Elliott's car pulled up to a two-story house, which was forty minutes from his home. When he got out of his car, he unlocked the gate and greeted a rottweiler named Rocky.

"Wassup, girl. Did you missed me?"

After petting the dog, he pulled out a second key chain from his pocket and unlocked the front door. Elliott stood by the front entrance to listen for any voices. When he heard the familiar chatter, he followed the voices upstairs: the master bedroom. He found Chanel O'Neil cuddled with a three-year-old Ja'Mira on the bed.

Chanel was a gorgeous short redbone, he met a few years back. They met at a sports bar he and Issac went to. At the time she was a server. Without Issac knowing, Elliott noticed that the young beauty would often sneak glances at him and would smile at him every now and then as she attended to her tables. Long story short, she decided to be bold and slid her number to him. She couldn't deny the attraction between them.

She was only eighteen at the time while Elliott was twenty-four.

"Da da!" The little girl happily yelled.

"So you don't have time for us anymore?" Chanel said with an attitude.

"Watch what you saying around my daughter. You know damn well I work double shifts at the hospital. You enjoying the shit I buy you, right? Plus this house and the clothes on your back, right? I'm grinding for us."

The deed to the house was under both Chanel and Elliott's name. They purchased it a year after they began dating.

"Yeah, alright. You're full of it. Why is it that every time I call you, I get sent to your voicemail? If I'm lucky enough, I might even get a text or two."

"Mommy jealous, Mira." Elliott teased. "She's mad because I'm working hard and can't cater to her 24/7. Tell her to stop it."

"Stop it!" Ja'Mira repeated.

Elliott walked over to the bed, placed the toddler down, and leaned towards Chanel. "Gimmie kiss."

Chanel pecked his lips as if it was the last action she wanted to do. As Elliott pouted, Ja'Mira laughed at his childishness.

"You know I love you, baby. You are the only queen for me. Now gimmie kiss. I had a hard day and I just wanna spend some time with my family before work calls me back in."

Chanel snickered. Easily swayed by his simple words. She leaned in and passionately kissed him. A simple kiss turned into a soul kiss. Both fighting for dominance. Despite Elliott barely being around, he did take care of her and his daughter: making sure they wanted and yearned for nothing. Above all else, he was an amazing father.

"Ew. My da da!"

Chanel chuckled. "We can't share our baby?"

Ja'Mira shook her head no before crawling off the bed and leaving.

"Did you eat, baby? You want anything?"

After Elliott said he was hungry, Chanel went to the kitchen too and cooked his favorite steak omelet with a side of fluffy pancakes. It was better than IHOP. He loved her cooking. They engaged in conversation and joked with their daughter. Chanel admired the genuine smile on Elliott's face. Although they were doing nothing but spending time in their house, she cherished the moment.

By noon, Ja'Mira was in her room napping which gave the parents the much needed alone time. Chanel was laid out across their king size bed. Wearing nothing but a thin tank top with matching short shorts. The woman looked stunning even in basic clothes.

Elliott licked his lips. Laying down beside his woman, he rubbed her thighs, slowing making his way to her groin. The way he rubbed her began slowly before his speed quickened.

"Baby." She moaned.

"Tell me what's on your mind baby?"

"You starting things you can't finish."

"Oh really?"

Chanel felt weak under his touch. She was getting wetter by every movement he made. Elliott leaned over her for a sensuous kiss. Pulling the straps of her tank top to the side, he sucked on her nipple: leaving love bites behind. His fingers entered her shorts and he began to thrust inside of her until she climax.

Before he could enter her, Chanel pushed him on his back. She climbed on top and slowly filled herself with his penis. When she became accustomed to his size, she began to ride him. Once she found the rhythm she wanted, she began to ride him faster. When Elliott noticed she was struggling to reach her spot, he used her hips as a guide to thrust upward. Together they came to the peak of their arousal.

After a second round in the shower, they put on a fresh pair of clothes and carefully put Ja'Mira in the car. After an hour's drive, they arrived at a zoo. When Ja'Mira finally awoke she screamed for joy. All week, she was talking about visiting the large "kitty cats."

Chanel and Elliott walked hand in hand as they visited different animals. When he felt his cell vibrate in his pocket, he reached in his pocket to turn the device off.

"Why aren't you with an ole boy this weekend?" Issac asked Janaya.

"He was called into work at the last minute. He chose to work over me... Again." Janaya sighed. She pulled two tickets out of her pocket. "Here, maybe you two can use these."

"I'm sorry, boo. I know how much you struggled to get these jazz tickets." Kyla soothed her best friend.

"It's fine. Maybe we can go to the activities we had planned for tomorrow. I rented out the paintball center downtown. I highly doubt he will be available to attend anything I have planned." Said Janaya.

Isaac said, "Of course we can do that. We can even go out tonight if you want to. Are you okay?"

"Sounds fun, it been a while since we all went out together. Let's do that." Janaya sadly smiled, ignoring his question.

Issac could see the pain in her eyes as she talked. Her smiled looked as if it was painted on her face. Not even real and able to see through. The poor woman failed to hide her real emotions. Something she always failed at doing.

Kyla stepped away to take a phone call from the office.

"Everything is going to be okay. You don't have to hide the hurt from me. Just remember that Elliott will be with you all summer. You will be dying to get away from him then. I know I will." Isaac laughed. He put his fingers under Janaya's chin and gently picked her head up. "So cheer up, beautiful. He's just chasing a bag for you."

Issac was hoping and praying that Elliott was not making him out to be a liar. He trusted his friend but he wouldn't put anything past nobody. He would be a fool to lie to Janaya.

Janaya gazed into his hazel eyes and smiled. She felt calm. Milk chocolate skin, neat-oiled locs, and a killer smile: he was Janaya's most cherished friend. She loved him. Just like she loved Kyla.

"Thank you. I really am thankful for ya'll."

"What you thanking me for?" Issac pulled her into a tight embrace. "I got you."

She felt her worries disappear briefly. After parting, she went to find Kyla and waved goodbye. She was thankful that they had planned on sacrificing their time to help her get her mind off of things.
