(Someone knocks on the door)

Alejandro: Come on 10 more steps.

Catalina: Ok this is pure torture. Where are you taking me?

(She opens her eyes and see a beautiful black car)

Catalina: She's beautiful.

(Catalina starts crying)

(Catalina stares at Alejandro smiling)

Alejandro: What? Okay this is uncomfortable.

Catalina: Let's go for a ride!

Alejandro: We can't. She's not mine.

(Catalina leaves)

Fernando's POV: Que pequena bomba de garrapata./ What a little tick bomb.

Alejandro: You're weird.

Fernando: What does that even mean?

Alejandro: Since Gael came back from Mexico and signed up for the race you've been really moody.

Fernando: Not true.

Alejandro: You know you can't fool me.

Fernando: You know how much this race means to me. And Gael participating means i can kiss my victory goodbye.

Alejandro: That doesn't give you the right to take it out on Catalina.

Fernando: You don't even know her.

Alejandro: Maybe. But i do know that she's a friend of Karina. And as her brothers we decided to be nice to the people she loves in order to help her feel at home.

Fernando: You're right. Guess i'll have to talk to Catalina then. But first i'm going to visit Johanes. Gael's there too. You wanna come?

Alejandro: I'll let Karina know that we're leaving.

(A bit later)

Catalina's POV: The night came faster then expected. After my little tantrum with the Alvarezs brothers i immediately came back to Karina's room and threw myself on the bed. Alejandro and Fernando left and came back home pretty late. As for me and Karina. We spent the time talking and gossiping, but as much as i tried it was impossible to forget Gael.. Gael Ricardo Garcia. I've heard a lot about the Garcia family. Powerful people, rich family, but i never imagined them having good looks too. This guy woke the curiosity in me, and i was impatient to find out more about him. But for now i had to focus on college too. Tomorrow's our first day, and i had to sleep to be on full energy mode in the morning. I felt it. This year was going to be real interesting.

(Next morning)

Karina: We need to look on point for our first day.

Catalina: I agree. Think you could help me choose an outfit?

Karina: Show me what you got nina.

Catalina: By the way i adore your brother.

Karina: Which one?

Catalina: Is that even a question?

Karina: Alejandro?

Catalina: Yup.

Karina: Fernando is a sweetheart too. He's just kinda moody these days.

Catalina: Ugh. Okay i'm done.

(The twins come in the room)

(When they head to college)

Catalina: Hey why don't you guys go ahead and i'll meet you in 5? I have a phone call to make first.

(Meanwhile to Catalina)

Catalina: Yes mom the boys are being nice to me. No mom they're not fighting with each others. I actually just arrived to college. Mom you're talking way too fast i can barely understand what you're saying! Wait is that dad? Pass him the phone i need a word with this husband of yours.

Dad: Princess.

Catalina: Dad you need to talk to the boys! They're not letting me borrow their cars.

Dad: Princess you'll get a new car soon just be patient. As for now i have a business meeting i gotta go. Bye love you.

Catalina: WAIT! WHAT THAT'S IT?

(He hangs up on Catalina)

Catalina's POV: Great they made me furious on my first day.

(She looks behind her)

Catalina's POV: Holy. An all new coupe XAX plus a black edition beast. Every racer's dream car. With a 7.3 liter engine and 900 horsepower. Plus twins turbos. This car can win any championship in the blink of an eye. Who's car is it?

(She walks towards the car)

Catalina's POV: Damn that bumper.

Catalina: Hey beautiful. Who in this college can afford a beast like you? Even my brother would die to put his hands on your handlebar.

Gael: Are you talking to my car?

Catalina's POV: Holy mother of god. GAEL?? He goes here? It's his car?

Gael: So sports car fan eh? I would have never imagined Johanes' sister being interested in these kind of things. You don't talk much.

Catalina: I..

Catalina's POV: You make me nervous.

Gael: Is your brother here yet?

Catalina: I don't know.

Gael: She speaks.

Catalina: Sorry just nervous for my first day of college.

Gael: Eh, you'll get used to it finalmente.

Catalina: Finalmente?

Gael: Oh you don't speak Spanish do you?

Catalina: No.

Gael: Johanes should definitely teach you.

Catalina's POV: But i don't know how to get to class alone..

Catalina: Hey wait. Is it okay if i walk with you to class? It's my first time here and i don't know how to get to the main gate.

Gael: Follow me.

(Catalina runs after him)

Gael: I'll call Johanes see if they're already here.

Catalina's POV: Everybody looks so peaceful in here. College is very different from school. I remember having to wake up early every morning to wear a uniform. To take the bus, to worry about everything and anything. School's all about bullying, having to be around stupid kids and not being able to be yourself around judgmental idiots. While now, we get to be ourselves. Especially in this college: The international university of LA. This place is divided to two buildings. The first is reserved to normal majors: Business, Pharmacy, Medicine, Law etc... The second building is reserved to the artistic majors. A place where architects, designers, sculptors, artists even chefs, get to live in harmony. A place reserved for the art lovers any major that has to do with creating something new. We get to act the way we want, we can wear our own outfits without the fear of being judged. We can have green hair, full tattooed sleeves, 20 piercings in each ear, and we'd still feel comfortable. In this building we do what we're best at.. Creating. Personally, as i already said, i'm an architecture student. Karina takes culinary classes. Sommer wants to be a future designer. All 3 of us are in the same building. As for my brothers they're in the other one, Law, Medicine and Business students. I wonder what major Gael's in

Gael: They're waiting for us. Yohoo Bonita?

Catalina: Sorry i zoned out.

Gael: Your brothers are in the common garden.

Catalina: Common garden?

Gael: It's where the students of both buildings meet.

Catalina: Oh, interesting.

Gael: Let's go.

(They go to the common garden)

Sommer: You're insufferable.

Johanes: Oh am i?

Sommer: I hate you Johanes.

Catalina: Johanes? What's going on in here?

Sommer: McDonalds over here thinks it's okay to be an asshole.

Johanes: McDonalds?

Sommer: Shut it. Thank god i have class in 5. Cata i'll see you later.

Johanes: Did she seriously call me McDonalds?

Alejandro: You know you deserved it Johanes.

Catalina: Wait you two know each other?

Alejandro: See? I knew you were familiar. Plus it's pretty obvious that you're related to Johanes.

Catalina: Are you kidding me? We literally have nothing in common.

Alejandro: Oh you little baby are you offended?

Catalina's POV: He's using my life on me.

Catalina: Oh no i'm furious now.

Johanes: Well this has been fun but i have class in 5 too. I'll see you guys later. And Gael my offer is still on the table bro.

Gael: I'll see you later Jo.

Fernando: Ricardo are you coming to the training today?

Gael: I'm not sure yet. I have a few things to take care of first.

Catalina's POV: Somehow i couldn't stop thinking about that offer Johanes talked about. Gael was a very interesting person. Not very talkative. He actually never said more or less then what should be said. His eyes gave him an incomparable charm. The key necklace never left his neck. I wonder what value it had to him. I couldn't help but stare. He was the "Strong Silent type of guy". That guy who women may flock to due to the mystique that surrounds his persona. His Mexican accent was extremely sexy. And for some reason i had this deep attraction towards him even tho i barely knew the guy.

Gael's POV: Is she staring?

Catalina's POV: He totally saw me staring.

Gael: Hey you're gonna be late for class.

Catalina: You're right! I have to go. I'll see you guys later.

(She runs to class)

Gael: I've got class too. Fernando i'll let you know if i change my mind about the training.

Catalina's POV: Where's the cartography classroom? And why's the hallway empty. Shit i must be too late.

(Catalina runs into someone)

Miguel's POV: Waw.

Catalina: I'm so sorry! I tend to be very clumsy when i am nervous.

Miguel: You're the Ross girl aren't you?

Catalina: Am i supposed to recognize you?

Miguel: Well let's say you're kinda famous. You're Johanes' sister aren't you? Everybody's going on and on about the Ross' sister.

Catalina: How do the student know about my brothers?

Miguel: So where were you headed running like that?

Catalina: I'm looking for the cartography class. I'm already 5 minutes late.

Miguel: Architecture student? Congrats, you've got yourself a new classmate.

Catalina's POV: I barely had 2 classed today, the other 2 were canceled. Guess they decided to go easy on us for our first day. The day went by pretty fast. Miguel is three years older then me and is a double majors student. He's studying both architecture and Business. Pretty smart i'd say. Miguel's a very good guy. His dark skin highlighted his emerald green eyes. He was very calm, funny, sweet and extremely good looking. Nothing like Gael, buuuuuuuut pretty close. Miguel: I can feel your eyes examining me.

Catalina: Can i ask you something? You're Mexican right? Means you speak Spanish?

Miguel: Obviously.

Catalina: Do you happen to know what does "Bonita" means?

Miguel: You're pretty.

Catalina: Thanks?

Miguel: Bonita means pretty.

Catalina: Oh! Alright! Thanks.

Catalina's POV: Gael thinks i'm pretty?

(A few moments later)

Miguel: This is the main laboratory. Your brothers should be here any second now.

Catalina: Thank you so much Miguel. You didn't have to walk all the way with me.

Miguel: It's fine hermosa. Jonah is a good friend of mine the least i could do is help his sister.

Catalina: See ya tomorrow and thanks again.

Miguel: Bye hermosa.

(Miguel leaves the main laboratory)

Catalina: Might as well get comfortable.

(She goes sit on a table)

Catalina's POV: How come i never met my brother's best friends? And how come these 3 idiots are the most popular guys in college?

(Gael walks in the main laboratory)

Gael: Wrong room Cataloca.

Catalina: Oh it's you. And my name is Catalina.

Gael: Right, Catalina. Aren't you supposed to be in the other building?

Catalina: My classes have been canceled and i honestly don't know what to do now. Thought i could find my brothers in here but guess i came earlier than expected.

Gael: Fernando's sister just finished too, her classes have been canceled as well.

Catalina: Oh well, guess i'll stay at hers until my brothers finish. Can you pass em the message?

Gael: Do you have a car?

Catalina: No i'll let Alejandro or Karina drop me at the penthouse. I should probably go now.

Gael: Wait let me help y-

(Catalina falls from the table)

Catalina: HOLY.

(Gael catches her)

Gael's POV: What a clumsy female specimen. Loca y torpe/Clumsy and Crazy.

Catalina's POV: And right before i hit the ground. I felt muscular hands firmly holding me. With a perfect timing and a fast reflex, Gael saved me from what would have been the most embarrassing moment of my life. I'm not like that. No i really am not. I'm normally a confident little red head and i never show any sign of weakness in front of men. But him. He made me weak in my knees whenever he was around i always had to act like a complete idiot.

Gael: You alright?

Catalina: I'm sorry. I'm really not that clumsy normally.

Gael: Well you sure are these couple of days.

Catalina's POV: Our faces were barely 10 inches away. I was extremely nervous and somehow i knew that i looked like a smashed red tomato. But he... Was looking right into my eyes as if he was reading my mind. Looking at all these thoughts that were filling my head. He was breathtakingly handsome. His eyes were a perfect spring sky, full of warm emotions. But at the exact same time i could see a pair of glacier, cold darts, as if they knew no warmth and never shared love. This guy has a secret hidden in his eyes. And i was curious to find out what it was. As soon as we heard footsteps he gently moved back letting go of me.

Gael: You better be careful next time Cataloca, I really wouldn't want your petite persone to be all smashed up.

Catalina: It's Catalina.

Gael: Right, Catalina.

Catalina's POV: Is he mocking me?

Gael: Is this what you look like when you're angry? Not convincing at all.

Catalina: You wanna know what's more convincing?

Gael: I would love to.

Jeremiah: Morning sis.

Catalina: Jeremiah. Well since you're finally here, i just wanted to let you know that i'm gonna go to Karina's until you guys are done with your classes.

Jeremiah: Be careful and call us if you need anything.

Gael: Nice talking to you Cataloca.

(And Catalina just keep walking)

(An hour later)

Catalina: That little piece of-

Karina: You're not allowed to swear.

Catalina: Says who?

Karina: Catalina my eardrums are going to explode.

Catalina: You're not even focused on what i'm saying.

Karina: Honey you like the guy we get it.

Catalina: I never said that. This guys is 3 faced.

Karina: Mhm.

Catalina: One second he's the gentle guy who walks me to class and help me find my brothers. The next second he's that mean guy who mocks me and calls me Cataloca. Oh and finally he try to be the kinky guy and play with my nerves.

Karina: You're overreacting.

Catalina: I'm gonna head home.

Karina: Let me drop you.

Catalina: No it's okay i really feel like walking.

Karina: Okay honey be safe and call me when you get home.

Catalina: Alright mom, see you tomorrow.

(A while later)

Catalina's POV: Okay i take it back, i need a cab, walking is definitely not my thing. Where can i find a sushi restaurant in here? Gotcha

(She walks to some people)

Catalina: Excuse me? Sorry to disturb you ladies but i just wanted to ask if you bu any chance know where i can find a sushi restaurant in here?

Devin: You found the right person. My husband owns a sushi restaurant at the end of the street.

Hope: The best in town.

Devin: We'll be happy to have you.

Catalina: Alright thank you so much i really appreciate.

(Couple hours later)

Catalina's POV: After having my daily dose of sushi i immediately went back home. The lady whose husband owns the restaurant is adorable. She even gave me her number in case i came back.

(Catalina runs across rooms)

Catalina: I need to pee.

Jeremiah: No Catalina wait don't- use the bathroom in the hallway it's occupied. Eh i warned her.

(Catalina runs in the bathroom)
