Early the next day, Austin went to his sister's room and gave her a peck on the cheek waking her up. " I'm sorry I can't escort you to school, you know I also have class" he said as her eyes flickered open. She just changed her sleeping posture and muttered"okay". She then went back to sleep.

"WTF Laura, do you even have a conscience? What's with that reply? Now get up, you sleepyhead" he shouted at her and pulled off the quilt. She was so annoyed. She tried pulling it back but this brother of hers wouldn't allow that. They kept on with the pulling game and she finally stopped and glared at him.

"now that you're awake, get up and get ready to leave, mom is waiting for you" he said plainly as if he couldn't tell that she was angry.

Laura was now realising that she had to get ready for school, but not before she dealt with this brat. She suddenly hit him hard with the pillow "ouch, can you be a little gentle?" Austin flinched in pain. "still sitting here right? I guess you didnt learn your lesson" she hit him again and he stood up and out the door he went. She still chased him with the pillow until Austin sat in the car. "now you go to school and be a good boy okay?" Laura said to him like a mother telling his young son not to cause trouble.

"love youuu" he shouted to his sister as the driver set off. She blew him a kiss in return.

She got ready and her mom took her to campus as their father went to work.

Upon reaching their location, Mimi helped to take out her things to the dormitory.

It was a Monday morning and she had to go to lectures. Her mother said a few words to her and left with the driver.

She watched as the car faded into the surroundings. Now realising that, most people were staring at her. It wasn't a big deal because she was used to it. At least being gorgeous and riding the latest Mercedes benz got you that much attention.

"Now where was she? " she muttered as she glanced around to find her friend.

"did you miss me? " Mimi popped up behind Laura with that wide smile of hers, scaring Laura.

"stop with the jokes and let's get down to business" Laura said to her friend with a face that says"i will skin you if u don't stop"

"yes, yes let's get to class" Mimi said putting on a fake smile and a face that said"gosh, that scared me".

Yes that was Laura. In school, she was the school belle, gorgeous, charming and rich. Who wouldn't want such a girl? But the problem was, nobody had the courage to approach her as she seemed like she didn't tolerate nonsense. She had a face that showed no emotions and that made her more beautiful.

The funny thing was, the school belle who nobody dared to approach had a thing for dating the school popular and handsome guys.

Her reasoning for this behaviour was rediculous. She didn't want anyone to feel superior in front of her as that will make them behave like sh*t which will annoy her.

So she dated them to subdue them. For the girls, there were quite a few who were annoying but she had a way to deal with them. She snatched their boyfriends, which breaks their heart then dump the guys within 3 days.

So in this school, everybody kept a distance from her, both male and females. Mimi was a girl she saved from bullies and she wouldn't let Laura go. She sticked to her like a plague even with how she was treated.

She walked majestically like the queen she was with Mimi beside her.When they entered the class, people were busy studying but stole glances at her from time to time. She ignored them and sat in her seat.

"now Mimi,tell me who is this new guy you were talking about?"

Mimi beamed at the topic her friend raised.
