handed the phone back to the man and wrote something on the notebook which was handed to her earlier.

"This is my personal number, please contact me here. And please don't give it to anyone," Sabrina smiled and handed back the man's notebook.

"T-Thank you so much! You are a very kind woman. Now I understand why my daughter loves you so much. She will be so happy with this! Thank you so much!" The man was really touched by the woman's attitude. He bowed several times while thanking the woman in front of him.

"I hope your daughter recovers soon," Sabrina gave him a sincere smile and then turned around to go back to her seat.

Grey, who was instructed by his boss to deal with the ruckus, stood in the middle of the hallway dumbstruck. He was amazed by the way Sabrina dealt with the man. It was nice to see a celebrity who knew how to be humble and stay down to earth.

Grey's view of the entertainment industry was not good.

Because of his work as a secretary, he always meets celebrities who only know how to play nice in front of the camera. He truly admired Sabrina's character.

After watching them, Grey turned around and went back to his seat to finish encoding the schedule of his boss.

"Who was that celebrity earlier?" his boss asked.

Grey was instantly stunned by his boss' question. He was his secretary for a very long time now, he clearly knew that his boss hated celebrities the most. It was very unusual for him to take notice of people like her.

Although he was very confused, he still answered, "She goes by the name Sabrina Sir," Grey said.

"Sabrina hmm.. Nice name," his boss mumbled to himself. He turned his head towards the direction of the woman's seat and took a glance before he positioned himself to sleep.
