15 Chapter 14: Cool Mother-In-Law And Softie's Ego

"Hey You! Stop it! Stop it! Right now!"

We were still in the middle of our little intimacy when I heard Lisa's voice which was growing more and more. So just in a swift movement, we broke apart as I tried to hide myself in the animal skin that Kyle threw at me when he was about to get up. And then I felt a strong pain on my back.

'Oww! Did I injure myself in the back while doing it or for staying on the bed for such a long time? It hurts!'

I immediately wanted to get up and do some exercises to relief myself but the thing was I was naked!

Completely Naked!

In the middle of it, I didn't even realize that my frock was shattered into pieces with my underwears by the culprit who was being scolded by his mom at the moment.

"Mom, What are you doing?" I heard Kyle asking while wincing.

"What am I doing? What are YOU doing?" She asked back as she came near my bed and handed me a brown clothing that I assumed to be the animal skin cloth of this era.

And much to my utter surprise, when I opened the cloth fully, it was exactly like my previous frock that was destroyed! And it's benefit is that I don't have to wear a bra underneathe it as it was thick enough.

I swiftly wear it underneathe the animal skin blanket and I swear it felt so comfortably! D*mn It's so soft and warm too!

I looked at the fox beast in front of me in awe and wondered, 'How did she get a clothing like this here?'

I instantly wanted to ask her that question when I felt that immense pain in my back again!

'Gods! It hurts like hell! I've seriously hurt my back this time!' I cursed in my mind while twisting on the bed to comfort my back.

I was still rubbing my back on the 'bed', when I heard Lisa saying, "What are you looking at her like that for? I told you na, she's special?!"

Wait... special? Meee- oww oww!

The pain that had just gone was back again!

I pursed my lips lightly when I heard Kyle's voice, "Mom? Did you forget that I..... That I am still tired with that hunting trip? How could you hit me like that?"

Wait! Wait! Wait!

All this time, it was Lisa who was hitting Kyle on his back, right?

And each time, he was hit, I could also feel the pain at the same time....

Gods! Goddesses!

I subconsciously touched the left side of my neck and as expected there was a small swollen area on it.

I pursed my lips as I looked at Kyle who was told off by his mom.

Hmph! He deserved that! Who told him to mark me without my consent?!

No wonder I could feel strange and foreign emotions in me when it wasn't even mine!

It was because of this idiot who gave me a temporary bond and bound our emotions together!

If I hadn't focused so much on Siri and Siri's character while reading the book, I would have never thought that with a temporary mark both the parties involved can feel each other's emotions!

Siri had temporary marked Sofia, the female lead after rescuing her to keep her safe, which was for keeping her away from other males as she was marked by a reptile beast. And it was also the reason why Siri fell for Sofia when he felt her genuine concerns whenever he was injured because of her.

So that is how it is! Right now....

Kyyyyyyle! You, wolf, wait for it!

I'll pay you back ten folds of this pain to you!

I narrowed my eyes as I bowed to take revenge on him for this!

It wasn't like I minded to get bound with him. But, I hope at least he had told me about this. No! I really needed to have a serious conversation with this idiot wolf!

I was brought back from my distraction when I felt a presence near me and then a soft, warm touch on my shoulders. I heard Lisa's genuine concerned voice, coming into my ears with a sweet, warm breathe, "Cub, how are you feeling now?"

"Fine!" I answered, ignoring the blood rush in my cheeks.

It was the first time someone asked me if I was fine or not with such a sift tone. And even when I had trained myself not to get too emotional, I couldn't stop my overflowing feelings, as I subconsciously leaned more to her arms for more warmth.

And my heart warmth up more, when she said, "It's good that you're fine! If not, I needed to teach my son some things that he might have forgotten!"

And she even turned to glare at Kyle who was looking at the situation dumbfounded! And I could feel him shivering too!

Well, he deserved it! Hmph!

But still not to embarrass him, I stopped the teasing smile that was threatening to form on my lips, making my face blush further!

"Well, Cub, let's leave this b*stard over here and move to my room, okay?" Lisa again turned to me as she patted my head and looked at my eyes with her sparkling ones. And for the first time, I felt someone from the same sex was so beautiful and charming! I swear, if I was a man na, I would have readily joined her Harem!

What Siri? What Kevi? What Kyle?

None can compare to her!

And so when she asked me that question, I found myself subconsciously nodding.

"No! Why?" I heard a loud protest coming from my wolf beast for which I almost burst into laughter.

And I could even feel his possessiveness!

D*mn male beasts of this world!

He tried to protest again and I swear the result was too bad and painful; as the heavy blow on his face impacted on my face to!

Oww! It hurts!

D*mn it! This fox beast is too strong!

So eventually, Kyle was threatened by his mother and successfully managed to take me away from him.

"Sheea~" I heard a pitiful call from behind my back and it was so funny that I could hardly control my laughter! I intentionally didn't turn back or reply him as I was really afraid I would burst in to laughter that would reallt hurt mu little softie's ego.

After walking towards Lisa's den, she showed me all the things of their residence that we came across. Like the trees which appeared longer than our world, flowers, even fruits and all.

And seriously, talking with her was like talking with my best friend. Both of us had some common interests and hobbies, specially embroidery and dancing.

Just within few minutes, we got so close. And just when we reached her den, she took a long sniff and then scoffed, "These Shans really knows nothing but to mate, mate and mate!"

I looked at her puzzlement as she took a long breathe and let out a growl. Soon, I saw a large, black panther came out of the cave running. He stopped in front of Lisa, circled her once and then rubbed his face on her stomach.

And I almost laughed out when Lisa who was crossing her arms on her chest and watching the panther, slapped him on his face when he tried to nuzzle in her.

She pointed at her side as she ordered, "Out! And don't let others to come inside too. If I found anyone of you coming in, I'll take five more Shans in! Got it!"

The panther roared a little and circled us once again and left in her pointed direction. I looked at Lisa in awe.

"You were so cool, right now!" I couldn't control my excitement as I exclaimed.

"Well, all of these Shans are possessive of their territory! To keep them in hand, just threaten them to take in more mates and they'll obey immediately! You should learn this trick too," She advised and I immediately nodded even though I knew it from the book.

We reached her den just in two more steps and when I was about to enter, I subconsciously looked up and my jaw automatically opened to almost touch the ground!

Just.. Just what... What is this?
