11 Price.

Victoria did not understand why Bones left like that. She was expecting him to attack her and do something to her. What happened was contrary to her expectations. She was not ready for him to leave her standing there. His speed was too fast. She did not even have the time to react.

As she watched his back getting out of the conference hall with a tinge of pain in her chest. She sat down on the chair as she caressed her aching neck. Victoria mumbled, "Bastard, just you wait. This is the second time you have hurt me." although she said this. Her voice had no trace of hatred.

Her bruised neck healed in a few moments. She sighed and stood up. While sitting inside the chair she had made a decision. Find out about Bones. She took a deep breath and walked out of the conference hall. Her secretary was waiting for her outside.

As soon as Victoria walked out of the conference hall she said, "Madam, Mr. Lee is here for the appointment." her words stopped the blood princess in her tracks. She sighed and nodded. Her work hours were already booked. She said, "Cancel all the appointments for tomorrow evening."

The OL nodded and the two walked to Victoria's cabin. She went inside, a few minutes later the secretary led a greasy middle-aged man inside. The man greeted Victoria and the two people discussed their affairs for half an hour before the man pushed off with a frowned face.

The secretary walked inside the cabin and found Victoria smirking. She knew the president had secured the deal. She poured a glass of water for Victoria and said, "Madam, may I say something?"

Victoria nodded. The secretary mustered up the courage and said, "The man who came earlier in the conference room. I saw him leaving with red eyes. I just wanted to ask if you are okay?"

The Vlad princess was surprised and asked, "Can you say it again?"

The secretary shrunk her neck. She said in a low voice, "Madam, that man, he seems to be crying. I do not want to sound nosy but it looked as if he was in pain. I don't know why I told you about this irrelevant thing, but I could not stop myself."

Victoria said, "Go busy yourself." her mind was filled with a storm of thoughts at this moment. She decided to postpone everything and find out more about the man who unsettled her. Stood up from her chair and walked out. Her car was already on the door. The guards responsible for her safety had called for the car.

Inside the car, she said, "The Tribunal."

The driver nodded and the vehicle drove to the tribunal. In an hour she reached her destination. She got off her car and walked to the entrance of the church. Just when her hand was about to push down on the door. The door opened itself and clergy wearing a habit stood in front of her.

He asked, "Princess Vlad. What do you seek?" his tone was indifferent. Someone approaching the tribunal always had to pay a price.

Victoria spoke, "Information about Bones the hunter." her voice did not waver. She was ready to pay the price.

The clergy shook his head, "You cannot pay the price. Please leave."

Victoria was shocked, as she asked, "What is the price that you think I cannot pay?"

The clergy replied, "The prince for this information is not money or assets but a life. Can you pay?"

Victoria was not a cruel vampire. She was good with humans as she found them interesting and as for fellow vampires. She had no enmity with them either. Suddenly she was asked to pay them with life. She hesitated.

The clergy shook his head and said, "You want to know about the hunter yet you cannot hunt. Please leave. The tribunal does not do charity." he was about to close the door when the girl said, "Wait."

She clenched her fists so hard that they almost turned blue. "Whose life will make up the price?" to find out about this guy she made up her mind. Even if she had to murder someone, she would do it.

The clergy raised his eyebrow and said, "The hunters get to set what price they want. The tribunal just mediate. The information of Bones Smith will cost you an urn, filled with ashes. The ashes must belong to a vampire. The vampire must be Oleksiy Vald."

His words sounded like a clap of thunder in Victoria's mind. She was shocked. This guy set her father's ashes as a price. How can she ever kill her father? This was impossible, her father was her most loved person.

She was enraged, how dare he set her father's life as a price. Her eyes turned red, pureblood powers went on a rampage when the clergy said, "Miss Vlad. Every price must be provided with a reason. Bones Smith also provided a reason. Would you like to know that reason?"

Victoria snapped out of her daze. She nodded with some doubts in her heart. The clergy stood sideways and gestured her to come inside. The girl walked inside the church building.

The Clergy said, "Every person has a lot of stories to say. Bone however, has only one story. What you want to find out is already known to almost all the vampire house hold masters but the reason they cannot say it is Alucard Tepes. They are afraid of him, and so is the tribunal. The reason behind the price is revenge. Bones Smith wanted to kill your father. He challenged him for a blood duel whenever he is up for it. You father, I beg your pardon, is a coward."

Victoria bared her fangs at him. The clergy was unaffected as he continued, "Also, what you seek is wrong. To know Bones Smith, you must know Vika smith."

The girl was surprised, she mumbled, "His mother."

"Yes, his mother. Bones was 15 when your father forced her to die. Ever since then, he is only one thing, the hunter. That is what you get for free." the clergy smiled at Victoria as he stood up. The girl knew that she cannot get anything else out of the clergy so she also stood up, ready to leave.

The Clergy asked her, "So, Miss Vlad, what do you seek?"

Victoria glanced at him and left with any reply.
