9 Unraveled.

Argentia kept her eyes on the door of the study when she handed the book to Victoria. She sensed Aran was gone. The reason they both can sense this snake in the shadows was that Argentia carried an amulet that was charmed and inscribed by Oleksiy Vlad for her. In case anyone dared to spy on her, that amulet will turn hot.

The day always wore the amulet on her body. So when she was reacting, the amulet suddenly turned hot. She knew it was Aran. Victoria meanwhile was pure blood and her senses were stronger than the normal vampires. This time she was excited and let her guard down that was why she missed Aran's presence.

Sensing that the snake is gone, he probably thought that the mother and daughter are talking about some girl's stuff. Argentia asked in a low voice, "Did you really feel your heartbeat for Bones, the hunter?"

Victoria nodded. Her mother sighed, "Do not tell this to your Father. He hates that guy. In the past twenty-five years, I have seen him becoming a maniac at the mention of that guy."

The princess asked, "Why do they have such enmity?"

Argentia replied, "I will tell you what I know." she took a pause and said, "Well you already know how I met your father?"

Victoria nodded, "He was badly wounded, broke into your house. He drank your blood, in return, you also bit him and drank his blood. I wonder how can you two be so harmonious after such a bloody meeting." she chuckled.

Her mother said, "Your father was wounded because of Bones, the hunter." her voice was solemn.

Victoria asked, "What do you mean?" she was shocked. Never did she expect that the man she was so curious about and probably in love as well would actually be her father's mortal enemy. It was normal for vampires to hate each other sometimes but mortal enemies were a different story altogether.

Argentia said, "Their enmity is no less than 150 years old."

Victoria reacted, "That guy is an antique? Oh my god. Am I suffering from gerontophilia. (Sexual attraction for older men)" she held her forehead with her palm.

Argentia couldn't help but laugh out loud. Her daughter has not reacted like this since she was a kid. This was too joyful for her. She said, "When I met your dad he was already three centuries old."

Victoria walked up to a chair by the window and sat down with a huff. She mumbled, "Mother, I took after you too much."

Argentia chuckled and said, "Do you not want to know about Bones, then?"

The girl nodded in a blink, her mother sighed and said, "Bones, father is Progenitor Alucard. His mother, however, was a mortal. He was born out of a heated encounter between the two. Alucard seriously chased that mortal girl and married her. He never told her he was a vampire. When he found out that the lady was pregnant, he left her for the fear that his enemies will harm her.

He never thought that the lady was in danger from her own kin. Bones was born with a cold body. His blood was blue. The doula was a kind lady, she helped her get away from the village before the others found out."

Victoria snapped, "Mom, to the point, please. Why is my father a mortal enemy to Bones?"

Argentia shook her head and said, "Such an emotional story can you not be patient?"

The girl replied, "NO."

She was helpless in front of her daughter so she spoke after a deep breath, "Your father killed his mother, Vika Smith."

Victoria opened her mouth wide, her eyes almost fell out of her sockets. She could not believe that her father killed, her potential boyfriend's mother. How was she going to have a love story now? How was she to meet Bones? Who was she to support in this battle? Things suddenly messed up to a level where the smart CEO cannot see a solution.

Argentia saw her daughter and said, "Your father is a lustful man. Vika Smith was said to be so beautiful that even the Progenitor was charmed by her. The lady used to wander from town to town every few months to keep her child safe. When she came to Marvel City. She found the justice tribunal. The tribunal helped her and Olek fell in love with her."

Victoria asked, "How old was Bones then?"

Argentia shook her head, showing that she did not know. Victoria asked a lot of questions, but she did not get an answer. The girl sighed in helplessness and, holding the book, she walked out of the study. She wanted to go back to her office. She suddenly heard her mother say from behind her, "If you want to know more. You should go to the tribunal of justice, but remember if you enquired about it. Olek will know."

Her warning was simple if your father found out. You are on your own. The girl sat in her car and went to the office, lost in thoughts. She did not know what to do, or how to do it, but she felt her chest heavy. The car arrived at the office entrance and the guard asked her to get down. She had just walked in when her secretary rushed to her and whispered something in her ears.

Her face turned cold, and she asked, "Are you sure? do they not know that it is us?"

The secretary shook her head. Victoria said, "Let's go I would like to see who is so arrogant to try to acquire our stocks." stepping onto the high heels, she walked to the conference room. Someone came up to her company and said that they have gained 60 percent of the stocks. She wanted to see who was so mad.

Do they think they can just walk in on her turf? Is this place their garden? She was already frustrated after hearing the enmity between her father and that hunter. Now, this person just came here to bear her rage. She made this man cry.

She boarded the elevator and came to the conference room. She entered, only to find someone sitting at the head of the table. She spoke, "How dare you sit in my chair?" her royal throne was seized.

The person was sitting with his back facing them. He spoke, "Even you belong to me, let alone the chair." the dominating voice shook the people.

Victoria froze when she heard this voice. The cogs in her brain turned at a high speed as she thought, 'Oh my god, is this him? Why the fuck is he here. Also, what did he say? I belong to him. Is this not too fast?'
